Aloha Ladies! Happy Fat Tuesday/Malassada Day to everyone! Wish I could indulge myself with some yummy crepes or malassadas, but I've come too far!

Cal - So sorry to hear about your grandmother's passing. Hope you are okay. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope you have a good trip too. You truly deserve that break. Take care!

Noelle - Glad to hear that your business is booming! I hope you find the motivation, perhaps another trip to Thailand might give you some boost? I know I'm just adamant on losing this weight before next year. I know it will take me more than a year to lose it, so I'm giving myself ALOT of time. I'm sure you can get back into the groove. Just gotta get started again.

Angie - Hope your research is going well. A weekend trip sounds nice. Wish we could do that here, but everywhere on this island only takes about 20-30 minutes to get too. Wish we could do longdriving here like on the mainland. Flying over to the next island costs an arm and a leg!

Kempy - Hope you did good on your test! Then you'll have a reason to party it up tonight! Must be real fun...but I'd probaly be real cautious. Don't want to end up on "Girls gone wild!"

Anna - How are you doing? Hope your getting in your exercise!

Well, hope everyone is okay. It's reaching the end of Feb! Whoohoo! Actually I'm just counting down to my next long weekend.

-Jacks

I did really good on my test the other day. I usually do but I still get test anxiety.
Sorry to dissapoint you guys but we didn't go to Mardi Gras any this year. I was kind of burned out and I had to be in school anyway. Yesterday was ytucky outside and there was no way we were going to be in the French Quarter with all of that filth. The worst days are the last two. All of the pee in the streets is gross.

I am glad to see a few of us still here but I miss all of the posts. I hope we can get this thing going again.

Hello girls

Kempy there is actually pee in the streets? If that I can imangine what else is there from everyone drinking too much. Yuck! I have seen parts of it on the show COPS and it looks really wild. I am glad you did good on your test.

Did you indulge yesterday Jacks? Your doing great though. Losing is better than gaining and you should reward yourself with a little treat.

Cal sorry about the loss of your Grandmother. I miss mine too. They always made you feel like EVERYTHING was going to work out and be okay. In fact I had tears when I was thinking about one of my Grandmothers who passed on.

Noelle thanks for the sun! It is actually out today. Maybe it will start melting some snow now. Don't work to hard today. Make that hubby of yours give you a nice foot rub at the end of the day ! I love foot rubs with lotion because my feet are dry and it is like pulling teeth to get my hus to do it! But when he wants something !?! TMI Hehehehe No Way!!!!

Angie come out. We will all get you feeling better. I have not lost. Up two down two. It is so hard!

Hello to everyone else. Julie

Default <<Call Me the Big BUTT Slacker>>

Hi ladies! Look who the cat drug in. I am ashamed to say I've been one big major honking slacker these past few months. I've been hibernating all winter. And I have gained back 10 pounds from where I was before. Yeah.. can't say I'm a GOOD LOSER... just a plain ole LOSER.. with a capital L!

:-)

Ok.. It's Ash Wednesday, and I have given myself the small goal of making it through Lent and stay OP and on track. I have to get back to my exercising and eating right. So, I am back.

Update on me... I am still working at my job, but we are still waiting to find out if they are going to close our office. That has been major stress for me since I am a single mom and I need this job to support myself and my two girls. This is the fourth month that my EX still hasn't helped out in ANY WAY regarding the girls finanacially, so I have been struggling, but making it. My girls are doing GREAT!!! The have been in the pushing the wrong buttons lately, but I am trying to control myself ;-) Over New Years I was in Colorado and earlier this month I went to California for a week. That was great.. a free vacation and I was pampered! :-) Other than that, I've just been working, spending time with the girls, trying not to ***** too much about the cold and hibernating because I can't stand this weather. Oh.. and eating WAY WAY too much. Shame on me is all I can say.

I hope everyone is doing great....Kempy, did you survive Mardi Gras yesterday? Angie... I just had time to read a couple of posts, but will catch up later... you are going to move???? Noelle and Jacks.... HI!! How is Hawaii? Julie, how are you doing? and HI to anyone else I missed, and to all the new people.....

