How is everyone on this monday morning?!? I feel like i could sleep for a week, i had to work on saturday, so maybe thats why. So no weight loss for me this week, but no gain either. I had a really good night out on the town on saturday night, with quite a few drinks, and the obligatory feeding frenzy on the sunday - so to be fair i cant really grumble; in fact i should be thankful that the scales didnt shoot up!!

JasonsLea 12-04-2006 04:23 PM

Amanda, I bet he's a cutie!

Piggin, WOOOTTT for no gain!

akacutie2006 12-04-2006 07:09 PM

shari he is a real cutie... he has big bright blue eye's and blond curly hair...he's beautiful... he looks like a little angel... people often mistake him for a girl because he is so pretty =)

Well, this sunday on weigh in I lost 1 lb

I was happy with that, I had a big loss last week so I wasn't expecting to lose much this WI.

Piggin, Great job on Not gaining any weight ;) WHoooo HOO

JasonsLea 12-05-2006 03:51 PM

Awww! Great job Amanda! I'm there with you with a 1.4 lb loss this week.

Hey girlies!

My life has been very dramatic recently, and it has made me start bingeing again, and I couldnt bear the thought of ruining all my hard work so far.

Right im going to start keeping a food log, just to keep myself accountable, and Im going to set myself the challenge of keeping a food journal for the next 14 days starting today. Anyone want to join me?! I need to get moving to achieve my xmas goal of 30lbs lost!! I will post later today with my food journal.

akacutie2006 12-07-2006 09:37 PM

Piggin: Don't let the stress of life ruin your weight loss goals... I know how far you have come. We both started at the same weight and now we are both down about 25 lbs. Don’t give up now. I believe in you :D “You can do this!” :carrot:

Every time I start to slip up on my diet and exercising I look into my little book of quotes from weight watchers and read them to myself. It helps me to see that I am doing this for myself. Stress and problems that exist are just part of life and they are not going to stop me from succeeding. Here are a few of my favorite quotes.

" The greatest thing you have is the 24 hours you have in front of you. The past is gone, the future is distant. Today you can succeed. Set a goal you can achieve within the next 24 hours"

“When you want to give up, ask yourself: “What is the alternative?” When you realize that it’s gaining more and more weight and feeling worse and worse, you’ll get back on track”

“Time is going to pass whether you lose weight or not. Isn’t it wonderful if, as it passes, the pointer on the scale is going in the right direction?”

“Take time for yourself, be good to yourself and make your own dreams come true. Learn the value of your importance- recognize what you are worth. Accept the challenge- realize that a slip is not the end of your goals and dreams. Go with your Dream!”

“Be true to yourself. When you cheat constantly, you’re not hurting anyone but yourself. You’re not hurting your friends, or your family, just yourself”

I know you don’t really want to give up all the hard work you have put into losing the last 25 lbs. And I totally agree with you on keeping a food journal. I already keep one and I write down what I eat everyday. Sometimes when I binge I even write down how I am feeling, to help myself find out what triggers the overeating.

And yes I will join you on a 14 day challenge to do a food journal. We could even post them here everyday. Or maybe even start a new thread? I know I already keep a food journal but I would like to be there to help support you on your challenge.

Piggin, don't give up hun! You're doing so good!

Amanda, I have a WW quotes booklet too! I love it!

I will join you guys in the new challenge. Just point me in the right direction!

Ok I am here! There has been more stress, if thats possible!! My uncle had a heart attack this week also, hes only 48, pretty scary because you always think of those kind of people in your life as being completly indestructible. I cant wait for 2007, there has been too much sadness this year.
Anyway, a big deep breath and onto more cheerful things. Im starting my food dairy challenge this week, shall we start a new thread do you think or just post on here?!
Anyway, here is my day, im actually only just about to have my lunch, but this is what I have planned to have for lunch and supper:

Breakfast: 2 slices brown toast + marmite
Stewed rhubarb
Seafood sticks + cherry tomato sandwich (2 slices brown bread)
Steak and vegetables + salad

Exercise: 1 hour aqua-aerboics

Just weighin in - im half way to my xmas goal of losing another 4lbs by xmas. Im so happy the scales are moving again and I have some motivation back. I need to focus and work hard next week to shake off the other 2lbs in time for the wedding.

JasonsLea 12-16-2006 08:34 PM

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Guess what? I'm BACK ONLINE! We got the computer back yesterday and it's like freakin brand new!

pigginpodgey 12-20-2006 06:50 AM

Good to see you back JasonsLea!! Good to hear your computer is all better!!

This week has been ok diet wise, some bad choices, but not all out binging - so I should take that little victory and run with it! The diet killer for me around this time of year is alcohol, all the xmas parties and a glass of wine here and there all adds up!! So im going to do my best to limit the parties. I have to work a lot over the holidays, so hopefully that will help!!

truelies 12-20-2006 06:06 PM

Well I'm only 19 but still have over 100 lbs. to lose, do I still count? Might I just add, it's wonderful being obese in college.. outweighing all of your friends and boyfriend by atleast 120lbs!

teahoney 12-20-2006 06:12 PM

I'm 27 and have well over 100 pounds to lose.
