Crafters Incorporated

Okay . . . here we go . . . calling all Knitters, Quilters, Spinners, Crocheters, Sewers, Cross-stitchers, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera . . .

Everytime I check in on either the Knitters thread or the Quilters thread I bump into more 'cross-overs' and more new people with slightly different but similar interests. So I decided to take the 'cow by the horns' and open a place for us all to get together . . . not a new idea . . . it had been suggested in each of Knitters and Quilters already.

Hope you will all join me over here . . . I really hate talking to myself . . . besides people tend to give you really funny looks. :^:

la3y_un1c0rn_37 03-29-2006 10:02 AM

Here I am!!!!!!!!<waves hands running in late>

I need something to keep me going My April 1st goal is almost up...I need another thread to get happy over and this looks like it...

Ty for all the welcomes...

I have not started the bowtie quilt but have some great colors to work with..lol. I am crocheting now...I just made a blankey for my dog...lol he loves it...

I need to lose another 10lbs before May7th...I think that will be my next goal....

meowee 03-29-2006 05:31 PM

Hi La3y. So far it looks like it's just the two of us.

I picked up patterns and a couple of base fabrics to make quilted ponchos for my grandaughters; then came home and dug out 9 or 10 complimentary pieces from my stash. So, I'm on my way.

Hope more of the gang shows up soon. It's been pretty quiet all over today. Maybe people are out enjoying good weather and shaking loose some of the 'cabin-fever-cobwebs'.

See you soon. :carrot:

Marie 03-29-2006 07:46 PM

Hi all, I joined the knitter's group but that seems to have faded. I definitely fit in this category better. I machine knit, quilt, stained glass, pencil drawing and whatever else passes by. I'm definitely crafty.

La3y, good luck on your goal. For my anniversary, you lose 10 pounds. I'd join you but I banished my scale to the guest bathroom. I'd been addicted to it and decided to use my clothes as markers. First goal is for my current jeans to fit comfy (in my book that is baggy). The second goal is the jeans in my closet that don't fit. So far I'm doing pretty good on my way to the comfy - they're no longer pinching off blood flow to my legs. That's definitely a good step.

Meowee, thanks for combining the threads. I know I like it.
TTYL.
Marie

Hi Ladies!...I'm here too!!...It's been a very depressing day for me:( after a gain on Monday and then today was my WW weigh-in and I'm up another 3.:yikes: I hate AF!! I've never had a problem retaining water before, but I fell so bloated and still miserable! It's not fair when I have been good and did not cheat this week. Good thing, is I know it will evenually go back down, but I want it NOW!!

Linda...Great idea to combine the two threads. I spent the morning sewing down the appliques on my quilt till I had to leave for WW. Had lunch at Applebee's where I had a WW meal. The weather has been beautiful the last couple of days. Went for a walk with my friend yesterday. We are going to start walking everyday.

Have a good evening. Hugs to you all.

Hiya! I'm here too! I don't do quilting, but I cross stich and do tapestry and petit point! I haven't really had to much time lately with my 2 year old running around so maybe I can live vicariously through this thread until I get a chance to do it! lol!!

My mom has an old knitting machine! It's in a million peices though:o Wouldn't know where to take it to get it working again and we don't have any patterns left. I should look into that.....

I'm here! I love to hear about all kinds of crafts, so this is great! No time for crafting this week, I was taking my diamond test fot a little gemology class I'm taking. We run a rock shop, so I'm trying catch up with my husband so I can help with customers more. It's sad to be selling a tool and all you know it that it comes in a white box :o

I hope I can start on my next jacket this weekend. Making one for my mother in law for her birthday that was last week! oh well.. she won't mind it being late. Only thing is, she's an alterationist.. I'm a little nervous about sewing for her! The jacket's going to have a sewing them.. some of the fabric and I got the cutest little wooden spools I'm going to paint to look like thread is on it.

This is more art then craft related, but I got contacted by a national print company (they do prints for hotels and restaurants and such) I sent them some paintings on cd..now I am waiting to hear back. I'm on pins and needles (fits the theme!) Keep your fingers crossed for me...we sure could use the extra income :)

Cheryl - I would love to have a friend to walk with. I had one in VA, and it made the time go so much faster!

