Thank you Red for a welcome, and yes I am very glad to be back.
So far so good, Breakfast at the right proportion, sipping on water and getting ready to have the first snack.
If all well by wednesday I can call my trainer and have a meeting with him.
I've had only 1 out of 5 so far, just because life has been super busy, but what can one do.... Next few weeks are no less demanding, so I must learn to deal with it.
btw, everyone even two of my ex-es noticed and complimented me on this weight loss, and one of them is the toughest critic, so hearing from him made me very happy and wanting to do.
I will be reading back tonight, and will be happy to comment and so forth...
Hang in there, everything even TOm will pass....

Hello everyone So good to hear from everyone.

Welcome back to Sushi (glad you had a good trip ) and Cbeta (Congrats on the positive ex comments )

Caro, I hear you on rather keeping the soda. I have done a 21 day no soda challenge, and for the most part don't drink it. But, there are some times when I just feel the need to be "bad" and splurge on something, and I would much rather it be a soda, than a bag of something . I do drink diet though. Was raised on Tab and Fresca. I also agree with you on the importance of this site. I don't know what I would do without it.

Marble - I am SO sorry to hear about your dog. I know how hard it is to lose a furry member of the family

Red - yes, I finished my menu challenge. I have now upgraded to a new one. Just keep plugging away at it.

Day 1 - do ab work, follow menu (under 2000) and no - all three challenges met. I was at a computer training all day, with a coworker, near where I used to live. We are both trying to watch what we eat, so we had chosen a healthier fast food restaurant. I had even went on line, and figured out what I could safely have. Then, I started craving a restaurant I used to go to. Nothing healthy about this place, and as it was a buffet, no way I would have left there without hating myself in the morning. I managed to make the right decision, and stick with the first choice place.

Well, I think I need to take the hounds out, then get some sleep. Still very sleep deprived from the weekend. Have a great night all

Hello, I'm still out here....
I made a bet with my husband that I would lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I hope I can do it or I will PAY!!!! So I'll be posting daily and really working on this. My "old" challenges have fallen to the wayside, and not quite sure what my new ones will be. I might post later tonight, after I have mulled it over.
Welcome back, CBETA!
Thanks for the pep talk, Red!!
Hi Jolly and Curly and everyone else!!!
Oh, Jolly, I wasn't quite sure either about your challenges. Are they done? Balloon time? ????

Awwwww Red, you are so thoughtful! LOL you have NO idea how much I need those cheers today!! I DO want to do this... and I want to stick with the plan... I just want it to start SHOWING and for people to start noticing. LOL I keep telling myself that is just being selfish and this is MY job to get this weight off. Still, it would be nice to have affirmation that it is working LOL. Thanks to you and everyone here for lending your support!

Ouch Day2 of my gym challenge is a miss.
I waited in line to my taxes an a present for my parent's 30th Wedding Anniversary, then stopped at JC Penney for a while and bought 2 interview suits - I am looking for a new job. As I walked out of the store it was almost 9, ran grocery shopping cooked dinner by 10:20, still too late, and pass the time that I should be eating, which is like 8pm no later.
I've taken a pause day on the gym, because i ran out of time. Well the truth is if anything i will have to restart this challenge all over. I just need to get myself into previous gear, I am getting loose...

marble -- I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. I know how much you miss him. You are right, he is no longer in pain and is surely looking down on you with love.

Let me try to get back to you all tomorrow sometime....please take care, Misti, jolly, Apple, Caro, CB, and all our other members. I must get some shut-eye.

Good morning Everyone!

Well I did good lastnight (no munching!) so day 2 today I even got my butt on the floor and did 40 crunches. Don`t know where that came from, I just did it. I must be picking it up from you guys!

This is not going to be like the first 40 pounds, those just melted off (I did work hard for it). This time I`m not working so hard and I guess I still thought the pounds would melt off. Not gonna happen! Time for me to get serious and make some changes or this just won`t happen by my goal date, or won`t happen ever!

(I want to lose 27 pounds by July 4th. Gives me about 2.3 a week to lose.)

Anyway, I`m off to do some shopping. A dieting girl cant live off of ice cream and coke! I SO have missed one part of my workouts...bellydancing...so I`m planning that tonight. Maybe some strength training, I kinda miss that too. (notice I`m avoiding the elliptical at all costs, lol )

Congrats to those who finished their challenges!!! I`ll be back later on to chat more. If I dont get some healthier food in here fast the junk will end up in my mouth!! Have a great day, ladies!!

One last time, yes I successfully completed my menu challenge and no chocolate challenge. Thanks for all the support from everyone and the shout outs! (particularly the 21 banana salute) I have now started new ones. Here's to day 2.

Have a wonderful day all

Hi Everyone!

I am officially forcing my (several pounds fatter) self back onto the wagon *again* - I have got to get down below 200 by the end of June or lose my ability to get normal health insurance, which I cannot afford to do - so this time no excuses from me (I say this after having had serious porn for breakfast ). But anyway - I am going to spend some time thinking about what my challenges are going to be and get back to you on that one. Also I will read the old posts and catch up with what everyone is up to. Sorry to have been AWOL for so long!

Keep on Truckin!

Hi everyone! Mind if I join? I'm still thinking, but the following may be my challenges...

1.) At least 4 cups of water (Level 3) <---I never drink water
2.) Workout every day on-plan (Level 1) <---Sunday will be my off-day
3.) Eat within calorie range (Level 1) <---which is about 1200-1400 calories

Do those sound good? I hope I can do this...everyone here seems to be really motivated, so hopefully it'll give me a good kick in the butt!

Marble~ I'm so sorry to hear about yor dog. It is always so hard to let them go, but you're right~ your dog is in a pain free place and knows that it is loved.

Apple~ I hope you win the bet. I know you can do it.

Congrats to Jolly and Misti.

Day 8 completed on both my challenges.
Took my 1 weekly rest day (daily exercise) sunday, and a pause day on my calorie challenge the same day.

Good night everyone.

ok, so today is day one of no pop. i just went to the grocery yesterday and bought tons of good clean eats. im excited about that, but heres to a no soda day!! good luck to all for a great day!

and the "booby baby" thing is b/c i made this 3FC profile while my dh was at pldc (army training school) and i had him on the brain. about a year ago, he made that name up for me and i gave him "sugar wumps" to see if we could totally go over kill on the mushy-ness and gross out my best friend...lol, it worked, and the names sorta stuck...so everyonce in a while we'll bust em out =) lol, long explination huh?
