Default Good Morning

Not much here to report...... I did some more cleaning out of the basement and burned some more old papers.....I have not been faithful to my treadmill but need to get my legs a movin again. I had a difficult P***** and my energyhas not come back to me yet. I upped my vitamins to try to get more energy.
I do hope everyone is doing well and no one is getting ill with the flu or colds. My little tomato plants are peeking out and my peas are growing. I need to stop myself from planting any more til I get back from my trip.
Take Good Care everyone,
Nae

Tig

Holly~ So sorry to hear you're so sock still. ((((HUGS))))) and hope you improve soon. Take care of YOU!!!

I myself may have overdone it a bit these last 2 days. Went food shopping and later this afternoon while I was doing a load of sheets I felt rather "poorly". Just washed out. going to spend some time upstairs for the next few days and see what happens.
At least some good food is back in the house. I had given it all away to the kids cause I couldn't eat. The fridge was almost empty Now someone has to cook!!!
Have a great night and good morning Miss Shad

Hello to Bump!

Linus ~ good news that you have a good midwife.

Well, 'SMelly! Just about the time I think you have learned how to take care of You, you make us Roll Our Eyes! Remember you don't need to stress over the wash - we Love You, Stinky! Or is it we love you stinky?

Holly ~ so sorry you're still under the weather but still having to do your Energizer Bunny impression. Don't let Mel find out she's got competition! How did your picture-taking go? I'm glad you were able to go to the book club - you certainly deserve a Holly Night Out.

Rose ~ very impressive, cleaning out the basement! Now you can hit that treadmill as a reward!

Happy ~ I know that you are really looking forward to see your mother. That is very exciting. Are you going to race Rose to the treadmill?

shad ~ Your body balance class sounds really interesting. When I read about the fur you found it made me think about the sights, smells, and sounds that remind us of those that we loved and still love...

Meadow ~ hope your down in the dumps has got up and went.

Teel ~ are you peeking in? hellooooo!

Tig News:
We ran a 5K last Saturday. Slim came in 2nd in his age group and I came in 3rd in mine. We both had PRs - Personal Records - for running the races faster than we've run any other 5K.

No races this weekend so we're planning to go to the beach on Saturday morning to run on the beach to be followed by breakfast at the diner on the beach.

Later, Dear Chickies!

Better get this done before I run out of time like I did last night. Such is the life of a busy person. Ha Ha

Oh and guess what!!!! The recruitment place rung me yesterday to officially tell me I did not get the job with the OSR Treasury. Fine I said. Today I get a text message telling me that I have got the job and when can I start. Hmmm, so I ring the place and have a chat with the aggressive woman and tell her that maybe I can start on the 11th and why is the hourly rate only 'approximate' so she is to ring them again and find out details. I haven't heard back since. Maybe tomorrow the job will not be mine. Maybe it will! Who knows???

Tig - breakfast on the beach sounds wonderful. Think I might just run on over and join you.

Linus - good to see you back, was about to ring Teel and ask her what was happening with you. Maybe I should ring you to see what Teel is up to? So is her good ankle still playing up? Teel get in here and tell me about it. And tell me what you have been doing about it as well!!! Mother is speaking here!!!

Rose - good oh, the basement hey. Aaah well I think that my house has risen 3 inches off the ground since I got rid of all that junk last week. It just has to be done from time to time.

Holly, Mel, sorry you are both feeling under the weather again. It's not good at all. Gosh we have had some sickness around the joint haven't we. Time to get a new house in the sun I think. I will get the real estate agent onto it toute de suite.

Okay, that's it. I gotta get off here. I'll be back.

Mornin' Gals! Nice to see it so busy.

Hugs to Bump!!!...I had a dream about a girl named Lydia. What do you think Linus?
Shad~ Well, which way did the job crumble? Annoying antics.
Tig~ woohoo on the PR, for you and Slim. Your weekend run and dine sound delightful!!!
Mel~ REST!!!!!

I am getting a little tired of the cold/flu season. A house full of toddlers is no help. It is also DD's first year in school.A treat for her immune system.Sigh.
Sun would be nice.
I was at the church til 10:30 last night for the photographer. Our family pic went well.House full of kids today. Not much else going on. I will lounge a bit.Still not well but the fever seems to be gone.
Take care chicks!!

Hello Bump And your Mother Linus as well! I don't want to go around scaring pregnant women!!! I'll try and behave myself! Pinky swear!(I promise) Hope Craig feels better soon and in the meantime you can depend on trusty Connor! Stay well my friend.

Tig~ Now that's more like it!! Congrats to you and slim. Your records are beating your records! Enjoy the beach run and lunch. Sounded so good! Especially to this Pisces. I miss swimming and bathtubs!!! showers just don't cut it. Hope you love me Stinky or stinky!!

Shad~ maybe they can make up their minds sooner or later......that's the government way! They not only waste their own time but everyone elses to boot!
Good luck. Was thinking of you and your garden and Nae's tomatoes!

Nae~ I forgot to tell you yesterday that your tomato post made me go and buy 2 lbs of plum tomatoes! Jen and I love them on sandwiches or just to eat like an apple!
Hope Spring up in the wilderness is on it's way! Hello to Teeka too.

Holly~ (((((HUGS))))) and hope you are much improved today! Too bad you had to be out last night and so late too! Take good care and REST!!! sound familiar?!?!?!

