You guys are awesome! I'm a little scared of needles (still cringe at my allergy shots every week) so no tattoos for me in the foreseeable future. I was able to get my belly ring back in by myself at the beginning of the month. It got a little painful when I was at my biggest, so it had been out for about 2 1/2 years. I'm loving having it back!

misty-mousakka is a middle eastern dish kinda like a lasagna but eggplant instead of noodles, middle eastern spices, and usually lamb (mine will be lean ground beef) Really good, but I've never tried to make one before. I might be in over my head LOL!!

Everyone seems so cheery in their posts today. I think spring fever has hit. My bike ride was WONDERFUL!!!! Such a pretty day and not much traffice. The only bad thing was the newly spread gravel on the dirt roads (a little over half my ride) made things a bit bumpy and harsh on my tush!!! It was still pretty fun.

Off to shower and see what I need to do in the kitchen. Wish me luck!!!

I have my belly pierced too! I kept the ring in until I was 8 months preggers! then it started catching on things lol!! Unfortunatly I have some streach marks around it now,but I have the ring back in and the streach marks have faded so it doesn't look that horrible! My loser ex hated the belly ring! So I put it back in ASAP! What a B****! HEHEHEE! Not really,I just don't let other people tell me what to do with my own body!!

Yes it did hurt to get it done, for me anyway! I tell people that I would rather have 10 tattoos done at the same time than to do that again But most people say it doesn't hurt!!

Sassy: Good choice on that salad!! Catalina dressing...yum!

Brandy-Piercings hurt me more than my tattoo did!! But they're just not for everybody. Glad you had a good bike ride and good luck on that mousssaka. tell us how it went

Wendy-I like that one on your shoulder. I want to get one their myself. I'll try to post mine. Let's see if I am successful.

I don't think anyone is ever too old do any piercing, tattoooing, etc. hey, if it floats your boat and makes you feel good about yourself...then do it!!

OK, mousakka is assembled and ready to go in the oven. More steps than most of what I choose to cook, but not terrible.

My bike ride was 8.25 miles!! I would have kept going, but needed to get some things done here at home, and the way it worked out, my new TurboJam dvd's arrived here shortly after I did and I couldn't resist trying one of them out!

My belly ring didn't hurt either time, but my nose ring was PAINFUL!!!! I actually had tears spring to my eyes when she did it! I couln't believe how much it hurt! Who knows, maybe between you guys and my sis, I'll get a tat someday.

Rosario and Wendy-Very cool! Rosario what is your symbol? It seems like I've seen it before, but can't place it. Wendy, I've made jewelry using the ankh?? from the center of your arm tat. Obviously I'm a fan.

I made that dish but just called it low-carb lasagna, cept no middle eastern spices - maybe that would have been better as mine turned out pretty blan.

Let us know how it turns out

wow....a very busy day!!! Everyone talking about tattoo's and such. Well I'm back......not sure how it turned out. My picture was a nice cluster of flowers with a group of butterflies. The colours were pinks, turquoise blue, teal green, and a plum. Nice huh? .....the picture showed a yellow butterfly and we talked about changing it to a pink because I DIDN'T LIKE YELLOW. So he says we are done, and I do check from time to time on the colour but its hard to peer down over your shoulder to the top of your arm without moving and getting too dizzy(out of focus) So I hold up the mirror.....and almost everything HAS A CENTER OF YELLOW!!! uh hello? he then says, he doesn't use much white in the centers as it doesn't last. uh hello? that would have been good to tell me BEFORE!!! So he changed as much as he could, and I do like it, but it really doesn't look like the picture AT ALL. I may go back for a touch up in a few days and see what's what. For all of you curious....it feels like many razor cuts while you're shaving your legs. If you can do 5 minutes, you can last for the duration. Mine today was 1.5 hours, but was longer because of the YELLOW SITUATION!!!
