O.K.
I'm in too. I'll aim for 6 pounds again. My mini mini-goal is to get back to where I was in January. That's 226. Great to see everyone and some new folks too!

Default HI ALL~

I hope you don't mind me jumping in, I am definitely up for a challenge! I weigh in every Monday morning, but as of today my current weight is 199.5 and will aim for 6 pounds. That doesn't seem like much but my goal is to take it off slow.

Angry Hi everyone

Hi everyone! Welcome to all the new comers. Well it's early here, hubby woke me up to go fishing and then fell asleep ! Well I'm down 3 pounds this week. I really had to work hard to get it though. I guess the closer to goal, the harder it's going to get. In March, I lost less pound wise than in recent months, but more inch wise. With trying to tone up I guess that's more important for me right now, I'm just so anxious to get to goal Well I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday. Take care- Di

Hey, folks,

I'm hosting a my family's dinner/birthday party for my daughter tomorrow. My parents are bringing KFC (as always), though I plan on having some lower cal option. Any tips on making it through a get-together like this one without too much damage to one's diet?

Thanks,
-Deborah

I lost 1 pound this week. I didn't have a slowdown like this in weight loss last time until I hit like 135. (I lost 8 pounds every month until I hit 135 last time) I wonder why it is slowing down now. I have been eating the same and walking 4 miles everyday. At this rate It will take me 6 months to lose the last 22 pounds.Hopefully next week will show a better loss for me. Oh well, gotta keep movin forward.

Deborah, if you are having KFC then I would get a tender roast breast and a small serving of potatoe and get your own veggie or something like that. I hope that helps a little. Good Luck!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi everyone,

I am back again. I weighed in at 260 this morning and I'm setting my goal small this time -- I still want to get down to 255 (which was my goal for the last challenge!!!).

I'm not sure what I am doing lately... I've maintained for about a month, give or take a pound, right around the 50-pound total loss. Each new week I keep saying that it's time for phase two (the next 50), but it hasn't happened yet.

I dunno, I've been feeling really good about myself at this point, and I guess that is why I am stalling a little. But, I do want to reach my ultimate goal eventually, even if it takes a while (and it's better that way anyway, right?)...

All that said, count me in again. One pound or so a week should definitely be doable, right????

Good luck, everyone! And thanks for being there...

Challenge Goal 6#s; #s Lost = 2

Happy Saturday everyone. Welcome to all the new challengees and everybody returning. I'm glad to see a bunch of new people who can give and receive support. It felt like I was in a slump last month but dare I say, this month I think I'm gonna do great?

I am down 2 lbs this week, weighing in @ 176. Bringing me to 39 lbs lost so far! Yippie! I really think I'm gonna do it this time, no giving up. Thanks for the awesome support and positive examples all of you set. You guys are great.

Congratulations to all the losers and maintainers...have a great weekend!

Hi everyone. I didn't lose anything this week. I'm not working very hard at it, either, so it's not surprising. Worked a lot last week and did a LOT of fast food. One night it was subway which isn't too bad, but also Macdonalds, Pizza Hut...you get the picture. Will do better this week. I HATE watching that scale act like it's stuck! I'll check in later this weekend. Hope everyone has a good one.

hi everyone. i'm not using caps because i have a sick baby on me. yes, she is sick again. she has dipped below the 10th percentile for her age and the drs want us to take her for blood work because she's always sick and isn't gaining. sorry, a bit off topic. anyway, my loss for this week is two pounds. i'm feeling great because i never thought i'd actually get this far back when i first started. i'm down 45 pounds. i'm shopping in regular stores! all of the pants at lane bryant are too big! i never thought i'd see the day!

Have a great one everybody!! TTFN,

Default Hi All

Well I won't be joining in this challenge but I will be keeping myself active. I have been trying to keep from going over the 200 marker. I am doing good on that part even without exercise just watching what I eat.

Today was my induction to the Alpha Betta Gamma Honor Society. It was wonderful and I had to keep myself from getting all teary eyed. But of course as soon as I looked at my mom and saw how proud she was of me I started to cry. What a baby! I tried to keep myself from getting all emotional throughout the whole thing but once I saw mom I knew that was the end of it.

I also dropped one of my classes, which is the online course. It was so stressful and it was keeping me from concentrating on my other classes and was bringing my grades down. So I dropped it without any damage to my GPA.

Anyway enough about me...I am glad to see so many new people joining the challenge. Many thumbs go up for the losers! Amazing is all that I can say! Gennel great to hear things are going well with the house. Di, girl you are just melting away...you are truly inspirational! Jen it's always hard to get the scale to do as it is told when life get's in the way...keep to your goals. Laney I hope the little one gets better soon. Angie, yiiippppeee to you, keep on going it will all fall into place. Kempy love your new avatar. Then of course all the new people that I have yet to catch up on...many of you have set your goals small and some feel that they aren't as significant but always remember that the weight did not creep on us over night, it was a gradual process and that is how we need to tackle the weight loss. Focus, water, and perseverence it is possible!

Talk to you all later.
