Our meeting was cancelled due to blowing snow, but I weighed in at home and lost 1 pound!

Hello everyone... Our meeting was cancelled last night. I am home sick besides the snow issue... I did weigh and am down but will wait til next week to post my weight... I am down a lot but when I start to feel better, it could change.... Barb

Thanks Lyn... Its several years old..think I have aged a bit since that was taken.... I am glad we didnt have the meeting last night... it was really bad out Chandras way... I hope everyone got the message in time... Talked to Cindy, she is having problems with the surgery, think I will give her another call possibly tomorrow nite, I stayed home today too, the cold is getting better, but an extra day home cant hurt..
Doing a lot better diet wise ***** sure does help, lol....

Hi India,
I have been reading all the posts and I think they are great! I think you should go for leader, I am starting a group in my town and I am going as the leader and I have never done anything like that but I am looking forward to doing it and hopefully I can make it loads of fun for everyone. I only started TOPS last month and I have lost 7.25 lbs so far.

(dont you just love the emoticons, hehe) Thank you for the vote of confidence.. I have belonged to Tops on and off for 5 yrs and kept quitting and going back... I decided to stay this time around .. and the group keeps me busy, I thought co leader would be easy... its a very active position...Keep us posted on the new group.... and congrats on the 7.5 lb loss for the month, that is really good.... I weighed in..down 1.5 pounds, which according to my plan on FitDay (time consuming at first, but great tool) is right on track for my goal. We had a small group tonight, and a fast meeting. I wish sometimes you could talk a little at meetings, like at other support groups..maybe share experiences/ encouragement difficulties?

Hard to walk this week..cold, snowy, icy, so I leave my coat in the car, and walk around the mall. I bought a step counter...and am aiming for my 10 000 steps per day. So far I am averaging 7300 per day. Oh well

Congrats to all , and those who gained..next week

Magoo... Ever consider doing a program.. and just talk about concerns.. ?? we have open forum now and then... we just discuss whatever ... ask your group what they think.. we try to make the meeting go about an hour, and before I close, I always ask if there is anyone who wants to share triumphs and challenges.... talk to the leader, s he may be open to suggestions.. Jan. 30 213.5.. (-5.6 pounds from my last weigh in where I showed a gain!!)
Feb. 6- 216.2 (up over a pound!)

Hi Belle... Havent seen you post in a long time. I dont know what happened at Christmas time, guess everyone is so busy with the holiday, the boards just got sidelined... Count me in.... I have a lot of work to do this year .....My weigh ins are on Mondays and we did vote to weigh in after the holidays but no meeting.. so I weigh in tomorrow nite. Starting weight of 238.. I have not set a goal though.... will do best I can!!!!

Jan 16.234...turtled .. I can live with that, I think my brakes are now
Jan 23...231..-3 finally... think I got it together
Jan 30...236...+5 I have no idea why I did this...
