My goal is 15lbs in the month of June. This is really my first month of putting real effort into losing weight so I am hoping for a big loss this month and then expect it to taper off in July. I will be happy with any loss really but I am aiming high so that I stay on track.

I am planning on going to the gym 6 days a week a alternating resistance training with cardio intervals. For diet I am focusing on eating whole foods with lots of protein, veggies and lentils.

How are my new found forum peoples doing?

I am ready to start this month off right. I am doing the scarsdale diet for two weeks and then going to the fit and trim for two weeks. This is the only diet that makes me feel full. Is anyone else doing it or has tried it?

I would love to lose 10 but if I can get back to my low of 145 I will be excited. May was not a good month for me with family in town and traveling most weekends. June I have absolutely no excuses and I need to use up an exercise groupon I purchased.

Last month was a wash for me; I started at 194 and ended at the same. Ten pounds this month is a bit of a pipe dream, but mostly I just want to get out of the 190s.
