Deanne
Since the cooking process doesnt add fat or calories you should be able to put in the calories, fat and fiber into the ww site and come up with a good idea of the points
I know how it goes with the pregnancy thing. Mine came up negative a few times and I didnt know if it was a good or bad thing. it worked out well for me since now I have 4 beautiful girls..

LOL well i DID want to have a boy, but after that fourth girl I decided it wasnt in the cards for us. I had my tubes tied the day after Kenzie was born. I did not want to be a baby factory forever. 8 years of pregnancy/toddlers was enough for me. Its funny. I used to get all teary when someone else had a little baby. Now I just thank God I dont have to get up at 3 am to feed/rock/change a newborn. I wouldnt have another baby even if someone could garuntee it would be a boy.

Girls I had fun reading your post, you'll had a good time this morning sorry I missed out. I know for Deanne it is especially nice to have people to talk to, and speaking of you girlfriend I hope not being pregnant is alright with you, just not in the cards right now. Deanne go to Delphi forums and click on creative arts and they have the graphics there. I spend hours going through their website, love graphics. I wish I could make them, may just try one day.

Sure hope you feel better soon Lynn, it is the pits being sick.

Kim four girls how neat, I agree four is enough.

I went to Wal-Mart and got my walking in. I have done it 6 out of 7 days, now that is a first for me. I have the afternoon off no grandkids or husband, hhmmmm wonder what I will do? It sounds like a good afternoon to take a little nap and watch a few soaps, then I have got to get some ironing done.

I have decided not to do Atkins, too boring and I am not sticking to it at all. I am going to watch my portions and eat healthy and try to stay away from the sweets. I had a bowl of shredded wheat for breakfast, yum love that stuff.

I will check on you all later....

OMG!!! This forum is a hoot! I just got home from school and It took a while to read it all. I couldn't wait to get to the end and see if Deanne was Prego! It will happen when it is meant to be. Glad you took the test though, now you know.

Kim and I walked this morning and we will walk early again tomorrow. I have to take my dad to Chemo tomorrow. I have the say, the walks do start my day more energized.

I am off to lunch with a friend, so I will be back later!

Kim

Hey girls!!

goddesskim- Nic and I would love to adopt after we have 2 kids. His dad adopted kids in his first marriage so I know Nic would love it. I have always wanted to adopt too. The good thing about raising kids here is EVERYONE that has kids, has a maid. Im not saying that I want a maid to handle my kids all the time. I just would love to have a maid to help out around the house and keep the kids if needed. I know it would help. Especially if NIc and I both were working, the kids wouldnt have to go to daycare.

Diane- You are such a sweetheart! Not having a baby right now is totally ok. Like I said, I can work on my health and weight and marriage. Nothing wrong with that, right? THanks for the clipart info. You should definetly make your own! Oh and I understand about Atkins.

Kim- All I could think of with your first sentence was, "These are the days of our lives..." Hehe...How long do you and Kim walk in the mornings? Hows the weather there? Do y'all ever make it to Jackson?

Ok, I had a sort of kiddie dinner. I had these chicken fingers...I got to eat 5 of them for 4 points. Not bad. I baked some french fries for 4.5 points. Then, Ill have an apple before bed. I'll end the day at 23.5 points. What about y'all? How was your eating today?

Love y'all,
Deanne

We walk about 30 mintues or so, spend more than that standing in front of my house gabbing lol. The weather here is beautiful right now, 65 and sunny. It's supposed to be in the 80's tomorrow but stormy, we'll see how it is at 8 am .. hopefully we can get our walk in before it starts raining on us.
I know my life can be a soap opera sometimes. All the drama without all the sex LOL. I guess thats a good thing though.. in soaps people sleep with everyone.
My older two girls got into a world of trouble with the DH last night. I asked them AGAIN to clean up their room and of course they didnt. So when we got home from ball practice he went upstairs and started packing up their stuff. He took the computer, tv, video games, cd players, kareoke machine, all their nick nacks, pillows (he left them each one pillow and a blanket to put on the beds) and any article of clothing that wasnt put away. They are down to bare bones LOL and absolutely not happy about it. But maybe when I ask them to do something they'll think twice about blowing me off.

Talking

It is so hard to keep up with all of your posts!!!

As far as my nutrition plan goes, I just eat healthier than I used to (not as much fast food, not very much regular soda, tracking calories, etc.) and I go to Curves once a day, except Sundays, of course. Just that alone helped me lose 12 lbs. Yippee!

You all sure are an active bunch. A lot more active than some of the other threads I post on!
