Yup! I think all we might be in the 160s at the same time! 175.8

I need to eat some serious calories today. It's so hard to eat enough when you're eating nothing processed. You looked at this huge plate of food and like ugh. I have to eat all that?! Then I look over at my husband's cheeseburger and I'm like yummy!! My food is like 8x that size and 1/3 the calories haha. Kidding, but that's what it feels like sometimes!

i usually hit my protein goal easily, but I need more healthy fats. I'm thinking cashews today. Yum. I'm in a rut otherwise. Any other ideas?

CheesecakeBrownie 07-03-2015 01:20 PM

mmm avocado?

Penny105 07-03-2015 01:22 PM

173.4 today. Up again, but I know what contributed to this - I had dinner out and got a hot dog. Very salty but totally on plan. One thing about my up up up down down up down down up up down pattern is that I freak out less when I see ups. It can get annoying (like my vortex of standstill), but I'm not alarmed. Baby steps, right?

HIHeart, I think the show does do water pills and other tricks to reduce water weight for dramatic effect.
Being in between pant sizes isn't fun, but it's great when it's on the way to a smaller size! :)

Nickilaughs, I do that sometimes too, eat a bit more because I feel hungrier or more burned out. I think taking a break can help not get off track sometimes. And a focus on fitness is definitely an excellent one!

Cheesecakebrownie, I'm with you in the inching along! But as long as it's inching in the right direction, I'll take it. Progress is progress, right?

Walnuts, Macadamia or cook your food with some coconut oil.

nickilaughs 07-03-2015 03:22 PM

What Maui said. Avocado is good too. According to map I always eat too many good fats. I'm trying to find more good carbs I can add but it's really hard on the diet my doc is making me do. :/

HIheart 07-03-2015 03:46 PM

Thanks ladies!

Wow. I just love lifting. I lost more off my waist!!! 33.75 in! Last time it was that was when I was like probably 15 or so lbs lighter? Just guesstimating here. Guess my lifting from before I derailed is still paying off too. Just twice a week and 9 lbs gone! (Lots of that is wheat belly. I've been mostly gluten free for ~2 weeks).

Yay! It was 42 inches the beginning of May. It's hard to write that down but I guess now that it's better, it's ok now haha. :D

nickilaughs 07-03-2015 04:02 PM

Yay to lifting! That's awesome Hi! One of the few other female lifters at the gym came up to me and told me how awesome I was for going every day and my dedication and how great I looked. You should see her arms, they're incredible. It was so nice of her to say that and now I have a lifting buddy!

HIheart 07-03-2015 04:20 PM

Yay Nicki! I'm so glad you have a lifting buddy! It feels so good to get compliments like that. You really do look amazing! :)
My lifting buddy from last time now has 4 kids and is too busy to come with me, but my hubby just joined so maybe we can arrange our schedules and meet there sometimes

I have no idea how I let myself detail like this and so fast. It's so weird. One of my old favorite thing used to be feeling the bump/muscle on my outer arm. It's never bulky, just defined, and makes me feel amazing. I can start to feel it again! I'm so happy!

Penny105 07-04-2015 11:20 AM

173.6 today. Looks like I'll be sitting here for a while. I'll just wait for another whoosh. Should only be another month if past experience dictates. ;)

On the topic of wheat/gluten, I have a question for anyone who has done gluten free currently or in the past. I'm going on a trip where we need an easy lunch almost daily that can be unrefrigerated for hours and be eaten with hands (and we will have no microwave/stove/etc. at any time). One person coming recently went gluten free, and she's trying to figure out what to do. I thought I'd ask around here. Normally we pack sandwiches. We likely won't have any gluten free bread where we're going.
Anyone one have ideas for her lunch?

HIheart 07-04-2015 11:44 AM

Penny-I'd probably just wrap the same fillings in giant romaine lettuce leaves. Will you have ice packs hopefully? It's not quite as filling as bread, so she'll need an extra veggie or fruit. Lara bars are super easy & don't go bad haha

Penny105 07-04-2015 12:04 PM

HIHeart, I don't know if we'll have ice packs. Unlikely when we're walking. I'll see if she knows about Lara bars. I hadn't thought about lettuce! My only concern is that with the unlikeliness of ice packs / coolers, the lettuce may wilt (it'll be in the 90s or higher).

HIheart 07-04-2015 12:11 PM

Ah yes. Do you guys do pb&j then? Let me think. I usually pack salads. I'm sure there's something

Eta:
Trail mix
Popcorn
Beef jerky-it's hard to find a gf one, but they're out there. I think i found Target brand was years ago

Kinda weird but I guess I'd do something like that for hiking without icepacks

Penny105 07-05-2015 01:06 AM

HIHeart, yes, we normally do things like PBJ that don't need refrigeration. I like the idea of trail mix and popcorn; I would eat that too! Thanks! I was also considering individual peanut butters and sliced fruits/veggies that would hold up in the heat.
Beef jerky has gluten??? Wow, never would have guessed!
Thanks for your help!

Penny105 07-05-2015 09:30 AM

173.2 today.

Hope everyone in the USA had a great 4th of July!

AOKay 07-05-2015 04:03 PM

Hi! I've been lurking for awhile, thought it was about time I posted.

I finally got into the 170's a few days ago and weighed in at 177.8 today. So excited!!! But..already I'm eager to see the 160s. :p

i don't weigh daily, but I'll be checking in every couple of days or so. :)

HIheart 07-08-2015 01:06 PM

Welcome Kay! Sounds like you came flying into the 170's!