BuiltLikeMyCorgi 03-30-2006 02:47 AM

Hello everyone,

I'm new here so hope you don't mind if I join you. I'm a crafter too. I make candles, soap, toiletries and also sew enough to make primitive dolls. My latest 'craze' is punch needle. All these things keep me from eating most of the time, tho not always. Have been known to jam something into my mouth even when both hands are busy ;)

Ooops, almost forgot to say my name is Dianne...
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

ArtsyGirl 03-30-2006 07:52 AM

Got room for another? I have a small jewelry business. I do needle beadweaving (off loom), wirework, and fused glass jewelry for the business. I also enjoy painting, knitting, and polymer clay. I teach beadweaving classes at 2 local beadshops.

I've also found that crafting keeps me from eating out of boredom. What a great side effect!

ejm-Congrats on the art print possibility!!! That is so cool.

Cheryl120 03-30-2006 08:22 AM

Good Morning Everyone!

I would say rise and shine it's a beautiful day, but that's not the case here. Got woke up at 3:30 am by a nasty thunderstorm. Boy the wind was a blowing, lightening and the hail. Now it is raining, which we need, but it makes for a very muddy walk for me today, unless I decide to work out in the house again. :carrot:

:welcome: Wide,Cyn,Dianne and Brandy. Looks like we have the start of a great group of talented women.

Dianne...I use to do Japanese Bunka which is similar to punch needle. I learned to do it when we lived in Okinawa and made many pictures. Would do it now, but it is very hard to find the stuff.

I also do counted cross stitch, crochet, garment sewing, machine embroidery and of course my passion is quilting.

Hope you ladies have a great day. Time for me to exercise, eat breakfast so I can go up and work on my quilt. Here's a little :dust: to help us through our day.

Cheryl

Cheryl120 03-30-2006 08:40 AM

Marie...Did'nt mean to overlook you. Here's a big :welcome2: to you as well. I was reading your profile and see where you live in Klamath Falls. I was born and raised in Ashland. Lived there till I got married and moved away. Still have family there. My husband graduated from Klamath High. We are hoping to move back to Oregon in about 5 years.

Ejm....Yes! It's nice to have a friend to walk with. We motivate each other. I just wish she lived next door so to speak. My closes neighbor is a mile away. I drive 6 miles to Leanne's house so we can walk on the blacktop, rather than walk on my gravel road. With spring finally here, the farmers are going to be out and I hate having to eat dust and getting hit by gravel. Besides, it's much easier walking on the blacktop rather than gravel.

Cheryl

meowee 03-30-2006 09:17 AM

:welcome3: to everybody . . .

Wowee, wowee, wow, wow . . . just look at all the different crafts we are collecting in here. . . we are all going to learn so much. I know I love to try new stuff and I think most crafters feel the same way. Sure, we have our favourites, but there's always room for something new.

Marie . . . I've always wanted to try stained glass work but I'm kind of afraid I'd cut myself to shreds. I'm dangerous around glass. I even use mostly plastic drinking glasses. :o I've been promising myself I'd compromise by doing a stained glass quilt but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Yep, those scales can be almost as addictive as chocolate - and crafting. ;)

Cheryl . . . Funny how we turn up in so many of the same places. An instant, miracle cure for overweight would indeed be most welcome. Until one comes along I guess we'll just have to keep plugging along the slow way. :dizzy: Sorry your weather is letting you down today. Have you done stained glass quilting?

Wide . . . Looks like we'll just have to find something you can do with a little one . . . simple stuffed animal toys, maybe? I love machine knitting, especially for kids. You can whip up stuff so quickly, you don't mind that it will be outgrown in the blink of an eye.

Cyn . . . What are you working on at the moment? What new craft would you like to try next?

Ejm . . . Just look at what you started, girl. Bet we'll have every craft known to woman-kind represented in here before long. Gemology sounds fascinating. Got my :crossed: that we'll soon be seeing your artwork in all the best hotels.

Dianne . . . Love your forum name. I've done a little candle making (both beeswax and the melted and poured kind) and I've wanted to try soapmaking. Will be looking forward to hearing more. ;)

Brandy . . . Lots of room. Definitely one of those 'the more the merrier' kind of places we've got going here. I've done a little beginner-level beadworking and loved it. Nothing at your level of course, but your success might just inspire a lot of us to try some more intricate stuff.

