Hello girls. I'm feeling kinda blah today, just basically PMS'y I guess. To cheer myself up I searched for the William Hung fanclub and found a bunch of mp3's to download and listen to--those really made me laugh. Someone even made t-shirts with his famous quote (hence my new signature line ) , not just one person either, there are several up for sale on ebay.

Those would be the first thing to go with my boy--I even went so far as to put a note on a snack in his lunch bag one day, to let the teacher know that he wasn't to eat it until he ate most of his lunch. Sometimes I pick him up from school and ask him what he ate--he says, I ate the rice and the fruit, I didn't eat the meat because it was touching the beans... gosh, I wish I could be so picky so I wouldn't eat so much .

Kempy, have a good week at school and enjoy your weekend. I'm sure Joe will suprise you with something really romantic (and it doesn't have to be a material thing )

Angie, my valentine's morning will be spent picking up my Fun Run/Walk packet for President's day. I feel so sluggish right now despite the walking that I'm doing. I hope I don't feel this way on Monday! Oh well, all I can do is keep walking right? Don't know what the night holds though, but I guess that's personal, eh?

Good morning again. It's Thursday, which means I have my two advanced classes today. I feel like I'm totally wasting these kids' time. They're practically fluent enough they should just go to Canada and live there for a few months. That would polish them up nicely. (Which reminds me, I have to print off a pizza menu.)

I am attempting to convince the cold that's been chasing me for the past few days that I'm really not worth catching, but it's not working as well as I wanted it to. Stupid cold!

Last night I went for another run. Yay! I so didn't want to, but once again I felt so good afterwards. Why can't I remember that I feel good after running *before* running? Ah well. Didn't have any caffeine at all yesterday. Must.break.caffeine.addiction....

Wu Shu tonight, hopefully I can manage not to make a complete fool of myself. But probably not. Ah well, I have fun, and I know it's making a difference.

I had this great dream last night about going swimming. I gotta tell you, I bought a swimsuit about two months before I left, and only got to use it twice. Now my beloved is working in a hotel with a pool, and he's always telling me that when I get home, we'll go swimming. My great dream is that I get home, my swimsuit is way too big, and I have to go out and buy a new one, and I look damned fine. *grin*

Anyway, Kempy, I'll be here until at least June or July. Might stay till October. It’s hard to say, cuz I’d like to be home for my birthday, and there’s a convention in August I want to go to, but on the other hand, there’s so many more things to do here…

Hello everyone,

I've been pretty busy the last week or so. Last weekend I went to a baby shower for my niece (her third, a boy). She had the baby on Feb 4 and the shower was on the 8th. Cute little boy. I did pretty well at the party; I had veggies, peanuts, and 2 corn chips. Hubbie went next door to my sister's house and played pool until the shower was over. He kept calling asking if the cake had been cut yet. I did have a piece of cake, but only ate 3 bites. Ashley and hubbie had the rest.

I've been working on getting progress reports out this week. They're due to go out on Friday, but I refuse to do them on my own time. We have parent/teacher conferences next week (Tuesday) and MAYBE I'll have them finished by then. One of the teachers I work with said that they always have to wait for me; I said it's because I'm getting back at them because I'm the only female on our team. They are really great guys to work with.

I've also been sick this week. Bad cold. It's tough to get up every monrning, but 2 more days then a 3-day weekend. I'm beginning to count the days until we have our spring break. I'm sooooo tired.

Anna: I find reading your posts interesting. My hubbie and I lived in South Korea about 5 years ago. We taught English also. In fact, Ashley had her 1st birthday there. We still have friends there and now my nephew is stationed there in the army. My sister wants us to go with her to visit him next summer. We are planning a trip to Florida and a road trip up the East coast from Florida to Quebec.

