Good Morning, Everyone! TGIF!

Last night I didn't add on any yoga. We got home late and I was already tired. Today is my early day, so I had to get up an hour earlier than normal. I have been having bouts of hormonal insomnia the last few mornings. I will wake earlier than the alarm clock and/or not sleep well. This is normally a sign that TTOM will be starting soon. I think I only got 4 hours of sleep last night.

Calories for yesterday: 1480 + My sodium was high from eating crab legs
Weigh In: 161.2
Up: 1.8 pounds

Enjoy your Friday and start to your weekend!

diana I had a great day exercise-wise, walked 5 miles at a good clip. Food derailed in afternoon when kids came home. I need to just get back to saying no to myself re snacks... Sorry you didn't sleep well. I thought I overslept, raced down to my sons room telling him to GET UP, WE ARE LATE!! Actually, it was a half hour early, I misread the clock! Both of us went back to sleep, but not the cat.

Ian so sorry to read about your FIL. I hope today is a better day for him and for you.

Every day starts out fresh; always a good thing! Shook up my breakfast today.

Breakfast: 1/2 apple, 0.6 oz "bruschedda" cheese -- which is locally made cheddar with basil, garlic, sun dried tomatoes mixed in. Oh, and my non-negotiable daily cappuccino.

Lunch: homemade lentil stew; salad of lettuce, tomato, beet, green pepper, olive oil; hard pretzel

Now is the time I struggle most, between lunch and dinner. Plan is to keep busy. Time to go gear up for a walk.

time4me definitely! Begin fresh, put this behind you and move on. You've got this!

Snack: Mediterranean crackers with pecan pumpkin butter, handful of dry roasted nuts. Nothing else until dinner! I'm planning on making Fragrant Cinnamon Pork with Sweet Potatoes over brown rice, and also some stuffed peppers to have on hand over the weekend and/or in the freezer. Witht his colder weather, I'm wanting a warm lunch!

I'm better but still having some coughing fits. No exercise for a week and I feel paranoid that I'm going to gain. I don't want to force myself if I don't feel okay, that always backfires.

I will see how I am tomorrow. *sigh*

I just finished TOM and haven't stepped on a scale, and don't plan to for a few weeks.

Up a pound this morning but today has been really good. Sitting at 850 cals right now at 9pm with a 300 cal snack/mini meal planned for 10 pm. I eat late which I have heard is not recommended but nothing makes me more grouchy or makes me feel more deprived than trying not to eat after dinner. I am much happier if I skip breakfast and don't eat between lunch and dinner but snack at night.

Diana--unfortunately 1500 is maintenance for me. I lose very little at 1350. My goal is 1200-1300 which is SO HARD but that's the only way I lose weight!

Thanks Diana on the kind wishes. And way to go with your crabs legs and roasted oysters! Super healthy and super low in calories.

Anyway down 0.6lbs today.

I had a strange day diet-wise. I went to a restaurant for a lunch with a colleague. I thought we were going slap-up but I ended eating less than I normally would because my colleague only wanted a salad and no dessert! Go figure! Dang, I wanted to wine and dine! Instead, I ended up eating less than usual!

Breakfast: 2 pieces of toasted low-calorie bread with raw mushrooms and mayo light. Some olives. 1 coffee, milk, no sugar.

Lunch: Restaurant...3 oysters, butternut squash soup, salad with greens, calamari, shrimp, mussels and scallops.

Dinner: Am drinking beer (Green Flash Green Bullet).

Exercise: Did 45 minutes weight training. Didn't run as I needed a rest day to run tomorrow.

Hi Everyone!

We are celebrating DH's birthday tomorrow night. I will eat off plan and over calorie. BUT I will only eat that one meal that way. I will eat my normal breakfast and try to keep my lunch light. In the past I have taken the whole day off. I will not do that tomorrow. Also, a week from this Monday we are going to the fair. I am making a plan for what I want to eat there and that will be it. I don't want it to be a free for all. For the year after I reached maintenance, my weight would drop to the 140's. I would be able to eat off plan for all events and vacations and would not have a problem. It seems like I am either eating close to maintenance or my body hasn't regulated from everything I have been through. Again, until I can get through the holidays, I will at least try to maintain my weight. Of course I would prefer to lose.

Zima Good job on your day.

Newleaf Thinking you overslept really messes up the day. The fragrant cinnamon port sounds delish. How was it?

Happygal Hi I hope your day was a good one. Enjoy your weekend!

Time4me2change Sorry about the derail. Tomorrow is a new day. No worries.

Novangel Don't be paranoid. You can get back to your workouts when you feel better. You don't want to push it and you end up being sick even longer. Feel better soon.

Fluffypuppy I'm thinking my weight loss range is lower than it was before. Not sure what's going on with me, but we may be in a similar range.

Ian Congrats on the .6. Good job on your day.

Larry Have a good weekend.
