Hey girls. I was wondering, howm any members are there? And how can you look at other journals, if they're a) not in themost views, or most posts category, or b) not listed as the last ones to post? Any ideas how to find other members? ANd, I've never been able to find the chat area. Always gived me jumbled words. I've sent e-mails to the moderators, and never a reply. Wish I culd see what else this site offers. Although, i"m also addicted to this.
Hey everybody, just got back in from lunch which was a Lean Cuisine something or other w/some steamed broccoli and a bunch of grapes. Doing ok foodwise. I have to get rid of that leftover b-day cake, it keeps calling to me. Yesterday I caved and had a piece, just a small square--but gawd! I love that stuff. DANGEROUS! I am going to dump it tonight, no ifs, ands or buts. Just have to do it while my boy's not looking. I've been really busy with updating my accounting system here and tying up loose ends for tax time. Hating computers right about now. Still having problems with the server busy message on 3FC and don't have time to dilly-dally and wait for it...keep trying to post and losing all my message so BLAH! Just wanted you guys to know I'm still here. Frazzled, but here. Oh yeah, more drama with my in-laws. FIL and MIL's health is falling apart--emergency rooms and surgeries were the order of the day for the past 2 days. I'm going nuts. Well, gotta finish up some numbers and try to clear my desk. Check back tonight if I have a spare minute. Hope everyone's doing great.
How is this for a high today? 9 below 0. It is so damn cold outside!!! The last 2 days have been miserable...thank god I work in my backyard, no cars to warm up and such. I do feel really bad for Jay though he has to deliver in the mornings.
Noelle, You are good that cake wouldn't last the night in my house and it would be ME eating it all!!! I would have it for breakfast,lunch and supper.
So far the scales say a one pound loss but I am dying to binge on Chinese and cookies. WHY??? I don't know. I have a cupboard full of candy and cookies compliments of my mother in law. Gotta love support like that,huh?
Oh yeah and my dog is a **** eater. Happy Days The money I paid for my little "show doggy" and she eats poopsycles. I love her anyways but I'll make sure not to kiss her face anymore.
Good Morning. i'm without a voice today, every morning, I wake up and have had a sore throat. Tihs morning, I sound like a man. Losing my voice. Don't know how i'll talk to kids when I'm this way.
I have a concern I'd like to get out here. My aunt, the mother of my cousin taht I do aerobics with --- aunt's name is Jane. She's got a cancerous lump in her breast. They found it at her mammogram on Monday. The whole family is scared, except her. She's happy, and isn't worried, because she says she's seen this all before in her friends. 4 managers where she works have had this -- coincidence? She works in the medical Records Dept of my hospital. She's in the board of Dir. and 4 managers have had the same thing? What's the conenction here? You go to the hospital to get well!!! Why are women getting sick? Just my worry I guess.
Anyway, they're removing the lump on Friday, and I went over to their house Tuesday night, and Lisa was crying, and I was talking to Jane. Jane was cool as a cucumber. She was consoling us, "it's okay, i'm fine.. dont worry!" I told her if she needs to fall apart, it's okay, and that we're all here if she does. Even though it's small, they're still gonna give her 5 months of radiation therapy at St. Joe's in Baltimore. Every day she has to go there. My heart is breaking for them... and for all of us, who love her. Pray taht this is isolated,a nd taht they get it all. She's gone through so much lately.
First: the 3 yr old that we threw the ham dinner for in November, she died last week,
Second: her high school friend, in her 40's had a massive heart attack the other day, went into a coma, and just died

Yesterday, I got so wrapped up in just getting through my day, that I atea quarter pounder combo. Stopped myself after I realized it was just outta habit... old habit. Threw the whole bag out the window of the car. Went to aerobics last night, Lisa stayed home. I just feel overwhelmed lately. And it's so cold out there, the dog hasn't been walked in days.
Noelle, I have been having the same problem with the site. I am sure that tax time for small business is not fun. I know what it is like for us here.
Angie it is ok if you only have one. Good to hear that the scale went down. I think I may have plateaued. I am stuck at the 7.5lbs mark. I am going to keep trying though.
Chris you have been through so much. I think that is exactly why you ate what you did. I get the same way. That does seem kind of werid about those women. I wonder if they are getting exsposed to anything.
Kempy, the scales will move for you soon, especially if you start to exercise(I read your journal). Don't tell me one piece of candy won't hurt. I need a kick in the ***. LOL One leads to 100 for me. haha.Just keep telling me NO NO NO...LOL
I have to start getting all of our things together for taxes too. I hate doing that!! All that work then I get hit up with a big tax bill!! OUCH!!! Especially since I have no money this year. and no snow so we don't have many people coming all the way up here to ski and snowmobile.
I know...I'm sorry. I know how in the spring 50 feels so awesome but in the fall it feels like I am going to freeze to death. LOL

Tonight our temp is going to be 20. I will be lighting the fire tonight. I know that for sure. I don't have to worry about cooking dinner b/c I will be having leftovers. The one thing I do have to get done is the kitchen. I hate to clean it so when Joe is away I am lazy. He will be home tomorrow so I will get it done tonight juts in case he beats me home. I doubt that, I get off at 2:30.