Hey ladies. I had to come here and post because I let myself have a terrible food day yesterday. I hate to label food as good or bad because it should just be food as sustenance, ya know? But I know I have this twisted relationship with it (or else I wouldn't be here). But anywho, the morning started off bad at home, by lunch I was heading to McDonald's and at dinner I ended up at Zippy's which is a local eatery not primarily known for their healthy fare + I purposely worked late so I blew off my walk with my sister. My behavior was totally reprehensible and detrimental to weight loss and being healthy. I hereby chastise myself for that and hope you guys do the same *insert boot in behind, here* Today is a new day and all I can do is try again.

Angie, I'm willing to blame it on PMS if you are . Let's get back on the wagon today girl and continue on. Heck, at least your exercised!

Cal, hope you're back to better health real soon! Good job on portion control @ the shower. *sigh* I love babies! My son's teacher who's expecting her 2nd child was ordered to bed rest for the next 6-7 weeks until her due date. She'll be missed! You teachers work so hard, I applaud you . I'm thinking about getting the teacher a gift for herself, like a manicure/pedicure gift certificate. I think she deserves to pamper herself.

Anna, print off a pizza menu? Is that for a study session in class or are there any pizza joints near where you live? Good job on the run! I'd like to attempt running *gasp* I can't believe I just typed that! but my knees are little wonky right now.

Noelle I could go for a big mac or a fillet o fish. Yummmy. I have not been to Mc Donalds in a long time. Today for lunch it was peanut butter and jelly. You are so right today is a new day. And we are so lucky to have the power to change for the postitve each day. Its not gonna work quickly but baby steps will get us there I truly believe.

Thanks Angie...you guys are really my only adult friends other than my mom, which can drive me nuts but I love her dearly. I am a shy person in social situations. Something I have to work on. I have asked my hus to invite some of his friends out for dinner and drinks. I think it would be good for me and our relationship. I can't remember the last time I went out !

Aloha Ladies! So sorry I haven't been keep in touch with you guys. Ever since Legislature started, my life has been just writing testimony, tracking legislation, running to the Capitol to testify, and meeting with legislators. Still in the midst of looking for a new job. Sorry again for not making the time to check in with all of you. It sounds like everyone has been doing well otherwise. For me, well January was a blur along with my diet. I gained back everything I lost before my trip and more. But now I'm back on track. Actually lost about 5 pounds this week (all water). Still training and still sore!

Noelle - Thanks for the PM. Had to rush out the door though and get to a hearing so I couldn't reply back . Thanks for thinking of me. I'm still on for Great Aloha Run. Hope to see you there amidst the wild pack of people. Hoping Kel doesn't pass out on me though! If not during the race...I'll see you at the stadium (if I make it!!!)

Good afternoon. We got a big order today for donuts(a local mill is shutting down so I guess the employees get pink slips and a donut) that should make them feel better... NOT!! Gotta love Maine.

I made the cutest donuts today. I have a big heart cookie cutter so Jay cut 24 heart shaped donuts and I decorated them with pink fondant and sugar crystals. I also did 6 with chocolate dip and pink fondant drizzled on top. I cant wait for my own front so I can do creative things like that and I not my MIL gets the credit for it.

Noelle, Dont feel bad,I seem to be having more bad eating days than good. Jay wants to go to Popeyes for lunch Saturday. I just love Popeyes. We actually have to travel really far to get it so I guess I will have to see if I cave or not.

Julie, You are so much like me. I wished we lived near each other so we could hang out. I am so shy and nervous around new people. I think that is why I like my setup so well. I dont have to meet new people when I work at home. I am excited about doing a fronth though. (even though Jay may be the one talking to most of the customers while I am making pastries and pies. He does the donuts.

Jacks so great to see you back. I am not mad at you for not posting for a while. Sometimes life just gets crazy but we are glad you checked in and made sure you are okay . Great job on the five pounds. I think I am holding around 10 pounds of extra water right now. Yuck!

Angie your doughnuts sound so wonderful. God I am just having terrible cravings. I wished we lived closer too. We should all plan a Vegas trip someday. Boy I think it would be so wild and fun. Just think how great and fun it is going to be with your new front. Making new creations and doing the ones you do now. Chocolate truffles are pretty popular I saw on food TV. This lady would make them and sell them to upscale restaurants and specialty shops. Have you ever made those?

