Definitely not a date. No kiss goodnightor anything like that. But we walked into our respective houses and started chatting again on MSN...

And has anyone else found that losing weight has affected their drinking ability? I had a couple of pints. A drop in the ocean compared to what I used to be able to drink. But it got me bad. Still, I guess it wasn't in my system long enough for all those calories to have too much effect...

Hi
I only have one or two glasses of wine so I don't know about drinking ability. I do know that I had a glass of wine last Friday (not had any for yunks) and all I could taste was alcohol, yuck. I used to sit and happily sip my wine tasting all the blackberry and grapey-plum flavours and now nothing My tastebuds have changed so much.
Anyone else finding this has happened to them?

Goth girl, how is your hair?

I laughed about the hairy chap at the gym and can't wait to hear about the next 'not a date' date.

Well better go and do some housework.

He was nice, I had fun. He's not online at the moment though so I can't see if he's still talking to me or whether he's running in the opposite direction. Walking home he did ask if I wanted to go to the cricket next week though, so I'm taking that as a positive sign. Except now I'm talking like I wanted it to be a date. I don't know...

His car is outside his house though, so I thought he'd be in. (Note. I am not a stalker. I merely happened to drive past his house on my way home as he lives 12 doors down from me...)

Oh, and if anyone knows anything about cricket, can you let me know. I don't!

How many GB is it? I keep running out of room on my 4BG mini ipod. Not that I ever listen to all the stuff on it.

It is about 5 GB. I have nearly all my decent music on it and I have about 3 and a half G left! You can get 20GB Creative Zens, but they don't come in funky colours! He he!

Frus - I love my 5 GB Zen Micro and have found it has tons of room on it for all the stuff I listen to regularly. I'd be lost without it!

YP - your not-a-date guy sounds very sporty - if you hook up with him romantically it'll be good for your weight loss and fitness programme! Unless of course he just likes watching sport and drinking, in which case, not so good. Keep us all posted - we all seem to be pathetically desperate for some vicarious romance!

Oh I love cricket, is it a county game you're going to? Just a one day or part of a test?
It can be a bit like watching paint dry if you're not into it!!!! Basically you just clap politely a lot and sit in silence watching nice young men in white suits getting progressively more dirty as the day goes on! It's the only sport I am really interested in, I am a bit scared Oz are going to lose the ashes though!

Biggirl, I pm'ed you with the lasagne "guidelines" it's a very flexible recipe, which is a family creation, my mum used to make it every Christmas for my vegetarian sister.

I really need to get myself an MP3 player.

It's a 20-20 game, if I go. No word from him yesterday though, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Ach, YP, men are hopeless! He probably doesn't even realise you're reading some significance into his not being online yesterday. I'm sure you're worrying unnecessarily, and if he HAS gone into cyber-hiding he doesn't deserve you anyway!

Hope you have a better day today than you did yesterday - hit the gym and get rid of your frustration that way!