Still planning out the quilted ponchos. Think I might just do random width stripes of the different fabrics mitered at the centre front and centre back points and then applique some random flowers and hearts and maybe butterflies on top. The patterns were just to get the basic size and shape for the finished pieces. I'll cut the backing using the pattern. (if I can keep my cats from destroying the tissue)

Have a great day, gang. See you all soon. Keep the hands busy. :carrot:

la3y_un1c0rn_37 03-30-2006 09:27 AM

Marie:I have a big motorcycle ride on May 7th thats why I need to lose the 10lbs is that your annv.? If so I will be glad to lose the 10lbs for you....lol

I have not done the quilting in awile.I have been looking into something for my little girl to get into. she is only 9 and loves to make stuff. She has made some stuff I want something more for her to do. Anyone got something?

meowee 03-30-2006 09:32 AM

La3Y . . . how about plastic canvas . . . my 10 year-old granddaughter loves it . . . which is quite amazing since she is really quite a tom-boy, sports-nut, type of kid.

la3y_un1c0rn_37 03-30-2006 10:10 AM

Sounds great I have not though of that yet...I will look this weekend. ty

Wide in Winnipeg 03-30-2006 03:35 PM

Hi all!

I've been known to do some candle making(with kits),embroidery, paper toll, jewellry making and some bead work. I am hoping my grandma will teach me how to do the beadwork on moccasins and such when I go to see her,I think that would be cool!!

I am saving p to take lessons on how to make lace the old fashioned way not crocheted(sp?) you know when there is a million threads and you have to weave then together to make a tiny piece of lace......very cool:cool:

Marie 03-30-2006 03:47 PM

Wow wide. That would be so time consuming. I'm an instant gradification type of person - hence the knitting machine. I like results quickly!!! I finished the baby blanket I started for DGS and it turned out beautiful. The yarn was a mohair-like that made the blanket a little fuzzy.

I'm going to work on a drawing later today. I found one of the rare pictures of a husky we briefly had that my DS loved. Bugsy was a good dog, but hated our neighbor. To make sure we didn't get sued, we brought her back to the Humane Society and supported her till she was adopted again. Well, anyway, there are very few pictures of her. I found one and decided to draw her fro my son who is away at tech school (just finished basic training). He was really excited when I told him. So I'm going to work on that this afternoon.

Well Crafty Chickeis, I will chat with you all later,
Marie

Hi Ladies,

Linda...Yes I have done a stain glass quilt. It was a wall hanging/banner that I did for my church. It was a cross with lilies. I mostly like to do piece quilting. Today I finished up doing the applique on my quilt. Tomorrow I need to make lots of sawtooth blocks for a boarder.

It rained most of the day, but we were in the 50's. Isn't Spring Grand!! Hope the weather improves before the weekend get here.:D I was finally done a couple of pounds this morning, but won't believe anything till my Wednesday weigh-in.

Have a good one ladies.

Cheryl

I got the pattern at a craft show..and 3rd trying to learn to make a granny square in crochet. A friend of mine is showing me. I was suppose to learn how to make em so when I visited my granny at her nursing home, I could work on it..unfortunatley she passed away Feb 23rd. I am having a really really hard time..she raised me shes like my mom..soooo when I get the hang of it...I am making a small afgahn in her honor. I know that she is looking down on me and is proud.

Hi again everyone!

Thank you for the warm welcome! :hug:I love crafters - we are always so enthusiastic aren't we? Hopefully I can put that same enthusiasm to losing weight as I do to crafting!

I don't think I mentioned it before but I am in Australia so all my posts will be a little later than the rest of you. I am an American tho, LOL. Anyway, right now for me it is Friday night at 10:41 pm and I see by my USA clock that it is about 7:15 Eastern time for you all, Friday morning.

I didn't do so hot on my diet today. Had to go to the dentist and was only able to eat something soft for dinner, so ended up eating two bowls of oatmeal. I'm pretty sure that's a no no, LOL :nono:

The weather is nice and cool here now. It is autumn in Australia so I can finally get out to walk a bit. I'm going to go walk around the running track. I thought I'd like walking up and down the neighborhood but I feel funny and on display. The track is somewhat remote and I think I'll be more comfortable there.

Am still trying to decide on a diet - what all are you girls doing diet-wise? I am at a loss. I can't do WW because it's too expensive for me to go to the meetings (which are $20 a pop, plus about $50 to join). I did Atkins once and had good weightloss but I gained it all back right away and besides, I really missed my fruit.