I'm up a pound. Not really sure why. Could just be from working out/ remodeling/ painting. I've been redoing our guest bath and boy am I sore!

nickilaughs 07-08-2015 08:46 PM

Im up too :/ im blaming tom and some tweaking in my doet adding more carbs that i can tolerate. My inches are the same and my new size 10s arent tight. So not gonna a sweat it.

HIheart 07-10-2015 08:22 PM

174.8 today yippee!!
TOM is coming next week. I'm going to enjoy this low because it's not going to last with TOM due soon. I'm stuck with a miserable migraine that will probably be here until Mon or Tues :(
How's your new diet plan from your dr going Nicki? Are you feeling any more comfortable with it?

Penny105 07-12-2015 03:39 PM

Been a long week. On my phone, so quick check in. 172.2 today.

HIheart 07-14-2015 10:36 AM

174.2
You're so close Penny!

CheesecakeBrownie 07-15-2015 10:22 AM

172.8... getting pretty darn excited here...! :D

nickilaughs 07-15-2015 04:24 PM

178.4. Ugh. I've been cramming food in my face after my last few shifts. Hungry at first, so i try to eat a bit and then I just go I to auto mode and start cramming things in. :/. I'm going to get back on track today. My plan is to eat something light like yogurt when I get home and read a little and go to bed instead of my usual watch two or 3 episodes of dr. Who.

CheesecakeBrownie 07-16-2015 09:02 AM

hi nicki, evenings are the toughest time for me too, I crave snacks when watching tv or movies. Good plan with the yogurt and reading, good luck!

HIheart 07-16-2015 12:54 PM

My hubby and kids love DR Who!! I secretly like it too but I like to pretend I don't so I can make fun of them haha. They know I like it though ;)

Good luck getting back on your plan Nicki, let us know how it goes! :)

Woohoo CCB!!!

I'm still 174.2. I've weighed that exact # for ~4 days and 174.x for about a week! . I think getting some GF TV dinners/junk food stalls me out even though I've eaten within my calorie range. I've also slacked off of the veggies so I might be backed up a little (tmi sorry!!!!!). I guess I'm back to all whole foods except about once or twice a week! I'm about to go up because AF is due tomorrow.

Ok I'm off to yoga. Have a good Thurs. ladies :)

CheesecakeBrownie 07-22-2015 10:33 AM

You guys! I''m getting soooo close!

HIheart 07-22-2015 01:02 PM

Yay! So close!!! congrats!!

I stumbled on the scale this morning right after waking up. 172.8.
At first I thought I gained, but then after I had my coffee, I remembered there used to be a 3 after that 7! Haha. Yippee! Only 2-3 weeks left until the 60's :D

CheesecakeBrownie 07-22-2015 02:10 PM

phew, HIheart... glad you remembered that 3 in there!

HIheart 07-22-2015 02:13 PM

Good thing I document it on here too. I feel practically senile sometimes. Too much stuff floating around in my brain!

Nicholsfamily1987 07-22-2015 02:24 PM

I weighed in at 176.4 today! According to my spark people app. I am right on track for losing weight. But I have been bouncing between 175 and 176 for seven days now and TOM is right around the corner! It seems like the 170s is going to be one of the hardest decades to get out of! I am going to stay on track but I have to see this is very frustrating!

callmeMRSKarpie 07-24-2015 03:52 AM

Hope I can jump in...if not tell me to buzz off... 175.2 this morning. Hoping my stay here is short.

Nicholsfamily1987 07-24-2015 06:52 AM

Woo hoo!! Had a drop this morning 174.8!!! 5.0 pounds until I see the 160s!!!

ladyfat 07-26-2015 10:18 AM

Hello everyone, Il'l be joining you in this thread after seeing 179.6 on my scale this morning! 9.8 pounds until the 160s for me (yikes!). I'm working off a regain that started last August (and then will work off a regain that started earlier than that) but I remember weighing 171 at some point last August so a lot of my heavier clothes will start fitting at that point, I think… 173.4 is 20 pounds down when I hit that… 175 is the amount I met my current partner at, so it'll be nice to start going down from that number… I'm excited! The 160s are so much thinner than the 170s for me, so I'm racing there.

Alright 07-26-2015 11:18 AM

I've been at 173.x for 8 days and counting now. Ugh, just a little whoosh would be nice. Maybe tomorrow I'll see 172.x.

I think I'll start posting here.

PrairieQueen 07-26-2015 11:41 AM

I hope this is my first and last post here......I've been at 170 for seven days now! Hopefully, I'll be in the 160s very soon :)

HIheart 07-27-2015 01:02 PM

Yay for all the new posts!! :D

171.8 this morning.

Nicholsfamily1987 07-28-2015 07:08 AM

ladyfat: Congrats making it to the 170s!

Woke up this morning and to my surprise I was 172.8!! This seems to be how it works for all my decades...the first 5 pounds DRAG and the last 5 lbs I fly through! So let's hope that I lose this next 3.0 lbs as fast as I did the past 2! 163 puts me in the overweight category for my BMI...I can't wait to be OVERWEIGHT! :)

CheesecakeBrownie 07-28-2015 10:15 AM

169 guys!!! :carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot:

I have been on just about every 170's thread we have had over the past few years. I wish I could say good-bye forever ... I was in the 160's a couple of days ago and today bam 172.2
