Hey Ladies,

I don't think I've been on since the summer. My weight loss (and exercise) has really slowed down. Thankfully I'm down a little since the last time I came on. I'm moving to Maine from NH soon so things have been very hectic also my husband is having some health issues that are being tested....ahhh! Can you say stressed?! I need to be held accountable again and I need to get more exercise in. I've been averaging a 30 minute walk 3 times a week. I need to do it everyday. I'm looking foward to keeping in touch with all of you again. :)

Welcome back on the wagon chrallen!!! Well done on yur weight loss so far, just keep going, dont let the stress ruin all your hard work so far!!!

I hope your husbands health issues get sorted soon.

chrallen 11-09-2006 05:02 PM

Thanks pigginpodgey! I'm glad to be back. I'm doing my best not to let the stress wreck my weight loss goals. We're waiting for results for my husbands tests... thanks for the well wishes. I've done fairly well with eating today and walked for 20 minutes so far.... How about you?

JasonsLea 11-09-2006 07:33 PM

Welcome back Chrallen!

How is everyone doing? I'm doing alright, been really crappy with eating and exercising and it showed on my last WI. I'm back up to 242. But I expected it so it doesn't bother me that much. Going back to the gym tomorrow morning since it is my day off and I'm not doing overtime.

ayla84 11-12-2006 12:18 AM

hey girlies! i can't believe i'm down 18 lbs. it has taken me a while, but i'm glad i'm still doing this. i think this is the longest i've stayed on track...i just hope i make it through Thanksgiving! I'm going to the gym tomorrow though. It's been a while. I gotta squeeze into a small black dress (or extra extra large black dress i should say) for a wedding next saturday.

good job everyone!

pigginpodgey 11-13-2006 09:44 AM

WTG ayla84!!!!! It can be hard to keep on plugging away, but keep on going!! Slow and steady wins the race!!

akacutie2006 11-14-2006 01:48 PM

hey girls,

Welcome Back chrallen :D

pigginpodgey: I know what you mean about the going to the Gym. I just hate going to my weight lifting class every week but afterwards I always feel great!!! Thats a great idea to set a weekly exercise goal. I should really start setting one for myself...

Shari: that too bad about the weight gain... I also had a bad WI this week... But don't let it get you down... Cheer up, you will lose the weight!! :carrot:

Great Job Alya !!! Whoooo HOOo Keep Going!!! :cheer2:

-----------------------------------------------------------
Well, I had a bad week and ended up not counting points for WW for 3 days.

I had this huge microbiology paper due on Mon. and I was so stressed out all weekend. I just couldn't stop eating. I guess I am not able to handle stress very well.... I always rush to the fridge and grab anything to eat as soon as I get stressed out :(

So I ended up gaining 0.5 lbs this week on my WI :(

But starting today I will get back on track... :) I know I can do this!!!

pigginpodgey 11-15-2006 06:38 AM

akacutie2006 - dont let one down moment ruin all your hard work, good for you for getting back on the wagon! It could have been so much worse, it could have been 4lbs you gained!!

I have struggled with my exercise this week, with TOM i just feel too sore and bloated to go, im going swimming tonight, so that will bring me up to 2 hours this week. Planning on an hours exercise on thursday too, and friday I have a cruise ship in port that I have to work, so im going to be running around all day - which will be exercise in itself i think!!

JasonsLea 11-19-2006 11:12 AM

Hi everyone! Congrats Ayla!

Soooo I went to the dentist last week to get some fillings and was told that I couldn't have anything but soup for the next twenty four hours. I did and after that, I haven't been as hunger and it shows: I'm down to 239! :carrot: TOM decided to show up on Friday but so far, I haven't been bingeing or anything. I slept all yesterday and woke up this morning without my alarm clock feeling great!

akacutie2006 11-26-2006 08:30 PM

Hey Girls :)

Well it's been two weeks since I last posted. Last sunday I gained another 1 lb and then this sunday WI I lost 5.5 lbs!!! Whooo Hooo!!!

So now I am down a total of 25 lbs for my 12 week weigh in!!

I am starting my new 12 week weight watchers food journal today. I am so happy that I have been able to stick to this diet. I did have a few rough weeks but Now I am back on track and ready to make my count down to New Years Goal.

Only 11 more pounds to go to Make My goal!!!!

pigginpodgey 11-27-2006 08:28 AM

Well done akacutie2006!! WTG on the great weight loss!! Oh Ive only just noticed that we started off the same weight, and are now the same weight!!!

I havent really set a final goal yet, ive never been slim so im not sure what my ideal weight will be, i would like to keep going until i fit into a UK size 14, so im not how much i will weigh then. I do find it very daunting about how much weight i still have to lose, so i have to take small baby steps!!!

My christmas goal is to lose another 4 lbs, and to maintain my weight over christmas, usually a bad time for me for putting on weight - stop buying me chocolate people, use your imagination!!!!!!! LOL!!!

akacutie2006 11-27-2006 02:18 PM

Thanks for the encouragement piggin :) !!!

pigginpodgey 11-27-2006 02:32 PM

I do a mixture of weight watchers and low fat, have you heard of the rosemary conley diet?! She is Uk based and does low fat diets, which do work for me the best it seems, but it is diffciult to stick to when your eating out and things because its so low fat. So i tend to do a mixture of them both!!

Ideally I would like to get down to 170 again, as that is the lowest weight i can remember being, so im aiming for 57lbs more to lose. Sigh. But **** i can do this!!!

Exercise is the key for me this time around, i think all the years of yo-yoing have made my body sulk and i have to put in quite a lot of exercise. Luckily i have an active job so that helps. At the moment I aim for 4 hours a week a mixture of gym and swimming. I also do quite a bit of walking.

Ive had a good day today eating wise, though i wont have time to exercise tonight!

JasonsLea 11-28-2006 02:32 PM

Hi everyone! OMG can you believe that it's basically December already?! Last night on the way home, I could see the people in my neighborhood starting to put up their outside Christmas decorations. Some people are already finished. We live in this nice upper middle class area and they love the holidays! I wish my mama was into decorating but alas...:( Do any of you all have any decorations up yet? If I had been able to get my apartment by now, I would have decorated. I guess that will be next year.

akacutie2006 12-01-2006 05:09 PM

No…I haven't heard of the Rosemary Conley diet but I’m going to go look it up on google in a few minutes. Low fat seems to work best for me too.

170 lbs is a good goal.... I would be happy as **** to weight that!!! You can DO IT!!!

I haven't been exercising a lot. I am taking a weight lifting class but it only meets once a week for two hours. I just set a new exercise goal for myself last week.

Which is to exercise at least two times a week (not including my weight lifting class as one of the times). So I think this will help me lose more weight?? But even with only working out once a week and doing weight watchers the weight is coming off.

I went grocery shopping today and hadn't eaten lunch yet. That's always a bad idea to go shopping when your super hungry. I ended up buying myself a big cinnamon roll covered with frosting from the deli... it was sooo goood but I wish I wouldn't of ate it :(

Now I feel guilty...like I cheated on my diet. I have no idea on how many weight watchers points it was? So I guess I will just count it as 15?? I don't know I'm sure it was a lot of points...

Shari: yeah I can't believe it is already December. I put up some Christmas light outside of my house just around my front porch and in my front windows but they look really good. I also put up my fake Christmas tree and all of my other Christmas decorations inside my house. My son is soooo excited about getting presents. And He loves the tree. He likes to sit under it. It's cute.