Sad to say I did both WW and Atkins in America when I weighed about 30 lbs less than I do now, so I REALLY need to get on the ball and get this off and keep it off.

Any hints for a 53 year old, 5'4 3/4", 186 lb woman who's always been sedentary and can't even swim?

Ok - best of luck to you all today! And if you have any suggestions I sure appreciate it!
Hugs, Di

Dear azcyn,

I am so sorry to hear about your Grandma. I know exactly how you feel lovey. My Grandma raised me for the first 7 years of my life and I was always her special baby til the day I lost her. I was 35 then and am 53 now and I still cry over the loss and miss her every day.

Yes, your Granny is looking down at you now and so proud of you. Try to hang in there honey, it does get easier to bear but I know right now it's really tough for you. Here's a big hug for you

Hi Cheryl,

The lady who I buy alot of my punch needle things from started out with Bunka. She doesn't do the punch needle herself but is a wonderful Bunka artist. She is in New Zealand but she ships Bunka supplies overseas all the time. A lovely lady. Her website is www.ginnyscushions.co.nz If you go there remember that her prices are all in New Zealand dollars so the US equivalent is alot less (probably something like you would pay 60 cents on the NZ dollar or maybe even less.

Thank you for the magic dust - I can use all the help I can get, LOL

Good Morning from Atlantic Canada . . . sunny and mild again today, but I know there is at least one more snowstorm lurking out there somewhere.

Cheryl . . . Congrats on getting rid of some of that water weight already. Yep, I would have bet money that you had made at least one stained-glass quilt. :D

Azcyn . . . so sorry your granny won't be able to see your accomplishment but she will know that you have made a granny-square in her honour. BTW, I think granny squares are just about the most wonderful crochet project ever. You can turn them into almost anything. and you can make them in almost any size and shape (they don't have to be square).

Hi again, Wendy.

Di . . . Autumn is my favourite season. If I was rich (instead of just beautiful ;) ), I'd follow Autumn around the world so I could live in it all the time.

You could do a lot worse that oatmeal, girl, it is a perfectly wonderful and healthy food. Basically, you can follow just about any plan that suits you. Bottom line is that calories in must be less than calories out and how you get there is just a matter of personal preference. I'm diabetic so I have to keep an eye on my carb consumption, so I more or less follow the guidelines from the CDA (Canadian Diabetes Association) and then enter everything into an excel program I wrote myself that keeps track of everything to do with my disease including my calories. In other words, you have to find something you are comfy with and then stick to it. And sticking to it is easier when you've got a little help from all your friends here at 3FC.

Well, I've got to get a move on. Doctors' appointment this morning. See you soon, gang. Keep doing the good stuff and the rewards will follow. :carrot:

Cheryl120 03-31-2006 08:09 AM

Good Morning Ladies,:D

Cyn...So sorry about your loss. I lost my Grandmother a couple of years ago and miss her so much. She was a wonderful, loving woman that raised 7 children, had 23 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. She was never too busy for any of us, and made an afagan for each of us before she passed.

Di...I'm doing Weight Watchers. Right now it is free registration and $11.00 a week. You can also do it on line for less and get support from us. Thanks for the link to purchase Bunka. I'll be checking it out.

Well March is not going out like a lamb. it roaring out like a LION. I can't believe that I had a couple days of nice spring weather and I woke up to blowing wind and sleet! But, I live in North Dakota, where the weather changes every 15 minutes.

Well ladies, make it good one. I'm off to fix myself something to eat and get started on some housework, so I can go sew later on.

 to you all,

Cheryl

la3y_un1c0rn_37 03-31-2006 09:25 AM

Hey everyone I am going shopping this weekend to look for some new things to do...I went out yesterday and took the kids to the park I walked. they played I even raced the kids twice...lol They won both times.
Things I am going to do this weekend(I post this here cause I will not be able to get online untill Monday)

I will eat right
I will walk 2miles on Saturday(Sunday is my day off)
I will work on my weights!!!

I hope all of you are well....and have a great weekend!!!

