I only weigh-in on Wednesday nights, and since there was no meeting last week due to the holiday, tonight will be my first weigh-in of the month.
I've been pretty busy the past few weeks. Drove to California to spend time with my grandma, adopted a new puppy once we got home, and heard back from a place we were looking to rent which means we're probably moving next month.
There were a couple nights out that I could have made better choices food-wise (ordered sweet potato fries one night and had a second slice of pizza the other), but I feel I was still perfectly reasonable, so I'm hoping for decent progress. Can't wait to see how I did! Hoping for about two pounds but I'll be happy with any loss.
I've been at this weight loss thing hardcore for 16 weeks now, and I've lost A LOT in those 16 weeks (40.5 pounds of the 56.7 total to be exact, and all of it since December 20th). I've had ups and downs and small stalls, and I've taken it all with a good attitude I think. Sure I've had times were I've gotten frustrated, but I've taken it all in stride. BUT right now I'm more frustrated than I've ever been! .3 loss in 2 weeks. I know I'm eating accurately within my calories, I weigh everything I eat! I record every bite. I've been weight training, running, and random other cardio. I know it's just the scale being an a-hole and it will catch up, but it's so discouraging!
Lockitup i hear you! i am stuck for nearly 3 weeks bouncing between the same 3 pounds...so frustrating, i have lost 66 pounds since late october last year and i'm proud, but when i stick like this it is so annoying, last time i plateaued was at 224 and i was at that for about a month
I'm back on track after going up a few lbs last week, so hopefully when I do my official weigh in on Monday I'll be closer to my 5 lb goal (glad I decided to do a more modest goal this month lol).
LockItUp: That's an amazing loss since December, wow almost 60 lbs? I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to be putting in all that work and not seeing the scale move like you are use to. Maybe you are putting muscle on that's compensating for any weight you are losing?
Im joining the thread late but I have a record of my weight through out the month saved so I know where I started Previously I have made my goals on these posts to lose 10 pounds like it says, but it never happens for me. I'm going to set my goal at 5 pounds instead and if I lose more than that then...yay! lol
i want a *woosh*! what IS the *woosh*?? massive water weight loss?
Sort of, yea. Whooshes are usually some water weight and some fat loss from your efforts (sometimes fat loss can be more depending on how much calorie deficit and/or exercise.) I never really got them until recently, only a few times and every time, it was after TOM.

Saw 178 something a couple times then back to 179 so boo, not counting it YET. I am thinking about getting a new scale since mine is a bit wacko even with new batteries but I'm a bit scared I may weigh more on the new one, lol. But then again, I may weigh less.
Stephanie- Just keep pushing through! It has to come off eventually, right??
