Do we want to have an official weigh-in and report day? I usually weigh-in on Fridays but I'm flexible with that.
I made my calendar to "chart" my progress with my workouts and weight loss. I'm very visual so I think this will help me a lot. I already have a sticker on today's date as I did an hour on the treadmill at the gym this morning.

Holly Snadra, I am so excited!! I have been really looking for someting like this. I can't do ww because of DH's hours at work. I weigh in on Sat morning. For some reason I have always weighed less on sat than any other day. (DH and I have been charting our weight for over a year now)
Today has started off pretty good. I am still extremely sleepy, but I had to push on with my day. Laundry is almost done and I stripped the kiddies beds and washed all that stuff too. I still have to tidy the kitchen, but DS will be home from school soon and it will be lunch time, so I will plan on doing it while they eat.
I was really bad this morning. DH got doughnuts last night, and there were some left, so I had 2 for breakfast. I am thinking a SF meal bar for lunch and a salad (maybe with some chicken ) for dinner. And possibly a fruit cup for a snack. I just started my first bottle of water (32oz) I aim for at least two of these a day.
Well ladies, my girls have gotten really quiet, I have to go see what trouble they are in.
I have been doing well the last few weeks... Well except my 4 yr old wanted to make cookies last Friday- so we did and then I ate them on and off until I finally gave them away!! In the last two weeks I have lost 4 pounds and even with that cookie incident I didn't gain any back!! yeah!!
I have been doing BABY steps- crunches at night, some other exercises, and trying to walk 5 minutes more every day. TOday I had to run something across campus and I ran up every set of steps (it is a hilly campus lol)
Haven't notice too much of a difference with sleeping or waking up yet- but throughout the day I feel much better... I hope I can keep it up!!
hi girls. glad you all are on goal with getting back. Sandra I gotta get back to this. my weight just keeps going up and up and up. i know where i am doing wrong and thats late night snacking. I need to stoip that and get busy again. I am a little despressed today.

I ate very well all day until the evening after the H&S meeting. I made a raspberry smoothie for me and DS. That would have been fine but after hubby went to bed asnd ER was on I ate chips. There have been no chips in the house since Christmas. Hubby really wanted some. I had a handful. Dont need a handful.
I had a looong day with a three year old yesterday.Actually a loooong week with this kid.Cant let her out of my sight. She is getting into all sorts of bad stuff and wrecking things.
Didn't exercise.

PD day today.7 kids for the morning,5 for the aft. DD went home with a family last night for a sleep over. They will be here at 9.
DS has hockey at 5:45.I am looking forward to a quiet evening.I want to get as much housework done during the day as possible.I will get ALL the kids to put toys away in the basement.
Good morning ladies!!! I did pretty well yesterday if you don't count my two doughnuts in the morning. I had three cups of coffe (just really had a taste for it) the rest of my chicken parmisan (1/3 of sandwich) for lunch and broiled chicken breast and Veggies with whole wheat noodles for dinner.
On the exercise front, I thought I had blown it, but then my mom dropped off the hula hoop I orderd, so I did an hour of that in the evening!! I only had about 40 oz of water, but today I will do better.
Acording to the scale I have stayed the same, so that is better than gaining. Much love ladies, I have to get DS on the bus.

I was going to do an hour on the treadmill at the gym but quit after 45 minutes. I think that is still pretty good though. I've really found that working out in the morning works better for me. If I plan to do it later in the day I just NEVER, EVER do it. So on days I don't work as soon as I drop my daughter off at school I drive straight to the gym before coming home.
I ate "OK" yesterday. Can you say M&Ms??? Ugh. Anyway, I did eat smaller portions all day long and made a healthy dinner with no seconds!!
Well, ladies I am off. I hope you have a great week. I ended mine the same weight as I have been, but it is not a gain. Stay OP and talk to you in a week!!

How about a weekly weigh-in and post it - you know, that accountability we all seem to need. Maybe we can post between fridays and saturdays and see how everyone is doing.
I'm still not doing too well on the eating but I did make it to the gym again today so I'm glad of that. What do some of you guys tell yourself to NOT eat the bad choices? Say we go out to eat...I'll have every intention of ordering a healthy meal and then something like "french fries" just flies out of my mouth!!

I was up 3 at TOPS but had just finished my 2nd period in 4 weeks and am blaming that!!!
My van is in the shop getting a new rad.If i have it back today I will weigh in tonight. I am debating just bying a good scale and weighing at home but there is something about someone else seeing that number that makes me want to try harder.
An uplifting evening!!! DH took DD to gym and when he got home I was picked up for a quick meeting with the co and past chairs of Schoool Council. I had some serious concerns and was losing sleep over it but it seems we are on a similar page and I am relieved.
Two weeks ago in the spirit of just having fun I went on the that calssmates.com site and checked out my highschool.
I was surreal to see names and bios of people I haven't even thought of in 23 years.
My highschool love,s name was there so I sent a message. I haven't seen him since i was about 21. We broke up when we were 18. About 5 years ago I heard he was living in India. I knew he got married in the late 80's and had 3 kids. All I said was, "Hi, drop me an line. " And he did. I had forgotten that I had sent the message. He sent a quick reply not sure i would get it. So I sent my email address instead of usinf their their message board.
It was just cool. We were best,best friends, young, in love, it was all glowly and exciting and then we drifted apart.Far apart. LOL!!!
It will be cool to catch up as adults.He is in the states now.
I had another good deep sleep.
I cleaned off 2 shelves in the "office" and the stuff went out with the recycling today!!!
Feeling fresh and ready for the day.
No big plans. Will do my weekly home blessing(dusting,vacuuming,downstairs bathroom).
Still desperately need a haircut.
Food was mucho good yesterday, so was water, did 1 mile WATP.
Another dusting of snow so I will shovel for 2 hours today for exercise!!
doing well on the cruse, DH and I have gotten in about 1hr of exercise a day, plus all the walking and swimming on top of that. I am only allowing my self one plate and desert at dinner only. hopefully when I weigh in I will be down. Have a great day and I am think of all of you even on this cruise. ((hugs))
Well I am checking in and Friday weigh in is great. I will do it with you Sandra. I haven't been on the scale in a while and I am still snacking on bad stuff but the last few days I have taken the dog for a walk at night for about 20 minutes even in the cold weather. Today i took my son outside for about 30 minutes to swing him on the swings and we played a little bit of soccor. not much but it helps. Anyway we have to do it one step at a time right? oh yea and i have 4 triskets tongiht instead of chips..
Sandra I am with you. I go to the restaurant with great instentions but i don't get to go out to eat much that i end up ordering what ever i want. applebees has some great choices for light eating and the food is good. good luck. i don't have any tips for you cause i love fries too. and we are very much alike.

Find a diet/food plan that works for you and your lifestyle. As this has to be a lifestyle thing vs. diet/temporary thing. I am on jenny craig as I like the structure (don't have to think/prepare/etc) but it is still a challenge and I fairly frequently "cheat"/opt off of plan...but try to offset by lowering cals for rest of day/next and/or upping my exercise (walking/interval training). Liquid diets are usually temporary and weight comes back on...look at Oprah's experience....
Onelasttime I like your posts and the cat. Anyways eating anywhere whether at home or restaurant is challenge for me...but find many tools helpful. Just got a calorie counting book of restaurant foods from grocery which is really helpful and alarming as shows what many of my favorites add up to. And to see in bold face makes you stop and think....you may still order something high in cal/fat but might just have a few....share....take home the rest...options i did not exercise in the past but do now.
