How is everyone this fine afternoon? I've been good on plan and exercising. Water is pathetic, but I can't be perfect.

I haven't been having a good few days. Having some bad issues at work, and so went and had restaurant food a few times and didn't go the gym for four days. Being fat isn't going to help me look for a new job though.

Golly gals. I'm not sure about these husbands. Mine was flipping thru a catalogue last evening and announced that I needed a new pair of hipster jeans because my old ones look so good. Lovely, thank you very much.
Then this morning he's packing his lunch and he took my left over chicken breast! Now I know I've been hoping he's learning by example but ... he never walks off with my tuna or cottage cheese.

Hey Susan, at least he's eating healthy!!! And take him up on the jeans. A girl can never have too many pairs of jeans. Good luck with lunch.

Buddha, sorry about the job stress. Emotional eating will get us everytime. Do something, just on thing at first, nice for yourself and try to reduce the stress. When my job p*ssed me off so bad about 2 weeks ago, I came home and exercised. That was a new response and boy did it help!!! good luck to you.

Today is Day 2 of spring vacation (in other words my job is NOT going to p*ss me off this week). So far I've been a slug but I'm sure enjoying it. I'm going to exercise, knit and draw. Also I'm still working on DH computer. I had to rebuild it last week and I'm SLOWLY putting all the programs back on it. I made it useable for him - he basically just surfs and I put Quicken back on it and Office, but the little programs I'm doing a little at a time. Today I'm going to get the scanner working again. Such fun.

Well, have a great day!!!!!!!

Default I'm full of H20

Hello!
I've been faithful to my current eating plan (Fat Loss 4 Idiots) and will weigh in tomorrow or the next day. I just drained the last of 64oz. of water. I am full!! That and 2 soyburgers. What more could a girl ask for?

I still haven't been on the treadmill, but I figure jumping on and off the skid loader 15 times a day will count for a little bit of exercise. I know, I know, it's not aerobic enough.

I'm off to pick up kids and finish BBQ in the crockpot for the rest of the carnivores.

One question regarding this site: How in the world does one quickly find the thread? Is there a place I can go to just see replies to my posts?

Does anyone sew? The latest issue of Sew News has some neat-looking placemats and napkin holders that I am dreaming about making....and they have no calories!

Hi Parrish, great job on following your plan. I'd never heard of it, but I like the name. Good luck exercising. Thanks Susan for the reply. I'd nevere done that. I just go back to the thread and go to my last post and read from there.

I can very easily get carried away here at 3fc so it's best for me to subscribe to a few threads so I can remember where I've been!

That first bike ride of the season can be an eye opener (thigh killer)!

Oh Susan, that's for sure. Doesn't matter how much winter exercise including the exercycle I do, riding my real bike is WAY harder. Same with walking. I use WATP religiously and still when I tackle the mountain hills, I huff and puff. I love it though. And spring - I can't wait. I really want warm weather and sunshine!!!

Default Friday!! yay!!

Yesterday I was not a good girl on my FL4I diet: before bed I ate a massive handful of M&Ms and a large soft wonderful chocolate chunk cooky. sigh. I have put off weighing for a few days so I'm not totally disenheartened! ha.

Today is all fruits and veggies so I'm back on track.

Lots of calves being dropped, 40 down and about 50 to go! The weather is rainy and cruddy. The cows are loving the private suites they get in the barn after they calve.

I'm adding treadmill to the routine tomorrow...maybe I can allay the "49-year-old-blob-body-blues" with the combination of this metabolism diet and trotting on the treadmill.

Good luck everyone and have a great weekend.

Parrish, oh that would be so cool to see all the calves. I live in ranch land and love spring when I see all the baby cows. BTW, I chat at them as I drive by, welcoming them to the world. I know, I'm a little nuts. Today, I saw a real sign of spring, a couple baby lambies. Oh my, they are so adorable. And your snack last night would hit the spot right about now. I'm trying not to munch but I sure want to.

Good luck with the treadmill. I love my Walk Away the Pounds DVDs since I can walk rain or shine. I bet that's the same with a treadmill. DH won't let me get one - understandable since I have a nordic track, Gazelle, and exercycle that I don't use. I point out I do use the DVDs and he said that is good, but they're way cheaper. He does have a point. Have a great weekend.