OK..I am off work in an hour.... going to the fitness room and do some TREADMILL WORK!!!!!!!!

(((((HUGS)))))) I hope you guys are not too mad at me..... I will try to do better.... when I fell off the wagon I forgot how to get here and oh... my fingers were broken too...

Aloha Ladies! Happy Wednesday to all! Only 2 more days to go until I get to sleep in! I can't wait. I've been so tired lately, I don't know why. Work hasn't been too stressful lately. I just did not want to wake up this morning for some reason.

I want to go watch Passion of the Christ tonight. I hope the theatres are too crowded. That is if I can stay awake. Is anyone else planning on seeing it?

Cherie - Hey there! Glad you're back! Hey, no worries about slacking off. We've all done it! Just glad that you're back on track. We need all the support we can get. Sounds like you've kept yourself busy and hibernating. Hope the weather gets better there! How did you break your fingers?

Julie - I indulged a little yesturday and had some chocolates - a few m&m's and a piece of dark chocolate. I'm so afraid that if I let go, then all hells going to break loose and all the weight just going to start sticking back. I haven't lost anymore weight, but I am noticing that my clothes are a lot looser now.

Noelle - Did you catch Jonah on AI last night? I thought he could've done much much better. What was that song anyway? It really sucked. I hope Jasmine does a lot better next week.

Kempy - Gross! Pee??? Must be really smelly there! But I guess where there is alcohol, there's idiots who pee on the streets! Glad to here that you did good on your test. I hate tests, I always screw up on them.

Angie - Hey there! Where are you? Hope you come out. Remember, we're all here for you! Don't forget about us!

Hope everyone else is okay. Only a few more months till shorts and bikini season. Let's all get back on track and lose that weight, for our health, our self esteem, and that bikini!

Happy Hump Day everyone...it just coincidentally is my 9th wedding anniversary today too so there ya go . Anyway, I went and got a manicure/pedicure today and actually found the same nail color that I wore on my wedding day, corny but true. We don't have anything planned for tonight but might save a celebration for the weekend. I did make my own card for Rick on the computer though so I should get some credit for that.

Hey Cherie! Glad to see you back. This thread is limping right now we need all the posters we can get. Getting back on track is a great goal to set for lent, I will follow your lead. I actually had an OP day yesterday--the first time in a while! Shame on your ex for not taking responsibility! Do you get interest on any money that he's behind on? Good for you for taking good care of you and your girls though.

Jacks, I want to see the Passion too, but don't know where to go since I keep reading that most of the theaters have sold the seats in blocks and most are already sold out . I did catch Jonah on AI last night--I have no idea what that song was. He doesn't have a bad voice, but I think he did too much "frilly" stuff in the song. Unless everybody at D&B last night had some mega-fast fingers and voted for him furiously, I don't think he has a chance. Oh boy but that LaToya was awesome wasn't she, especially toward the end? That kind of sould singing gives me chicken skin!

Kempy, right near the thick of it and you guys didn't go? Aw man! Oh well, I agree that pee (and any other bodily fluids) in the streets is disgusting. Didn't you just love that yellow lab in the dishwasher? too cute.

Julie, I don't think my hubby has ever given me a foot rub--back rub yes but not my feet... mostly he just rubs me the wrong way

Angie girlfriend, how are you doing? Have you guys hit the road checking out possible new homes? Hope you're doing ok. We miss you over here Don't be a stranger.

Cal sending good thoughts your way

Anna what's happening with you today? Do you guys catch American Idol over there? You have just got to see William Hung, too funny! I just love his rendition of She Bangs it makes me smile and cry every time .

Hello to everyone else . Let's make the rest of the week a good one.

Noelle you crack me up ! Just to let you know William Hung is going to be on AI on Monday! So lets watch! Happy Anniversary, how neat about the nail color. Maybe it is a sign from god that you will as many happy years as you have had so far ! I am sure he will love the card and have a fun and sassy weekend !

