My scale and I are taking a break from each other but I will check on the 30th too see if I made my goal and to get my start weight for July. I like the monthly challenge, I just need the mental break from seeing the scale everyday.

I just want to say the thing that I can't say to other people or women here (they speak another language) I feel fat! I am afraid to get on the scale. I have kept on track with my calorie count, but I feel bloated. I will however get on the scale again on Saturday morning.

CW:166 GW:155 Boy was I socked when I stepped on the scale this morning! This has been a terrible week for me I have been having really bad insomnia and I have been really stressed about money since I am currently unemployed. This along with that TOM ended up in two separate binge days where I ate a lot of really bad stuff. Yesterday I weighed 170lbs and felt defeated like those binges had completely ruined all my progress and then today BAM! 166lbs so I have lost 4lbs so far and I am wondering if 165 will put in an appearance for Sunday. Knowing I have lost 4lbs in 2 weeks is actually pretty awesome and makes me feel like my goal isn't nearly as impossible as I started to think it was. Time for me to stop moping around and wallowing in self pity and defeat and really start setting goals for myself everyday. My goal for today and tomorrow is to apply for at least 1 job per day and to exercise both days. I am working out with a friend today so that part it already taken care of. |

CW: 182.6 GW: 172.6 So I fought off the weight gain and am now back to where I started. I guess I should at least be somewhat happy about that. I doubt I can make my goal but I think I can get into the 170s if I stay on track..... Keep it up everybody. We're only halfway through the month. |
I was depressed not being able to move the scale from my 178 lbs, so I celebrated with some chocolate candy and chips AND champagne and I moved the scale alright. Right up to 180lbs. !!!!!!!

LAgreeneyes - So what do you do now? You can not change the past, what you do now is what matters.

Don't give up LAgreeneyes. I was just in the same boat as you, fighting off a gain instead of celebrating a loss. The important thing is that you pick up the peices and keep moving forward. You don't want a 2lb. gain to turn into a 4lb gain, and so on and so on.

CW 151.5 GW 142.5 Plus 2 this week, yikes! I think I am the only person that actually loses during TOM. Not discouraged though, stepped up the exercise this week and will do even more next week. |
