Yeah, but I don't even think Salmon could combat the chocolate cake/ice cream for lunch! Not to mention the antibiotics.

Actually, I think I did very well considering the situation. Also, in the past I would have said I couldn't eat my regular lunch, so screw it, and take the rest of the day off. I am truly working on this behavior. I hope one day to combat all of those crazy voices in my head. They want to lead me down the path of overeating and weight gain.

I had leftover salmon and asparagus for dinner after running almost an hour and doing weights/push ups. I can't stand the way my upper arms look anymore.

I need to get back down to 138p. I will weigh in a few more days.

Alaskan, sorry about your friend.

Well, it's not a loss, but I will still take it, especially with all the obstacles.

Have a great day!

Just checking in to wrangle myself back on track. Stayed up late (til 2am!) last night working on a paper for school... and somehow being so tired lowered my defenses and I found the blue corn tortilla chips. Yes organic, low sodium, etc., but still I didn't need them except as a mental "reward" or "incentive" to stay up and get my schoolwork done. Felt doubly bad from being both overtired and going off plan. Today I'm going to stay calm, recognize those over-tired urges to eat, and take an afternoon nap! Thanks for listening, it helps a lot just to check in! Oh, and looking up at the above posts, I'm thinking salmon for lunch :-)

I've been down for the last 10 days with kidney stones. First three days hospitalized, last 7 just barely functioning. Had my ultrasound Monday and hoping to have it blasted soon. Took two years for it to move, but I knew it was coming.

Diet has taken a back burner, but I'm still plugging away as much as I can.

BACK! 4 successful days in row for me at last!. Today there was a pizza party at work for a coworker thats leaving the company they had pizza/pumpking cheesecake and chocolate cake. I managed to attend without eating none of the above I brought my lean cousine and ate that Did 30 mins in elliptical.

Calories today: 1500
Exercise: 30 min eliptical

Tomorrow there is another challenge, halloween! I volunteered to be the designated driver for my friends which will at least keep me from intoxication and a billion calories in alcohol. I also have a meeting through lunch at a puertorrican restaurant thats going to be tuff...there isn't that many "healthy" options on the menu so Il do my best.

Hi Everyone!

Novangel How are things at work? Are you building a good client base?

Mem7883 The lack of sleep can be so difficult. I hope today was a better day for you. Good job recognizing those behaviors.

Radiojane I'm glad you checked in. Sorry to hear that you have been sick. Just keep doing the best you can. Check back in soon to let us know how you are doing.

Time4me2change Good job on your weigh in!

Ian I hope everything goes well for your FIL.

GMNEVO Good job on the 4 days! Good luck tomorrow with the restaurant.

Well, that salmon Diana is giving you some serious protein for not many calories. So keep rollin' with it!

More than that you are getting a big shot of Omega 3s which will make your hair and skin look and feel greater with repeated use. And it will lubricate your joints and do all the good heart stuff. Healthy fats.

And then there are the vitamins and minerals: potassium, phosphorus, vitamin B-12 and niacin.

Antibiotics meeting salmon is like a high school bully picking on a professional (kick) boxer.

But let's see those numbers. I am predicting a knock out.

Me **LOVE** oily fish. It's changed my life.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Last night I added on:
Cleanse from Sara Ivanhoe's Taste
Short Rest from AM PM Yoga for Beginners

Calories for yesterday: 1480 +
Weigh In: 159.2
Down: .8

I am back to where I was on Saturday, before DH's Birthday dinner.

Ian I used to eat a lot of fish and seafood. I had a time, prior to my angioedema diagnosis, when I thought I was allergic to it. So I got away from it.

Enjoy your day!

i made it 18 days in a row of heavy weight training at the gym i'm surprised that my schedule allowed me to do that...it did take some scheduling in that i had to be firm about leaving work meetings etc ON TIME and not spend the next hour chatting with people...i could go to the gym today and i'm debating making it 19 days in a row especially knowing that Friday and Saturday i CANNOT get to the gym...however i was so sore yesterday from increasing the weights that it was hard to move around and my back was really sore...i couldnt find a comfortable way to sleep last night and my body is still sore today...i'm really considering having 3 days off from the gym in a row, which is HIGHLY unusual for me....the longest i've taken off from the gym in the last 2 years was 4 days in a row when i was very very ill
