I am soooo psyched! I have already done a bit more than 12 miles this month and it's only the 4th!! I've walked everyday since Dec 27 except the 30th, too. I've even gotten myself out of bed the past 2 mornings and did at least a mile!

I most certainly should have some sort of loss when I weigh in on Tuesday!

I hope each of you is having success at your goals!

Good Evening all! It is not just my routine that needs to be worked on. My mom and sister are leaving for Austraila tommorrow morning, so I have my 2 brothers and 1 sister here. If you add in my kids THat is 6 all together (11-2.5). I will have them Mon-Fri until Feb 1. My dad will get to keep these crazies on Sat and SUn. I am hoping to institue some good rules that will make it easier on all of us during this time. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to help keep them occupied I would love it.

Not Horrible today, but becauseI did not know what time I was getting the kids we ordered pizza. I blew it a little, but I could have done worse. I did get my water in and I will try again tommorrow. We are going to go to the store, so I will have more healthy choices for the rest of the month.

Great job Michelle, Jodi and Debbie!! Keep up the great work.

Tonight is weigh-in at TOPS. I'm expecting some sort of a loss. I know that sometimes when I'm working out I will show a gain and I hope that doesn't happen.

To be honest, there are a few things that I can think of that might cause me to gain. I've had a lot of mints and those don't seem like a lot of calories but they are pure sugar and they do add up. I hope those don't get me in trouble.

I feel good about how my week has gone so far, other than the mints.

Work is going better. It can get rushed at time and I feel a little anxious when it does, but it's nothing like my old position and the anxious feeling I would get.

I am a little anxious about my upcoming doctor visit with my GYN. I always hope that everything will be ok and I always feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I don't like feeling that way and I know that I need to find someone to deal with it. I've thought about counseling with my minister or another professional but have not pursured looking into it.

I also am having an issue with the one place on my leg. It comes up like a blister and hurts, then goes down. I think it's from something rubbing but I'm not sure. I'm to see a dermotoligist about it but can't get an appoitment until March, which seemed like an ok date at the time but now that the blisterlike place is there it is a long time to wait. I'm going to see if I can't get in any earlier.

I get so tired of dealing with medical issues. It's time consuming and expensive.

Good news on the money front. The raise that DH was to get in September but the company couldn't afford it until December or January (which is just bull crap as far as I'm concerned) went in effect on this weeks hours and will be on next weeks check.

I've rambled enough.

Jodi: You keep hanging in there girl and celebrate those little victories...they will soon add up to lbs lost!

Michele: Good job on the exercise!

Debbie: Are you getting that water in?

UPS: How's the new routine coming along?

hello chicks!
i hope everyone os doing well tonight. it was a pretty god day for me, work is hectic to say the least since the holidays are done. during the holiday weeks things moved so slow and now we're back to i needed that yesterday!!! thank goodness tomorrow is friday!! i'm leaving at noon i don't care what doesn't get done i just gotta get out of there and re-group over the weekend. i had a bit of a scare on my drive in to work today. some wires caught fire in my car and it filled with smoke! i pulled off right away and called DH he came to the rescue, the damage was minimal but it was a huge scare! i am fine though. tomorrow i am going back to the Y straight after work hopefully it won't be as busy as it was the other day and i can ask someone to show me around if not i will just do the same routine as the other day. either way i am actally looking forward to it.

mychoice- sorry to hear about the med problems. (((((susie))))) i know what a worry that can be. hang in there! good luck tonight with the weigh in!

upswife- good luck with all the kiddos there! holly would be a good one to advise on that she seems to keep her troop moving like a good machine. good luck with the new routine!

michele- keep it up!! great job!!

debbie- how did you like the biggest looser? i only caught the last hour it was very inspirational for me. great job on the points and the curves!! keep it going.

Good evening everyone,
I had a trying day at work. Our controller got fired. we got no explaination but I know it was creative bookkeeping.
My supervisor got promoted to manager and we are told we won't have a supervisor. We will be in fact working the same. She just gets more money
and perks...
I went over on my points today I had 38 but I added 7 activity pts.
I donated blood today and felt I needed to eat a little more.

Jodi: I love the Biggest looser. It is very inspirational.

Susie: I am still a little short on my water for the day. I'll drink some before bed.

Michelle: Great job walking..Keep it up.

My coice~sorry to hear you are having some med problems. I am with you all the way. I hate going to the GYN even though I work for them!! Just breathe and relax. I know you will do well tonight at weigh in. Good Luck!

Jodi~I would so totally freak out if my car caught fire!! I don't know how you stayed so cool. Atleast when you are busy at work, you don't have time to think about being hungry.

Weel, My routine has done well today. I got DS up and ready for school. the other 5 kids woke up about 30-40 mins after that. My 3 siblings got down to thei work right after DS got on the bus (they are home schooled-but only have a modified day) By luch everyone was done and DS was home from school. DH got home early and we went food shopping. It is so nice to have food in the house again. He is only paid once a month, and with Christmad we put it off another week and a half, so I was out of just about everything! We left DS and DD with the oldest beause they were napping. So we only had to take three with us. Dinner went well, we did have burgers, but we grilled them and I had a ton of grilled veggies too. So a total calotie count for today is 1140. and 80 oz of water. I just need to stay op over the weekend. I am really going to try. I am going to start exercising on MOnday again. I just have to. If I put it off any longer I know it will be even harder to get back into it. Well, Have to run. I gave myself a bed time and I am now 15 mins late.

HI Ladies, I thought I had posted.I have been reading I have had a terrible sinus headache with the warm weather.
3 days til the kids go back to school.
It has been such a fabulous holiday!!! DS has been a dream!!!!!! DD is DD and is sweet. We have enjoyed the Junior world hockey!! Canada beat Russia 5-0 last night for the gold. DS was glowing. Our goalie was amazing.

The weather has returned to cold and dry!!!! My head feel soooo much better. I could feel it easing in evening last came downstairs and there was snow on the ground.
I didn’t deliver Avon books.Too achey. Went to bed and watched Dancing with the stars and ER. I folded 2 baskets of wash,

,bagged avon books for delivery and dusted the bedroom.I have turned our bedroom into my oasis. It is tidy and I have decluttered the tops of the dressers and i have nice blankets and pillows out. I am making my bed every day. I am finding the kids like to come there and be peaceful too. My diningroom table is clear. I took the extra leaves out and have a table cloth with a plastic cover on it.The room didn’t get vacuumed tho.Oh. I put away 4 decorations. 1 set of little houses to go!!
Slept in again today. 2 extra kids for the morning. Rainbow goes to the vet at 2 for a shot.
Early Years from 10-11. When I look around the house I do feel overwhelmed by how much doesn’t get done.
The kids have been fabulous at picking up after themselves!!
I have been having a big salad for lunch and supper. That is my focus for food this week. I am getting my 5 veg, 2 fruit!

hello chicks!
it wasa good day so far. friday always makes me happy, i stayed true to myself and left work at 12:30pm and went straight to the Y. i worked out for 1 1/2 hrs i feel good ....energized!! food was good so far. i am making some kind of chicken for dinner not sure how i'm making it yet. we usually eat out on fridays but money is tight this week and i really don't need to go all off plan at a restaurant today so i will cook instead. so happy to have the weekend here. it is cold and snowy today but it sure beats the rain we have been having. this house so badly needs cleaned, i will work on it tomorrow all day if i have to. hope everyone is doing well!!

upswife- you're right there are no siggys wonder whats up with that?? believe me i did completly freak out when my car caught fire yesterday i was all cool about it be last night though. it was just a real freak accident . glad yesterday is over!!

debbie- good for you giving blood yesterday! i think you deserved a few extra points for that!

holly- glad your headache is better, i had one of those sinus headaches this morning. i crapped out last night before ER was it good?? i wanted to see what was up with nela (sp?) and her now hubby???

OMGosh, this thread is HUGE. I'm afraid I'll get lost in here.

I'd love to see 199... I haven't been in the 100's since my wedding day August 7th 1993... I weighed 198 lbs.

I got close to it in 2000, I lost 80 pounds that year and weighed 206 lbs. I've gained it all back plus some since then.

My highest is 292, and the way I've been eating this week, I'm almost right back there. I snuck a peek last night and weighed in at 288 pounds. I've gained 6 pounds this week.

Well I'm getting serious on Monday, so please feel free to kick me in the butt if I slip again. I need all the help I can get.

I just got out of the shower and I'm in my PJ's....RELAXXXED.
I went over on my points again today. I ended up with 32 but I had 10 activity pts so maybe I 'll still have a loss tomorrow...I'm drinking extra water

Well 3fc changed the site. The siggy is only going to show up on the your first post of the page. It is supposed to help those with a slower connection. It doesn't matter to me. I have been so bad the last couple of weeks, my tracker has not moved. I don't wan tto have to add weight to it. Hope fully tommorrow will have a good # on the scale. I did ok today 1390cal and a small walk with all the kiddies. But water has been great 80 oz again today!!! YAY me!!! Well, I have to go to work in the AM so I have to get some sleep. Later chicas!!

Being consistent pays off! I have walked at LEAST 10 minutes ( and most days 30+) since Dec 31 and I lost a pound this week! It's still one of the 4 () that I gained in December, but it's a start! Maybe by summer I really WILL be in onderland!
