Good morning ladies,
**Yawn, stretch *** My favorite day of the week - Friday - got here very quickly this week. I vote in favor of 3 day work weeks

Wednesday it rained most of the day. That not only washed the air but cooled it down considerably. So yesterday was an ahhhhhhh, delightful day. It was perfect for doing anything outside. Too bad I was stuck behind a computer for 10 hours. Then we had a homeowners meeting which ran for 2 hours. I got home rather late, caught DH up with the latest goings on and then went to bed. I had wanted to sit on the swing outside for a while but completely forgot about it.
This morning the nose is sniffling. I have the house closed up and the air conditioning on, but I guess those little pollen buggers drift right into the house. It's wierd how you can be fine for days on end and then you wake up one morning miserable. Good news is that a cup of tea and an antihistamine will fix it all. Everything should be that easy

I was in a rush yesterday to eat something before I had to run to my meeting so I dug one of my diet meals out of the freezer. I had a few left over from the Diet to Your Door Plan. This was a chicken breast stuffed with something and a nice tart cranberry sauce to go over it. Veggies were brocolli and a most delicious packet of roasted corn kernels with veggies. The meal was very good, it's a shame the darn program is so expensive. I had a beef chipolte chili which I offered to DH. When I got home he said he didn't think it was all that great - I thought it was surprising good. Better not offer him the black bean soup

I also pulled my copy of the 14 Superfoods - time to get back eating clean again. Ceejay, I apologize - I was going to send you something and in the rush of getting ready for my guests, I set it to the side and never mailed it. It's one my desk here somewhere, no doubt I will come across it this weekend when I dust and I will sent it out next week.
I didn't win the 57 million dollar lottery (forgot to buy a ticket) so I guess that means I have to get my act in gear here and get organized. I had a meeting yesterday and spent most of the day following up on some questions people had. I'm a little more behind than I was when I started back at work on Wednesday. Hard to focus on something that you don't want to do
Suzi, I don't envy you that long plane trip. I would have to get 2 Valiums - one for each way to ward off the claustrophobia - kind of like the "kitty downers" we used to give the cat on long car trips.

An IPOD loaded with lots and lots of your favorite music will help pass the time. I hope your hair comes out nicely - it is hard to find a good stylist. I know what you mean about the smells from other people's food. Back when I was riding the train, more and more people would bring food on the train with them, particularly as they added a food court to the station with lots of fast food take away options. It was really bad when someone would get a Greek Gyro - the smell of the raw onions was overpowering. It's amazing how quickly the air would get stale. We would glare at the offender but they were oblivious and would happily munch away.
How nice Shad to get the Satellite TV taken care of so quickly and efficiently. THAT doesn't happen too often.

So when you say you will visit in the spring - is that your spring or ours?
Ceejay - hope you got the mower going. I always hated the pull gadget on the mower. Being short, I never quite had enough arm swing to get the motor started.
Mel, hope you have a sunny, sniffle free day today. Did you get out and get your shopping done? What's on the meal plan for this week?
Hope you're feeling better too Madcat. Who's McKeith?
Work is summoning me so off I go. Hellos to the rest of the chicks.
