Congrats to Posy and Tracy. See, even if the weight loss is modest or you maintain your clothes tell you you are on the way to losing!

Delaney 10-16-2002 04:30 AM

Stayed the same this week (stuck at 16.7) never mind that's given me the kick up the bum I need to get back on track!!

Well done all you losers

BritinNJ 10-16-2002 06:52 AM

PHEW! Stayed the same, even though I ate McDonalds at the weekend.
I can do this....especially for Santa!! There's some lovely Christmas clothes starting to appear in the shops now.....I'd like to buy a smaller size.

Smiling Sal 10-16-2002 06:04 PM

I only gained 2lbs this evening. Was very surprised after all the eating and drinking I did at the weekend. Taking into consideration that I weighed in after eating my lunch and dinner and all the fluid I drank during the afternoon. I normally weigh in before lunch, so taking that into consideration a 2lb gain is ok. And also the fact the moon is in capricorn - think I did OK. Only kidding about the moon bit

But 2lbs is 2lbs and I am determined they will be gone by next Tuesday lunchtime

flumper 10-17-2002 03:54 AM

another 4lbs gone this week .............woo hoo now i can go visit M I L and not mind when she delibrately offers me goodies
carol that 2lb gain was probably your lunch and not a true gain youll see next week , try and weigh before lunch might help

jingo 10-18-2002 04:10 PM

Not again

Ok one pound back on:( so back up to 11 stone 8 pounds.
Excuse! None too much eating if I'm honest. We had a pie for dinner and some nice but totaly bad sausage rolls 2 each.
Why? I fancied them and counting the cost so I am now going to re think things and make a fresh go at things.

 I am so mad at myself as I promised I would not do this. I do this too often start off ok and then slacken off. I get the wants not that I am hungry I just want things like chocolate, biscuits or a cake. I can go for ages without and then I am tempted and even though I can resist I do give in from time to time. Result! either sticking or gaining.
Then I get fed up and before long give up again but I really must do that this time. I have far to much at stake, my health. I am still waiting for an appointment with the dietician at the Dr's. Six weeks so far and still no word, o.k its not long realy I suppose but it is to me.
Any ideas on how I am going to stop this irritating wanting food when I do not need it and not even hungry? :(
I hope you all have a good weekend.
I am helping a neighbour out this week she is 89 and housebound her family are away so I am cooking her Sunday dinner. I may have problems but nothing like hers and here I am be moaning I am gaining weight again!

Mini Gem 10-19-2002 01:50 PM

When I weighed in on Tuesday I stayed the same.

Reason: eating a whole tub low fat ice cream one day, quite a bit of picking during the week, and a portion of chips. Oh my!

Been having horrible cravings due to cold weather and stress eating due to being very busy with uni work. Have been a bit better this week so far. :)

Posy 10-19-2002 09:21 PM

3lbs off for me this week...and a pair of size 14 trousers now hanging in my wardrobe...I am one happy bunny this week :)
I disciplined myself really well and made myself do my exercise routine before I left for work, it meant getting up an hour and a half early but a 3lb loss this week has made it all worthwhile and I will be doing it from now on.
Have a party to go to tomorrow so those size 14 trousers will be getting their first outing :)

Hope you all have a good weekend
hang in there everyone...we can do it

Ali

Against all the odds I lost again! 2lb last night.
Mind you at the beginning of the week I guess I had been pretty good. Towards the end though there had been a leaving do and I went to a noodle bar. I also went to a market and bought some crunchies and flakes (well, 4 for £1!! so I bought two lots!) I have had quite a lot of chocolate and crisps, plus staying at my frind who saboutages my diet (she even put mayo in my sandwich -I don't even like the stuff!)

Smiling Sal 10-22-2002 04:47 PM

No weigh in for me yet this week. Weather was too horrible to walk the mile to class at lunch time. Can't manage tomorrow night as Steve starts swimming lessons at 7:30 and Sean at 8. There is a class on Thursday evening and another one on Saturday morning. I need to get to one of them, I will get to one of them. I like this visiting other classes of WW

Delaney 10-23-2002 03:42 AM

A 1lb off for me this week Carol - now 16.6 - can't believe it after I was so bad at the w/end just goes to show how exercise and a couple of good days really helps.

Woo hoo Flumper - how did you get 4lb off??

Peacock 10-23-2002 04:00 AM

Thanks for keeping a tally Smiling Sal. We have probably lost a Kate Moss or Calista Flockhart so far......

tupperware queen 10-23-2002 04:19 AM