I loaded a shopping cart with the 50 easter basket-things I made, the candy and grass and took it to the lunchroom this morning at 7. There are enough volunteers and paid people to fill them tomorrow. So all my obligations to this holiday are over and my 5 day weekend has begun. I spoke to my own Dr late afternoon and he says I don't have enough good muscle for proper hydration and that is why everything is slow going ....... so there are more factors involved than the hospital led me to believe. I can understand what's taking so long now. Guess I better read and do the dvd thing. The weather is snow/rain and damn cold again so I'm not missing much.
:snf: Happy Hump Day and have a great one!!! :snf: :sman:

Easter is actually here!!! I'm home from work for a 5 day break and tomorrow is Good Friday - yee haa. Project boss presented us with a big swiss chocolate egg and bunny and the company was dishing out eggs with a safety message as we left this afternoon. So three eggs or rather 2 eggs and a bunny and I don't eat chocolate. Goodness gracious me.
So I have accepted the job at the OSR and today one of my fav recruiters rings me with a job here in Bris which would have been good too. 8 weeks with extensions. Oh well thats the way the cookie crumbles. I have work and I am about to be overpaid - should I complain?
The 'boys' were in fine form today. They have only about 10 low priority documents to write before they have finished their doco load and six of those have been done by you know who. All they have to do is to test the doco and put their name to it. They are happy campers right now. C - never one to be quiet or still - was jigging around when I left today doing the happy dance. M was cooking the books to show that we are nearly complete. Who cares if the management don't know what we get up to some days - although I nearly choked on my morning tea this morning when the PM manager rang M to tell him that he was very impressed with the Damage Analysis document. He's never seen him write so fluently!!! C was doubled up with laughter and I am and and we had to be quiet about it because we had him on speaker phone so we could all hear what G said. S reckons we are a pack of gangsters and why didn't I do some of his when he had some to do. Truth is that he just bowls right in there and gets on with doing them. There was nothing left for me to do!
So what to do with my 5 day weekend. I'm sure I will find something. I'm taking the ex-H and DB2 to dinner tonight - we are going Thai - don't know which of the two of them were the furtherest in the dumps when I spoke to them by phone. I'll just have to ensure they get a skinful of something to cheer. I asked ex-h if he liked Thai and the reply was that anything would be better than what he gets to eat with the Womble cooking. I suggested he make a meal for her one night but that met with stony silence. Guess it wasn't appreciated huh! Womble is doing very well in the temper department considering she is a redhead!

Okay, wine into the fridge for tonight, shoes on feet. Hang out washing, think about mowing lawn. Fertilise the gardenias and azaleas as well. Think about mulch - think about siesta. See ya.

Holly~ Thinking spring so much it snowed last night
Hope you have an Oinking Easter too! Glad to see in the journal that you're feeling better also!

Shad~ Those poor guys will be calling you any minute now!!! Congratulations on the new job funny how they come two and three at a time?? Good luck!
Dinner with the ex?!?!?! Hmmmm.........lots of thinking going on in the Yank's head. can you smell the smoke over there?!?!?
All kidding aside...have a great time! Maybe you should have taken the Womble with you?!? Happy fertilizing too!

I put some Easter treats in the office very early before they could come and find me there. Played the sneaky Easter bunny role Not much for today except clean the bedroom and TV. Feeling better already but I know I need a few days more. The kids might go away for the weekend and I wish they would. Not much in the mood for a big dinner. Lots of rain coming up to melt our new snow that got dumped last night. almost 4 inches!
So maybe no one is going anywhere!!!
Have a great day and stay smiling

Default Morning All

Happy Easter Everyone,
Shad your sound so happy and ready to tackle the next world set before you! Dinner with your ex? wow.... I don't know if I could pull that one off...good for you! My friend brought me about twenty plants from her mom's garden and they are doing so good... I will hardly have to buy any flowers for my deck containers.....
We are getting snow for the first time this winter...I know for you guys back east it is not a good thought but we have not had any almost all winter.
I am going hiking in the snow this morning then off to work for a while..... I did my treadmill last night....... I am gaining back some strength.
Mel, you must take better care of yourself..... I do hope you are feeling better. You kindness will be so appreciatiated while the seniors are putting together their baskets. I do hope you have a good weekend....many blessings to you and Jen.
I am just going to stay home trying to save money for the fuel for my trip but I know it would be nice to be up at Lynny's with family. Oh well that is what I get for living in the boonies. I emptied all my coin jars and am going use that for gas money............
Well ladies are we still on the road to weight loss are have we lost our get up and go????? I fizzled for a while but am getting back on track.
Have a great weekend everyone...... and I want to say special hello to Linus and bump......that is just precious....... how are you doing? I think of you often and the wee one!
Many Blessings to everyone.... Happy Easter!
Love,
Nae

Ok it is me!

HAPPY EASTER to everyone!!

I do hope all who are ill are feeling a lot better, especially Linus and Mel.
Well done to Shad on her potential new employment with the government!

Sorry for my absence. Things have been rather bloody horrible here. My ankle is nearly better although very weak still. The main problem is that now I am not allowed any more anti-inflammatory drugs every bit of arthritis in my entire body has flared up ...especially in my feet and my back.So I am still hobbling around on crutches and feeling very miserable.

Any way thats enough from me. Take care all.
Love from Teel