Marie 03-31-2006 10:58 AM

Morning everyone, looks like everyone i busy with their crafts. I finished the baby blanket yesterday for DGS and it's very pretty. Then I fought with computers for quite a while. Once the laptop was rebuilt and needed drivers installed, I started on a drawing for my son. It's turning out beautifully. I love to draw. I'd always wanted to learn how but I thought I had no talent. Last fall I took a drawing class and just love it. Mostly I draw my doggies. It's pretty cool. I also need to get back to a sweater I'm knitting for my sister's birthday. When I started I had plenty of time, now her birthdya is approaching and I'm not making progress. So I'll work on that this weekend.

I got up and walked 3 miles this morning. I love spring break. I'm done exercising for the day and it's not even 8 in the morning. Unfortunately all good things must end and I have to return to work on Tuesday. :(

FYI, I'm working on the less calories in more calories expended diet plan with smaller portions. I'm choosing healthy foods for a healthy body. So far, so good.

Marie

Good evening for you all in the northern hemisphere!

It's 3:30 pm Saturday for me and a little after midnight for the east coast of the US Friday.

Today I slept in. I am an insomniac and didn't get to sleep til daybreak. Unhappily, I've just learned that people who sleep less than 5 hours a night are 70% more likely to be overweight. :(

I had 1/3 cup of Rice Crispies and 1/3 cup of whole milk (must get some skim or 2%) for breakfast. Then I did 10 knee lunges on each leg, and holding a 1 kg (2.2 lbs) bag of rock salt, I did 20 arm curls, and also lifted them out to the side, shoulder high, 20 times. I found myself holding my breath! As soon as I realized I was doing it, I'd breath and it got easier to do the exercises. Don't know why I hold my breath, but I have to work on that!

Am going to take a walk if the rain lets up.... And it's chicken stir fry for supper tonight. I'm splitting 1/2 breast between the two of us and having lots of veggies on a small bed of rice. Will have watermelon for dessert. Was reading that watermelon has more Vitamin B in it than any other kind of fruit.

Meowee
Thanks for the encouragment and the info on the oatmeal, that's good to know! I'll try to lay my hands on a calorie burner chart or something that tells me how many calories are burned doing certain exercises. I did buy a low fat book from the grocery store yesterday, with recipes in it. Hope your doctor's appt. went well!

Cheryl Thanks for the reminder that WW does the online thing. I'll have to go scope it out and see what's up with that these days. If I sign up it will have to be with the American one, because the food for the Aussies is totally different (things like meatpies and sausage rolls, and I don't like the traditional Australian foods). Hang in there, the warm weather will hit ND sooner or later :)

Marie Speaking of making something for a sister's birthday, I am too. Unhappily it's not finished and her birthday is today and she's half a world away. I guess it'll be pretty late, LOL. It's a punch needle project of a crow on an apple - sort of primitive folk art. She's a teacher and I thought the apple was apt.

La3y Good on ya getting out there running with the kids. That would kill me at this stage but what a great work out for you! And fun too!

A big hello to everyone else too. Am off to look up info on exercising and to find some good recipes! (hubby has a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips I am trying to stay away from....oh the agony of it, LOL!)

Di

Sweet Dreams, Di and Good Morning to everyone else . . . once again the sun has risen on the east coast of North America . . . and it looks like it will be another gorgeous day here in Atlantic Canada. Hope the weather fairy is good to everyone else, too. :grouphug:

Got the batting (went with acrylic needlepunch because it is low-loft and light) for the ponchos for my granddaughters and, of course, another few bits of fabric that will blend in nicely . . . a quilter can never have too much fabric. :D So, after I get a few chores out of the way, I plan to actually get them started. ;)

Started new April threads for some of the 3FC forums I post in regularly but since we really just got started I think we can wait for May before we need a new one.

Anyway, feels like it's breakfast time. Keep moving and shaking and crafting. :carrot: I'll see you all a little later.

Marie 04-01-2006 03:56 PM

Hi all, just procrastinating in front of the computer. I do that a lot lately. Today, I'm going to get part of the sweater done for my sister. That's my goal. Tomorrow I'm going to draw. I'm thinking some stained glass should be tossed in there somewhere. I did all my chores so I have the afternoon to play. YEAH!!

I highlighted my hair this morning and it looks cute and sunny. Drab, dark blonde is gone till next winter. Now if the weather would stop snowing and let spring poke into the desert, I'd sure appreciate it. :)

Have a great day!!!
Marie

Cheryl120 04-02-2006 10:30 AM

Good Morning ladies,

Sounds like everyone is doing great. I have finally gotten rid of the 4 pounds I gained when TOM paid a visit. Hope to get out and take a walk this afternoon if it get's up to 40 degrees and only a light breeze. My knee just can't stand a cold wind...stiffens right up! I did buy some MOVE IT yesterday, hope it helps limber up my joints.

