It is good to see all the losses. Keep up the good work everyone.
I had a loss of 1.25 lbs this week. I went back and edited my original post.

OH..and there was a reporter AND a photographer there the whole meeting. They were observing and taking pics for an article next week to promote TOPS! I think it is great and hope that we can get some more members. Our biggest loser for the week at our local chapter lost 7 pounds!

I'd like to join the challenge.. I weighed myself last night and I weighed 168, since I'm just starting South Beach and the first 2 weeks are supposed to really TAKE IT OFF then I think it's realistic for me to think I could be down to 160 by Valentines Day... so that's my VDay challenge (plus me and my boyfriend are supposed to go to the beach for Valentine's day, what a reward!)

Sarah- I too am on South Beach phase One but only have 4 days to go, I have lost 6 pounds so far and just know that I will lose 2 more before it is done, so 8-10 pound loss in very doable Good luck, it is a great diet

Christie- Glad to have you here

I weigh in tonight ladies so I will report, I hope to stay in leeway but we will see how it goes, I had gained over 6 pounds from Thanksgiving and Christmas, and 4 Birthday parties, but have been on South Beach and have lost it all ( I think) we have a new scale at our club so we shall see if it is good to me

Another pound bites the dust! I've lost 5.5 so far since starting this challenge! I set my goal for 12 pounds...I can sooooo do it! I want to lose 20 by the end of March. I've been exercising and watching what I eat. I am so proud of myself!

Surprise, surprise ... I'm down almost five pounds since the start of this challenge.

Lately my life has been such a crazy mess (I bring on the 'crazy' part myself, by the way) that I'm surprised I'm able to pull off any weight loss efforts. Hopefully I can continue this momentum ... weight loss helps me deal with the bumps and bruises of daily life.

Cool I'm having a hard time this month

Jan 2 - 208.50 (up 6.25 from mid Dec)
Jan 9 - 209.00 (woops!) +0.50
Jan 16-206.75 (Hooray) - 2.25
Jan 23-208 +1.25
Jan 30 -
Feb 6-
Feb 13 -

I'm a little discouraged. I was having a lot more success during the last challange. Not sure what the problem is. I'm back to writing down my food and exercise in Fit Day, but the weight isn't coming off very well.

Maybe I'm underestimating my portion sizes. Will hang in there, though. Just did 45 minutes in the gym!

I have a few unexpected "NSV" (Non-Scale Victories) to report!

1. My underwear are too big. They bunch up above my pants around the waist.
2. My little row machine thing had a 300-pound weight limit restriction, and I didn't even realize that 11 pounds ago I was finally using it "legally"!
3. My "muffin top" doesn't show up as often (and, believe me, it's not nearly as small as the "muffin tops" in the link).
4. My face looks thinner.
5. I never knew saggy-butt pants could feel so good. Ha ha.
6. My BMI dropped about 4 percentage points since September.
