Penny, I sure hope that's the way next year works for me. This is my plan ... I have decided that rather than think about losing weight and getting to 150, I will focus on getting back to the weight that I started at on January 1st of this year which is 165.8. which means that I will need to only lose 6.7lbs by December 31st. That sounds/seems doable. I will them focus on the 15.8lbs to get down to 150 by April 14th then I will give myself the remainder of 2016 to do the last 18lbs. ... I now need to add 2.7lbs as of today to all of that
also Penny you are welcome to join us on this thread ... http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/100-...ty-thread.html I've been weighing daily for years

weight today 175.2 up 2.7lbs. The results of burger king, shower, then bed, woke up late and voila, smh

Today is Day 30 of my Whole30 program and I've just stepped on the scale. I've lost 8 pounds in 30 days - from 175 to 167 pounds. Wohoo! So happy

Hey ladies! I'm pumped to join you at 179.8 this morning. I'm planning on working my butt off and am hoping to hit the 160's by mid December. Let's do this!

love2b150, Thanks! Whole30 is all about eating as healthy as possible - eating home-cooked whole foods. I eliminated dairy, sugar, grains and legumes from my diet for 30 days and now I'll slowly reintroduce them back while paying attention to how my body reacts to them.

I feel so healthy and good right now, I really encourage people to try this.

Take a look if you want to know more about this: http://whole30.com/whole30-program-rules

I'm getting closer to my period, so my cravings are getting worse. It's hard to tell when I'm hungry or not through the cravings, so I just time out my meals and stick to my calories. Had some close calls last night, though. I wanted cookies, chips, lots more pizza, candy, all of it. But I chose not to.

Sadly, the cravings are with me this morning and have been since I woke up. Not that it matters much, but I still don't love the discomfort. Have to work through it, though. It didn't help that I've had no net loss this week despite being on plan 100%. Patience is the key word for weight loss, I think. Patience, and making good choices.

love2b150: I have a plan for next year too, and I'm trying to stick to it like glue. Good luck on your plan! Your end of this year plan sound totally doable.
Thanks for the link! I may check it out. I like these decade threads, though. It helps me mentally break down my weight loss into a less overwhelming series of goals rather than one big goal.

Weightever: Congrats on completing your Whole30 plan, and on the 8 lb loss!

Leopardspots: Welcome to the 170s thread! Great work getting here!

Weightever, congrats on your loss and being successful on your plan!

Welcome to the 170s leopardspots!

Penny105, I hope your cravings are going down. It's always so hard for me too when they are strong. I tend to give in a little while still staying within my calories. Going back to the last page, I don't really have a hard time finding clothes except jeans. My thighs have always been big and my waist small (when not overweight), so it's tricky to find a perfect fit. I have found certain brands fit me better than others.

Weightever, thanks for the link. I did something similar to this with my church. I loss 10.2lbs in 32 days. I tried doing it again and didn't have the will to stick to it. One day I'll put my foot down again and actually stick to something good for me

Penny, maybe that's what's wrong with me, I want a little of everything and nothing is satisfying LOL, I need to get it in gear for my end of the year plan to remain doable. I was up 2.6 this morning, smh.

Hi ladies! I finally made it to the 170's! So excited. Haven't seen this number in a few decades!

Weighed in at 179.8. Hoping to move through this decade as quickly as the last one. Going to be a challenge this time of year, but I think I will be able to do it.

TOM has got me back up to 179, seems my bloating was way worse than normal. Hoping it goes away fairly fast.

As for my vitamin D, I could tell yesterday was the day before my next dose. I was slightly feeling like I did before but thankfully took my dose this morning!!

Hey all, I'm new to the forum. I was at 164, but since August 1st I've gained 13 pounds, so I'm now at 177. I'm not happy to be back here, but hopefully with support from everyone I can get back to the 160's and even the 150's!
