Good morning! I had a great time last night as usual! I was so tired when I got home I fell asleep right away! I woke up this morning and it was FREEZING in the house from having the windows open...gotta love that!
I'm only in the office until about 8:30ish. I have a training from 9-3 today and I won't have access to a computer! So that should give you time to think up a new name for me (on the 'other' site) -- :lol3: I gotta run for now, I have things to take care of since I won't be back in the office until September 6. Hey Chickies! First let me say thank you SO MUCH for a wonderful night last night! I was soooo surprised at everything--had no idea what you guys had planned! It really, really made my day! I woke up this morning and my apt. smelled so good from the flowers! I even put together a little bouqet and brought it into my office! You guys truly are the best! I had a great time and for a couple hours I didn't have to think about everything going on--that in and of itself was a treat!
Guess what? That meeting that I'm so ready for is now off. She called and left me a lengthy message that she simply didn't have time to come over here to talk about things when she knew she would get no result....and I was SO READY TOO! Here's the other scoop: the viewing is on Sunday and the funeral on Monday. My parents are almost sure they are coming up--will let me know today. If they are, they will be here tomorrow! YAY! ...but can't stay long. I asked my boss for some time off so today I'm leaving at 12pm, tomorrow at 1pm and am taking Monday completley off. I have to have time to get myself together for all of this. I am currently sipping on some Wawa coffee and had 2 Cowtails as breakfast, using one of my gift cards! YUMMY. Thank you so much! Gotta go...BBL! |

Did you call Mom back and tell her that we toasted her? BROOK - Hope you made it home okay. You seemed a little tipsy when I dropped you off. She has dealt with so much with my DGF & DGM that I don't know if she could take the viewing & funeral. Dad said he told her she'd regret it in the end and he left it at that. I hate you VIVA, I will always admit when I am wrong if it is something that is worth admitting to.
Well the interview went very well, I passed the three test with flying colors. Outlook (95%), Audio (99%), Word (98%) so they are still interviewing for the position and they will know in about a week. The job is actually in CC around where I am now. We'll see. |

And to clarify my vote, if the question had been "Were you surprised SPILLIE was wrong" I would've clearly voted no. :devil: BROOK - Enjoy the time with the grands while it lasts! And I'm so impressed with the multiple colors! See...you can teach an old dog new tricks. Wha? Who said old?? :lol: :lol: :lol: HAPPY - Hope the beach was fun! OMG...I'm so sick this morning, it's not even funny. I was up at 3, on the toilet, for at least 15 mins. Same thing again this morning when I got up to get ready for work. Ugh. I took some Pepto, and hopefully that'll get me through the day. I wouldn't be here if I didn't need to get this :censored: project done! Oh well, hopefully everything will be smooth for the day. It's dress down day, and I'm wearing a cool new top and capris that I just bought...on clearance. I love sales! The pants were $15 at H&M, and the top was somewhere around $8 at NY&Co. Woo hoo!! :cb: Anyway, hope you're all doing well. VIVA - I'll come up with something for you. Wait...how about PaperTowelGirl? :D |