Well tonight was frozen pizza night. I ate way to much. And then my hus stopped at the grocery store after worked and picked up a cherry pie. I had two pieces. I could not even control myself. This damn pms. I think this calls for the use of our word BLOTATION !!!! I am scared for weigh in on Saturday. Are we all going to do that again? The pizza menus were for the kids to practice doing ordering of food. It didn't work the way I wanted it to. *sigh* Ah well. My kids get pretty creative when I leave them to their own devices with the dialogs, but lately they've gone on a violent streak. I posted up some examples on my blog (Anna Overseas). They're pretty creepy, and a bit funny. Or should that be a bit funny, but pretty creepy? *shrug*

I'm still drinking my water. My Wu Shu class was cut early last night, so only thirty minutes. Yay.... I curled up in a ball and drank a ton of water, and woke up this morning stiff (I sadly fell asleep on the couch watching Lord of the Rings) but not nearly as ill as I was yesterday. Yay for water! *smile* I'm still not 100 percent, but I'm not feeling like death warmed over either. I'll see how I'm feeling tonight to determine if I'll run or not.

Now I'm going to sit here and not think about donuts. I'm so glad they don't do Valentine's Day here, or I'd be going nuts for chocolate right now!

It has been a few crazy days here. Nothing bad just busy. I am glad to see Jacks and Cal posting again. I don't really have time to post much I just wanted to pop in so I wouldn't be so left behind.

Julie I am proud of you for telling us about your meds. I don't know if you remember but I was on some too last year. I got off of them b/c I realy didn't think that they were helping me. I figured that I needed to fix my depression instead of cover it up b/c that is what I had been doing all of my life. I am not saying that you are covering anything up. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone in the fact that you have to take something. None of us think differently about you.

Noelle and Angie you guys better get yourselves back up here on this wagon. If you don't I might have to fall off too so I can be with some company.

Hello Girls

Anyone have anything romantic or fun for tomorrow? I really don't. My hus use to be kind of romantic but since having the kids we are always so tired and exhausted we just crash in bed at night. Its funny because my brother and his fiance are so mushy mushy.....I have to laugh because my mom always says throw a couple of kids into it, bills, and everyday life problems and that will be gone. I don't believe that is true for everyone though. I know couples who have kids and seem to be in love just as much as the beginning. It just depends on the couple.

Angie did you get all your orders done for the mill in time? Are you baking any special valentine goodies for tomorrow? I really could go for some cheesecake with strawberries drizzled in chocolate. I better stop thinking about it. Because I have all the stuff to make it.

Friday the 13th...pretty spooky! I woke up and turned on the TV to start my morning exercises and the new blared about a 3 car pile up on one of the freeways here. Pretty sad, 4 people past away. I don't know what happened, but it happened at 3:00 this morning. They had to totally close down the all the westbound lanes. Noelle - hope you're not planning on coming into town.

I'm down another 1 pound today...whoohooo! The jeans I bought before I went on my trip are fitting comfortably! Maybe I can reach my goal this time around. A lot more to look forward to....and fit into! There's this dress I really like so far for my wedding. I'll post it up after this.

Noelle - Hey chicka...hope you're not fighting the traffic with your life. It was a mess trying to get into work. It's amazing how all the roads interconnect here....one lane is closed and every single freeway on the island gets backed up! That's my only complaint about living here...the roads! It may be paradise - but damn those potholes!

Julie - Nothing special really planned for tomorrow. We're going out to dinner at this nice Italian restaurant. Supposed to be real authentic italian - we'll see about that...trying to save all my carb allowances for tomorrow though! Hard to keep away from all the chocolate! And I guess all that mushy mushy stuff depends on the couple....me and Kel stopped that probaly after about 6 months. We're like an old married couple now

Anna - Aloha! Wow - I've always wanted to visit China. Just kind of scared though. I went to the Philippines about 2 years ago and it was a major culture shock for me. Sounds like fun though! Hope to get to know you better too!
