Red face I'm HERE!

I'm here. At work. Did six miles on the bike (actually it was 6.3 to make it round out evenly) today. Where is everyone..one..one..one? Was that an echo..o..o..o..?

Default Popping in...

Evening ladies!

Linda, yeah the snow has melted from my yard. I've been wanting to go out and play today too. BUT I stuck around for nothing! My furniture is still everywhere, he better come tomorrow is all I can say. I didn't hear about Nfld., do I feel sorry for them! I still have family living back there.

Lois, you're in the process of selling your house? I feel for ya, that can be so stressful. We sold on our own and I thought it would never come to an end! Of course hubby was always working so I had to do all the viewings and answering questions. I told him I wanted commission..but I all I got was this lousy new house! hahaha (kidding)

Java, could you send me some of that exercising energy. I skipped last night, skipped this morning. I'm losing steam! I feel a little discouraged, okay maybe more than a little. But I am going to walk tonight weather I like it or not, cause without exercise I can't expect a change, right?!

Well like I said I gotta drag my butt downstairs and do something about this standstill. Hoping the fat loss fairies will meet me there! LOL

Have a great night girls!

Hi Ladies,

Not a very good couple of days for me. Had my weigh-in at WW, and I up 4lbs!! I'm retaining a lot of fluids and feel so bloated. Can't believe the weight gain since I have stayed on program, so I know it just water weight...Very depressing. Going to keep doing what I'm doing and know that it will evenually go back down.

Beautiful day yesterday and today, but there is a nip with the wind. My friend and I went for a nice walk yesterday. Going to start walking everyday.

I'll be back tomorrow to do personals.

Red face Hi

Tina: If I could send it (exercise energy) to you, could you send me some willpower for better eating? Or maybe some organizational skills? We should set a barter system to help each other out.

Cheryl120: You hang in there. You're right that it's only water weight and I KNOW how discouraging that is (TRUST ME), but you're so right to just keep on keeping what you're doing. You know you're doing right and you know it's going to pay off eventually. Chin up. We're all behind you.

You too Tina. We're all here for each other right? C'mon. The weather getting warmer and the time change (provided you have that where you live) is bound to get on our side sooner or later.

Default g'morning...

It's another beautiful day here and temps are headed toward the 60's today! I love it!

Tina, yep... I'm selling my house and it can be stressful at times but all I can do is be patient. Hmmm, no commission and all you got was a lousy new house... hahaha! That worked out well for you

I hope everyone has a great day... I will check back later.

Good morning ladies!

Cheryl, maybe you could slide over in your boat so I may join you. I know how you feel. I haven't cheated, haven't slacked on exercise (till very recently) and see no change! But, we know we have to hang in there. Cause we can't expect change doing nothing to better it. So I'm going to take a page from my book and your book and say hang on! Walking with your friend sounds very nice.

Java, LOL! Okay, I'll see your exercise energy and raise you a turkey salad! Thanks for the encouragement!

Lois, it's -1 right now, hoping to see a +6 today. And I'm excited about this?! hahaha Since we're in a bartering mode...what could I possibly want from you? Enjoy your weather!

I am going to go downstairs and operate that treadmill. Have a great day girls! Enjoy all that good warm weather and think of me...enjoying my mediocre warmth!

TTfn!

Angry Grrr

Grumpy. Got called in to work a day shift (double shift) and that's after getting to sleep after 0200 AM and getting called at 0710 AM. OUCH! At least I got a good cup of coffee on the way in, but obviously had no time to exercise. And now, working a double and getting home at midnight, it doesn't look like I will. But maybe on my afternoon shift, I'll ask for a longer break and just take a walk or do some steps. Nothing enough to make me sweat in this polyester uniform, but at least I'll move a little. Sleepy, Tired Turtle already and it's just now coming on noon!

Hello from Atlantic Canada . . . it's been another mild and sunny day, and supposed to be more of the same tomorrow. But, we always get at least one April snowstorm, so it's probably not really spring yet. Hard to believe this is the weekend to set the clocks forward already.

Lois . . . glad you're getting back in the swing of things, I'm sure it won't take long before you're up to 100% effort and endurance again.

Java . . . sorry to hear you are at work, again and feeling so tired and I really relate to the lack of exercise thing . . . but be careful out there . . . polyester and exercise definitely do not go well together.

Cheryl . . . at least you recognize that weight gain for what it is . . . water. Even after TOM is gone forever, your body still does a bit of a monthly cycle, but nothing like what you are going through right now.

Tina . . . never fear, your turn at warmer weather will come and by then, I'll probably have snow again. Hope the exercise has been good to you.

Have a great evening. See you soon. We still (and again) seem to be missing a few of our regulars. Wonder where they've gone to? They probably show up again soon. Keep on moving and shaking, gang.

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick check in tonight. I have been getting up at that horrible time for the last three days and I'm dragging my hinnie. I was down a couple of pounds this morning, but I'm not celebrating till my weigh in on Wednesday. Hope to see a couple of more pounds gone by then.

I'll be back tomorrow to do personals, but I'm off to bed for now.

Take care,

Cheryl

Im back (hanging head in shame) I have gained 3 pounds since my last trip to the gym last week.. I have consumed 3 boxes of girlscout cookies and most of a jar of reduced fat peanut butter and a half dozen cokes in the can. Have not had a ride to the gym for a while and have been inconsistant with exercising at the house. So it serves me right, I earned those 3 extra pounds. Bleah! Now to eradicate them and their friends!