Went to Fargo yesterday to do our montly shopping. Gals, you wouldn't believe what my DH did? He bought me the sewing machine I've been drooling over for the last couple of years. It's my birthday, mother's day, anniversery and christmas gift for probably the next 5 years. LOL Anyway, it's the Brother Innovis 4000D Sewing/Embroidery machine. Usually sell for $8000.00, but we walked in at the right time and got it for $5600.00. I'm going to LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Really going to have to get started and get some things made to put on ebay.

Well I better go for now, but will try to check back later.

Cheryl

Marie 04-02-2006 12:21 PM

Oh Cheryl, congrats!!!!! Wow, that is fabulous!!! Hope you gave DH a big kiss.

My mom as an embroidery machine as well as her fancy sewing machine. I figure the only way I'll get one is through her will. :) You are so lucky!!!

I knitted the back of the sweater yesterday and made most of the front fight side this morning. I love how fast the knitting machine it.

Well, have a great Sunday.
Marie

Looks like April is trying to be April . . . windy, chilly, and raining today. :^: Oh well, I guess the sun needs a day off once in a while. ;)

Nothing too much going on around here but it definitely seems to be keeping me busy. I got the major pieces for the poncho project cut out, and ripped up the random-width strips. (I like to rip cottons unless a perfect seam width is mandatory; helps work out stress, too.) :D I remember my exhusband once saying that it seemed pretty stupid to him to cut up all this perfectly fine fabric just so you could put it all back together again. He obviously didn't get it. I did say "exhusband" didn't I. :D

Anyway, gang, have a great rest of the weekend. Keep on moving and shaking and heading in the right direction. :carrot:

Good Morning . . . I think it's morning, anyway. It's kind of cold and dull in Atlantic Canada this morning. The change to DST is catching up to me . . . it always takes me a little while to adjust to the time change and I'm even worse in the Fall when we go back to ST. :o I would personally love to have the same time (ST or DST, I don't really care which) all year long. :D

Anyway, I think I need a nap, or something, and I only got up about 3 hours ago. :dizzy:

Have a great day, gang. Keep moving and shaking and heading in the right direction. :carrot:

Meowee, the time change is definitely screwing me up too. I told DH I want one of he other and to never change again and he had a great idea - how about halfway between the two. :) Silly, but sounds good to me. Today is my last day of spring break. I'm sort of bummed about it but am trying to get chipper about doing crafts. I finished my husky's drawing yesterday and knitted for a while. I have to find a new drawing project so that I have variety.

Hi Everyone,

I had a really good day yesterday. got up early and got my exercising in with Richard and the gang. Made good food choices and kept within my points, hope it shows on the scale tomorrow when I weigh.:D

Worked on my quilt yesterday and got all the of the applique's sewed down and the first boarder on. Today I have to cut out lots of 3" squares to make more sawtooth blocks and also clean my sewing room up. Got fabric scrapes and thread everywhere, and it just clings to the carpet. Would so love to rip the carpet out and put down a hardwood floor. I am getting ready in the next month or so to paint my sewing room. I just hate the thought of having to take everything out of the room to do it. Going to paint it a sunny yellow with a wallpaper boarder to go up. The wallpaper is cats with quilts in a covered wagon.

It's going to be a beautiful day and 60, so I'm going out for a long walk and enjoy all the birds that are back. We have fields of Snow Geese, Canandian geese and ducks.

Make it a good one.

Cheryl

Good Morning . . . the sun is out and I know what time it is. :D Other than that, nothing is terribly exciting. I've been doing the right stuff for the past couple of days and we'll see what Mr. scale- thinks tomorrow.

Got the first panel of the larger poncho done yesterday and I think I'll like it when it's done . . . A little hard to tell until I get another panel added so I can see how the centre mitre is going to work out. It may be a little slow going, though, since I got one of those "please do a special project for us" calls from the office this morning. Someday, I hope I'll really get to retire completely. I know, I could say no, but I never do. :)

Anyway, gang, keep moving and shaking and heading in the downward direction and I'll see you soon. :carrot:
