Hi chicks!!!!

I was thinking about Spores and Jody too!!!!!! Time to check in ladies!!!!

Debbie~ LOL!! I always forward those redneck jokes people send to my hubby. He thinks they are brilliant pics. LOL!!! Congrats at the restaurant!!!!
Susie~HI!!

I am struggling a bit with wanting to overeat. It started yesterday.I got into a lot of dust so had a bad allergic reaction and my body was sore. I felt gross so I ate. i "binged" on a nice chickpea salad throughout the day. Today I am feeling better but I really want to eat cheese and cracker or nachos and dip. None of that stuff is in the house and I have been munching on oranges but........
5 kids all day, 4 coming after school for 1 hour of total madness!!! May put the sprinkler on . It's hot again.
Take care Gals!!!

Hi,
I've had a productive day. Worked in the garden. I went to curves. Did 5 lds of laundry including my kithchen and bathroom curtins, and shower curtins. Canned some peppers. Grated and froze zuccinni. Made some zuccinni bread. Almost sounds like one of your days, Holly.
The more I go to curves it seems the better I feel. I getting more done. I gonna ride this wave as long as possible. When dh is on me about me not having any energy. I tell him to strap a extra 100 lbs on and see how well he could get around. Oh, he's not mean about it. He just always trying to get me moving.

Susie: It is a lifestyle change. Dieting is for someone who is 10-20 lbs overweight. For what ever reasons we have made some choices that have not been very healthy. Now we have to change. We have to take better care of ourselves. I don't believe it is ever too late. Remember my friend you said it best...MYCHOICE2BFIT.

Hello…..I am back!

I don’t have time to go back and read and catch up right now……got home last night at 2 am…… and have been unpacking and doing laundry and getting some errands done and RESTING!!!!

Had a great trip…..lots of walking….really thought I might actually lose weight on the trip but gained 4 lbs…not so bad for a 2 week vacation to Europe and I never deprived myself of anything……but walked A LOT!!!!!

I will try to write more in the next few days!

Lily: welcome back, Those 4lbs will be gone before you know it, but the memories of your trip will last a lifetime... no regrets. Life is too short to just be a bystander.

I ate copious amount of food yesterday some healthy some not. I started my period this morning which explains a lot.
I had a meeting for Avon last night. I am excited about the future with this. I am NOT interested in working outside of the home when my kids are in school full time and I will probably keep babysitting for a few more years. This gives me a great opportunity with a small business. I enjoy direct sales and networking.
My individual sales are above average so far. The national average is $20/order, mine are all over $30.
Quiet day here. Ds is in school. 4 kids this morning. Just me and DD for the aft. She has a cold and has been monumentally whiney. I need to pick up flyers for Gala Days and I will purchase a tub/bench for toys outside!!!!!! The clutter is getting to me.
I need to sort the bedding upstairs. we seem to have a LOT. I have so many baby blankets it is ridiculous but they ae all menaingfulk. The kids use some for house and some are used. Quilts...Afgans...."camping" blankets.....I need a quilt stand.
I guess we are a cosy bunch!
I moved most of the storage to the basement!!! Took stuff to the thrift shop.
Getting there.

Glad you the trip was nice Lily!!!

HUGS!!!!!!!

Angry

Good morning,
Has anyone else had trouble getting to this forum? I alway use the link in the subscription e-mail. Yesterday, They wanted me to login. I had forgotten my password so they assigned me a new one.
when I used it it gave the usual thank you for login in message. Then when our page came up it wanted me to login again and would not let me post. I sent 3fc a note. This morning I went thru the long way and got on. I'm not sure if they fixed it or the different route made the difference. I wonder if all the chicks who have posted lately are having trouble.
Well I spent so much time messing with getting logged in I'm out of time. All is well here, Hope all is well there

Hiya, No troubles getting on for me.

I have been busy. Last week of school stuff. a lovely retirement party for our principal. I adore him!!

The downstairs is a MESS cause i have been cleaning out stuff upsitairs. It's bugging me!!! 2 more piles to the thrift shop. Yowza!!! I have been unloading stuff all spring!!! Tons of stuff. Now it is getting a bit more personal. Unloading memories. Very freeing for my spirit.
I called my Mom yesterday to get permission to give away the bassinet she bought when my angels were babes. We ended up having a natural and normal conversation. It was heartening.
I still have the christmas stuff to go through and then ALL the closets and storage spaces will be completely sorted and minimized!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will dust, vacuum and wash the windows tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
No plans all weekend. I really want to relax around the house and putter in the gardens!!!!!
Gymnastics tonight.
School council meeting last night was GREAT!!!! We are a wonderful team!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Onward with my day!!! It’s gonna get hot again, 32C.

Have a carefree day!!!!!!

Debbie~ I have just let go of all the stuff I had saved from grade school and highschool. I kept about a 1/4 of it.Hubby doesn't like to let go of stuff either.
I am TIRED of the clutter and no one else but me cleans. Boht kids and DH hang onto EVERYTHING.At least now they can fill their own closets instead of the whole house, LOL!
Have a great weekend!!!

**** playing twilight zone music*******I am a little tired of the hubby and kids not helping around the house. I have asked all week for hubby to help with the dishes and he has not. He makes jokes about it and doesn’t take me seriously. The pots and pans from 3 days are piled on the counter.A mini rebellion. I have been very busy with the kids, school and for myself ,plus I have been deep cleaning the closets.DS is whining about going for a bikeride and I just lost it with him.
DH hasn’t been coming to baseball or gymnastics.....arg!
He is back working very long days and it is HARD work. I am trying to be patient.
I negotiated with DS and we will ride first thing after i finish my coffee. DH will entertain the kids so I can finish cleaning upstairs. At 2:30 I am going for a PEDICURE!!!!!! My feet are actually aching from the callouses. I use the foot file but it is not enough.
I slept til a beautiful 8:30!!!!!!!!!
We still seem to have a lot of clutter. The kids are bringing home lots of stuff from school. That will be the next sort through. We just cant keep it all.

I am needing some peaceful, patient vibes today!!!

ps, I had to login in over and over to get on and stay on today.

Okay..finally feeling up to function again…let me just say….jet lag sucks!!!!!!

Got back hoe from my Europe trip at 2 am on Monday night/Tuesday morning. The trip was WONDERFUL!!!!! Spent 3 days in London….very nice city. It was so clean for a big city! And the people could not have been nicer! The highlights in London were going to the theater and seeing Brooke Shields in Chicago and seeing the Queen and Camilla in the Queen’s birthday parade!

Then we moved on to Paris….not to offend anyone, but it was not my favorite place. The locals were rather rude, as I had been told they would be, and I guess I was not impressed. We went to the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, a riverboat ride on the Seine, Sacré-Coeur, Norte Dame, and just the sites in general.

Then we took a train overnight to Florence, Italy….Italy was awesome!!! Florence, Assisi, and Rome! LOVD THEM!!! The weather was hot and sunny, the sites were beautiful, the people were gracious and helpful, and the food was wonderful!!!! Assisi was my favorite…a quaint little town nestled in the mountains…..it was beautiful!

So that was the trip! Walked EVERYWHERE…but ate EVERYTHING, so gained a few pounds, but back down to the starting weight…so now tie to buckle down and get serious about it. I am setting small, reasonable goals. Exercise, eat healthy, and just take care of myself! Good to be back!

Hi everyone! I was here for a short time in April. I had a minor set-back, but I`m back on track and hope I can join back in. I guess I failed, and felt really bad about it. But looking back I could`ve used all your support, it might have kicked me in the butt sooner!

I`ve been doing quite well all week, lost 5 pounds. Have been on the elliptical everyday for 30-40 minutes. I dont want to sound too excited, cause the first week is a breeze, it`s the next couple weeks I will need much support! I`m really scared going into this next week, I`m just going to keep exercising even if I have a bad food day. It seems to keep me motivated, and after working out late in the day I don`t have the urge to snack or binge or really eat anything after dinner. I just have to keep focused.

I`ve paid a lot of attention at what set me back in April, and learned from it. I only hope I`m strong enough this time.

Glad to be back

Good evening,
I've not done too bad on food. I had to work yesterday so I didn't make it to curves. I did lots of walking. Next fri is the 1st. I hope I at least make the 5lbs
loss goal.

Holly: I can't give any advise on Dh not helping out. Mine is the worst. He started helping with the boys about the time the youngest turned 18! LOL. He always drove a truck and was home only a few days a month. I had a friend ask me once how I could stand it. I told her the check comes in the mail and the BS only comes once a month. That's bad I know. We spent 6 1/2 in that truck together, Now we are home together. We really have had a good marriage. I think it has made me stronger. We will be married 32 yrs in Jan. He get better the older he gets.

Caro: Good to hear from you. Glad you are on track. Sounds like you have a good plan.

Lily: Your vacation sounds wonderful. Glad you enjoyed it so much.

I better go family thinks its supper time.
DRATS!!

BIG HUGS