Cherie glad to see you popped back in. You must be under alot of stress dealing with your ex. My mom went through the same thing with me and my brother. Just remember your kids will thank you someday for all you have done for them. I always thank my mom so I know they will . You are strong and brave for being a single mom.

Angie we miss you . Come back and talk. We will all luv ya hon!

Kempy hi I hope you had a great day today. Hope to talk to you tomorrow!

Hi to everyone else. Julie

Sorry guys I have been MIA. I am not a very good supporter right now. I am having so much trouble trying to find a good place to move. I am scared of spiders, snakes and crime. I dont want to move the kids to a huge school where they may have troubles with gangs or anything like that. (I am sure that is the country bumpkin in me. ) I dont know what to do but I know I dont make alot of money here either because there are no people. I just want to scream!!!

I cant get my *** in gear to diet. I am online all the time looking up new areas so by the time I think about exercise it is late. Food is bad. I need to get a routine back I just dont know how right now.

I am a confused fat mess right now but I wont leave you guys. You are my best buds and I love all of you.Kempy, thanks for the card. You are so sweet.

Hey everyone.. checking in for today! Thanks for all the welcome backs!!!! :-) I just got finished with doing 20 minutes on the elliptical machine... not much, but a start back. I did 20 yesterday as well. I am trying to eat better, but no where near where I was last fall. Keep plugging! :-) My friend sent me a wok and a stir-fry cookbook today, so I am going to start using that and try to eat more veggies and such.

Angie... how are you??? What is going on? Looking for someplace to move? I hope you do find something great..... Someplace warmer! :-)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY NOELLE!!!! Woo Hoo.... it looks like I am headed to my 12th if things don't change soon. It should have only been 9.... oh well... I do hope your marriage in 100 times better than mine ever was! :-)

OK.. I need to go get my munchkins.... hope everyone is doing great!

Hugs,
Cherie

Hello from beautiful cold Hawaii...that's right, I said cold. It's storming over here just like the weather guy predicted. It's 66 degrees (brrrrrr!!!! ) and we've got lightning, thunder and some major downpours--and I'm on the supposed "dry" side of the island. Anyway, rain is a blessing right? Rick and I had a nice cozy dinner last night at a sushi joint in town (Tokkuri-Tei), kind of hole-in-the-wallish but the sushi is great.

Angie, hang in there bud. Don't let your fear paralyze you. Hope you can find somewhere that suits your needs quick. I can only imagine how scary it must be to think about all the challenges and changes that come with a move. More power to ya!
You're doing a good thing for you and your kids.

Cherie, good job on getting the motivation back, exercise is always hard for me to start again too. Mmmm, stir fries are great for low-cal, low-fat meals.

Julie, I didn't get to watch last night's AI but thats ok, the results portion of the show are always the most dragged-out part. I just hit the website to find out who made it the next day. I will not miss Will Hung though, no way!

Jacks, are you enjoying the rain? I just want to go home and curl up in bed with a good book on days like these. I'm such a numb-nut! I checked the movie ads and saw that the Passion of the Christ was in most any theater! So maybe I'll catch that tomorrow--did you girls hear about that woman in Kansas who collapsed then died during the crucifixion scene? Not for the faint of heart, figuratively and literally!

Well, I'm closing up early so I don't have to deal with any traffic (heehee, I live 5-10 minutes away). Hello to Kempy, Cal, Anna, Holly, Tonya....everyone.

Aloha Ladies,

I'm not sure what happened yesturday, but sorry I didn't check in. Damn the weather has been crazy here and the stupid drivers on the road make it even WORST! What can you possibly achieve driving 10 miles an hour on the freeway except cause more accidents! Stupid people, if they can't drive in the rain, get off the road. It started pouring hard on the way to work today and this stupid taxi driver started moving into my lane! Idiot! Hello???? Put on your windshield wipers dumb ***!!!! SO SORRY - just had a bad drive into work today, great way to start the day!

Noelle - Happy Belated Anniversary! I've never been to that sushi place, I should check it out sometime. I love sushi, I think that's my only downfall. Probaly the reason why I was so attracted to Kel! Hee hee! Here's to many more years of marital bliss and evading scary tax people!!!

Angie - I hope your relocation searching gets better. I know how hard it is to find a good place to move to, especially with all your kids. I do hope you find somewhere nice to live. Make sure you get up every 2 hours or so to walk around, get on your treadmill so that you can destress a little bit and get some blood moving. Hang in there!

Cherie - Great job getting back in motion! Sooner or later you'll be back where you left off. It just takes a little time. I love stirfry too! Especially with sesame oil and oyster sauce! Yummy! Happy cooking and exercising!

Julie - Hope the weather is better there then here! Have any good plans for the weekend?

Kempy - Hi! Hope you're having a good day today! Study hard!

Oh yah, I found this cool online tool at GNC which tracks what you eat and workout, breaks down how many calories you eat and burn, carbs, proteins, fat, etc, and tracks your progress. I find it really helpful. http://fitnessplanner.gnc.com/

Well, back to work now. Hope this rain goes away real fast. I can't handle the roads anymore!!!

Hi girls

Jacks sounds like major stress driving! I hate driving on the freeways. People can be so rude and talk about road rage! Be safe. I don't have much planned for this weekend. My hus sister son has a birthday party tonight. I don't think I will be going, kinda feel under the weather. Don't know if it is allergies or a cold. I have been taking NyQuil and that stuff knocks ya out! I might try claritan or something generic like that.

Hope you have a good day at school Kemp! If I lived closer I would love you to remove some hair on me. Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Noelle don't you just love his name Will Hung? Hehehehehe I was feeling down the other day and watched his audition on the computer and laughed so hard. I can't wait to seem him on Monday night. Sometimes I love the rain. It is calming if you are in your house just listening to it pour. Glad you had a nice dinner with hus. I can't remember the last time my husband and I were out. I would probally have to much wine or beer and just enjoy that !

Hi everyone else Angie, Cherie, Cal, Holly and everyone else. Julie

Happy Friday ladies. Pigs anonymous confession time: 5 mint oreos for breakfast this morning *burp* . I ran out of cereal and milk in the office and didn't want to go out in this torrential downpour to get some food--and guess what I had in the fridge . Oh well, that's the last of 'em and I don't plan on getting more. Thank gawd Rick ate most of them yesterday. Check out the doppler map that shows the rain over the islands. I live on the island you can't see--under all the green which indicates heavy showers.
http://www.weather.com/weather/local...ocalUndeclared

Pretty neat huh?

Jacks, yup drivers don't know how to act when it's raining even a little bit! My biggest fear on the freeway during heavy rains is hitting those humungous potholes that Uncle Jeremy or Auntie Linda won't shell out the money to fix.

Julie hope you're feeling better so you can enjoy your weekend. I love the rain when I'm at home. Sitting here in this big ole warehouse though, the sound is amplified on the metal roof and it's sooooo dark it's actually kinda freakin' me out! Big chicken that I am. Take care of yourself.

Hello to Kempy, Angie, Cal, Holly, Anna...everybody. Have a great weekend.

Hey guys. It is actually nice and sunny here. Imagine that!!!!

I have 2 stray cats under my house. One is a long haired tiger and he kinda likes me. The other is a big black and white one who is really skittish. Today he was out by the deck so I went out to try to coax him to me so my Meanie comes out and chases him under the car. I made Meanie go inside and I grabbed some cat food and got him to come closer to me(He was so hungry) The poor baby is beat all to ****. His face is dug up from fighting and he has ear mites so bad. I feel so bad for him. I am going to get ahold of my vet and see if they can find a live trap and try to catch him to get him some help and a new home. He wont make it too long the way he is going right now.

Noelle, Happy Belated anniversary!!!

Noelle that map is pretty neat. Lots and lots of storms that for sure. But it looks like Sunday it might stop, so maybe you will have one nice day weather wise this weekend. I have a confession the mint oreos are my favorite ! I could eat a whole bag with or without pms.

Angie glad you got sun! Doesn't it make it a difference in moods. It sure does with mine. Poor kitties. You are such a great animal rescuer. You should have your own show on Animal Planet .
