Hi Everyone!

Tyla I understand about counting calories. It also makes me feel like I'm more in control.

Time4me2change Thank you! Congrats on the 3 pounds for the week! I hope you are much better by tomorrow.

Alaskanlaughter Sounds like yesterday was a good one for you. Sorry about you having to call CPS. I know that's a lot of stress on your shoulders.

Syckgirlsfv Glad you stopped by and let us know how you are doing. Good luck with your exams!

Ian Another awesome salad filled with all the colors of the rainbow and the healthy things in life. You even have some fermented stuff with the kim chi! That's suppose to be really good for you.

Happygal Hi I hope your day was a good one.

Novangel Thank you. I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope you had a great run!

Sunflower bread
banana, two prunes

I also love the new photo Diana, beautiful!

I've taken a break from the Daily thread because reading everyone's food was making me want to eat everyone's food. Gah! But I'm still tracking at home.

Alaskanlaughter- I am sorry for you current stress, I wish peace and harmony to find you and yours soon.

Checking in

Back, kicking weight's butt and taking names! My motivation is totally rekindled and am down 1 more pound from my current ticker... hoping to drop even more this week.

I also had a small victory.... Tuesday is shopping night...dinner with coworkers first, then we shop... I did not buy any chips...and put back my most favourite chocolate in the world! I did buy some fancy instant coffee drinks and a box of fruit snacks (the ones made with fruit and veg)... but I think that is BETTER than cheetos and hershey hugs... especially surrounded by coworkers buying chips and chocolate....

"nothing tastes as good as thin feels"

I'm also starting to kind of tell people..... like I'm not longer afraid of that cloak of failure (maybe because I've finally lost 10 pounds and am on a track to keep going, previously I'd drop 10 and give up?)

Whatever....feeling good.

Hi Everyone!

I went back to the Endodontist today for him to remove the medicated filling and to place the temporary filling. The gum area still feels weird. The Endodontist thought it was a good idea to continue with an antibiotic. I had to have two rounds the last time I had a root canal, too. He prescribed a stronger antibiotic that is to be taken 3 times a day. The first dosage was to be 2 capsules at one time. I started feeling ill with the last antibiotic almost immediately. I had nausea and was dizzy. I have been OK with this one, so far. I guess they are just different and affect you differently. Hopefully I don't have any negative effects. Next week I will go to my regular dentist to get it permanently filled.

What kind of drama will I have with a antibiotic + TTOM?

It looks like the DH's birthday celebration continued today. Tomorrow is his birthday. An older lady customer/friend brought by some ice cream and chocolate cake for DH's birthday. I couldn't turn her down since she went out of her way to do this for him. I ate a piece of cake and had a scoop of ice cream. I chose not to eat my regular lunch since I had to oblige her. The ice cream and cake was not as satisfying or filling as my regular lunch. It was really hard to get through the day until dinner.

Total Approx 1495 Calories +

Breakfast (395 Calories + coffee)

spritz oil in pan
egg 70 cal
egg whites from carton 60 calories
Vegetable of choice
1/8 cup feta cheese 40 calories
Rudi's Whole Wheat English muffin 130 calories
1 teaspoon jam 20 calories
juice 75 calories
coffee w/sugar and cream

Lunch (500 calories) not sure about this, this is the best guesstimate I can give
chocolate cake 300 calories
scoop ice cream 200 calories

Dinner (600 Calories)
Grilled salmon (Ian, look at me! 2 days in a row actually the place we went to just recently added it to their menu. ) 400 calories
2 orders steamed broccoli 200 calories

I'm thinking Diana will lose tomorrow with so much great salmon!

Besides, it makes your skin and hair look wonderful. Salmon is No. 1.

GMNEVO Welcome back! It's good to see you! Good job on your day!

Newleaf Thank you! Just keep trying and doing what works best for you.

Mrs. Snark Thank you. It's funny, I don't have an issue with seeing everyone's food listed out. In fact, I quite enjoy it. I also love hearing about when foodies go out and enjoy special meals, etc. I have had issues recently at the grocery store. I have been going through the bakery area and really looking at the baked goods. I have literally been fantasizing about that stuff. Last weekend I said enough was enough. I only skirted that area to pick up my Rudi's flatz and English muffins. I didn't even look toward the fresh baked goods. I felt a lot better doing it that way. It was starting to be a real struggle for me.

Syckgirlsfv Happy Birthday! Enjoy your birthday meal.

time4me2change Great job kicking butt!

Alaskanlaughter Good job with the weights!

Ian Good job on those intense workouts!