I worked out at the gym tonight for an hour and five minutes. I went on a long walk with my brother this evening. We ate at a chinese buffet and I STAYED ON PROGRAM except for two fortune cookies which oddly enough had success rice coupons inside with the fortunes.

Any way, I am ending the month on a sad note although with an overall loss of 7 pounds which is much better than the zero in February. Now to get my *** in gear and do up April right!

My aunt died Monday (a blessing, she is much better off now) and my mom is in WV until the 12th, hopefully I will be able to go to the gym frequently while she is gone! I had a very nice workout tonight. 31 min treadmill; 30 min bicycle, and 5 min elliptical. I think if I lived close enough to walk to the gym safely, I would work out every day.

Now if I would get up in the morning instead of staying up all night and sleeping all day i would have more opportunities for a ride to the gym...so ultimately I am my own worst enemy. Well me and the girl scout cookies so lovingly given by my evil daughter in law.

I hope all of you are ending the month with a great loss of weight!

for those like me I suggest we get cracking on April!

Popping in to say - YAY - I've finally lost 30 lbs!!!!

Only took me six weeks to lose the last ten when it only took 8 to lose the first 20!! Still, it's gone and that's the main thing. I'll post a pic later when dd has gone to bed, to compare with the 20 lb pic.

Garnetfairy - don't feel bad about having 'only' lost 7 lbs this month. I've only lost 7.5!! It's an average of 1.6 a week for you which is pretty bloody good!! And even considering you lost nothing in February at all, you're only 3 lbs behind me and we started at the same time. Sorry to hear about your aunt but sometimes these things are a blessing.

Hey ladies!

Well, I did it. I finally was able to make the scale move a pound! Small victory I know but big in my books.

I painted my diningroom yesterday. AFTER the guy finally showed up and finished his job. I was taking advantage of an empty room and the baseboards taken off. The less trimwork to paint around the better! I think it looks pretty good if I do say so myself...hehehe!

It's beautiful here today all of a +9! I love spring time..just love it!

Java, I hope you take time to recoop after working a double shift. Yikes...that's gotta be tough. Take of yourself. You're doing so well on the bike that I think one day set back isn't going to affect you that much.

Linda, yeah the weather is totally unpredictable. But I'm taking it for what it's worth right now. Hope you're having a good day!

Cheryl, congrats on the pounds (unofficially). I know that must of made your day!

Garnet, you win some and you lose some. But hey...you lost 7lbs. for the month of March, that's is really great! Look on the bright side...you ready to let it rip for the next month. Motivation is a lot, it's when you lose it you're in trouble. Sorry to hear of your Aunt.

Robsia, nice to see you! Congrats on your loss! That's really great...you must really be on cloud nine, but save some room! LOL

Have a great fat burning day ladies!
TTFN!

Default T. G. I. F.

Oh boy am I feeling crappy today ...I started feeling bad last night with a sore throat... those darn germy kids!

I did however get in a workout but it was only 1 mile... better then not at all. This morning I got on the scale and was down : 1.5 lbs ...still not quite to ticker, but I'll be there by weigh in day (crossing fingers)

Janet, good to see you back as well... sorry to hear about your aunt but if she's better off, then may she rest in peace

Gosh the way you were sounding I thought you were going to say you gained 10 lbs. ... you're doing fine, and I bet those cookies were yummy hahaha! Hang in there girl, we'll all get through the rough spots.

Linda, thanks... I'm working on it, but now I feel a cold coming on. Hopefully I can nip it in the bud because I really want to reach my next mini goal... so close but not quite there yet!

Java, I hope you got some rest... working doubles aren't fun. It's been a while, but I remember doing a few myself.

Tina, how are you today? I'm holding on to that motivation for both of us... oh, and if you still want this weather, be warned, it's suppose to be in the 60's but it's cloudy and the rain is coming with it.

Hey I guess we were composing at the same time. Painting, sounds like fun? Congrats on getting that scale to moving... I'm with you, whenever it moves, even a little... it's a victory

Robsia, congrats I can feel your enthusiasm and it's a great motivator. Keep up the good work girl!

I'll check back later... hope you all have a good day!

Hi everybody . . .

I'm having a good/bad day. Had a doctor's appointment first thing this morning and happy to report all my quarterly tests came back in good shape . . . as the doctor put it in his notes "Linda is meeting all her guidelines". Poor man was so disappointed that he couldn't find something to complain about. If only he knew . . . I felt so good I decided to have a lunchtime pig-out on ice cream (at least it was 'no-sugar-added') and carrot muffins (5 of them). I don't even feel guilty about it (well not too guilty, anyway) Its the first time in 3 months I eaten soooo badly I don't even want to think about the total calories I consumed. Not only is tomorrow a new day . . . it's a new month, too . . . and I promise I'll get right back on my 'good-girl' horse.

Garnet . . . right on girl, glad you are back moving in the right direction.

Robsia . . . Congratulations on that 30 lb milestone. Way to go lady.

Tina . . . Yay! Yay! Yay! You are moving again.

Lois . . . oh dear . . . sorry to hear you're feeling poorly again. Please get well quick.

Have a great day everybody. Keep moving and shaking and you'll get to the desired destination.
