Yes now I remember as I had lots of questions for you about your job.
Does your job include all types of insurance or just 1 type. I automatically think of car insurance, although there are lots of types. I will be laid off in January so I will probably go back to school. One of the insurance companies here is looking for a few insurance agents so what type of education and training would I be looking at?
Good to see you getting back on track after a day off. That is one thing that would help lose my motivation is trying to get back on and not beat myself up about it after a day off.
Michelle - I work for Conseco Insurance Group, we deal with annuities, life insurance and health insurance only. I am not a licensed agent so I do not know what kind of training that you need. I know there are state tests and things like that to take, also fees for getting your different licenses needed.
For me it is not hard to get back on after a day off, if anything it helps me to stay more on track, if I dont treat myself once in a while I would not stay on at all. I always give myself a goal, like this Sunday we are celebrating both of my parents birthdays, my sister is buying a cake and ice cream, so I say to myself, stay OP until that day and then I can have a peice of cake.
I dont let myself feel guilty for eating anything, I shrug it off and know that tomorrow is another day....I used to feel so guilty that I would go and throw up what I ate... I know that I was doing something really stupid...so for me guilt cannot come into it...
Well today I have to work at 9:30-6:00 shift and I do not get lunch until 1:30 so I will be starving, normally I would go at 12:00
I brought a granola bar to snack on so hopefully that will help...
I was at 26 points for the day yesterday, yeah Me!!!
Sorry it has taken me so long to write today! I worked all weekend and was beat yesterday in fact I went to bed at 730 last night. But I woke up at like 630 this morning and started to clean before I took my son to school and then I had a lunch date with my Mom (she is in a nusrsing home). And I am still wading through a ton of laundry.
No we don't have to do a Walmart chant before starting work, I was a little nervous on Saturday that was my 1st offical day out on the floor. But it wasn't bad I just have to remember to wear comfortable shoes I wore my black boots yesterday and man my feet were killing me.
I didn't do good over the weekend in fact this week I gained 3 lbs!!!!!! I think TOM is due here really soon I forgot to mark my calendar like I usually do. I have been craving some nasty sweets!!!!
Well I will check back a little later to see how everyone is doing today!!!!
Hi Michelle!!! Good to hear from you...yeah I know how that is, I am getting my TOM this Weds or Thursday and I always have crazy chocolate cravings and headaches...lovely time for me really... For us all....Sorry to hear about your three pound gain but I do not ever weigh myself right before, or during my TOM, because you will always be carrying a couple of extra pounds, so I wouldnt sweat it....work it off by doing the laundry, ha....

AGH totally not a good day for me!!!!! First off my Mom wanted Chinese for lunch so ok I bought and I shared hers with her and I had a shrimp roll. Well I would have been ok for the day then if I could have avoided 2 mini size snicker bars........AGH the agony of TOM I wish it would just start and be done with!!!!!
Another thing that is weird I have been craving milk!!!! This is coming from someone who totally does not drink milk in general! I don't know what is up with that but I figured if my body says to drink it I am going to. We use 2% so that should be ok I hope!!!

It hasn't been a good eating day for me. breakfast nil, lunch 2 cheese sticks and some yogurt. Today is going way to fast with too much to do.
Michelle I asked about the Walmart chant because the walmart here does do a chant and have done for the last 3 years everyday before the day starts. Motivates the staff I guess.

Michelle - Dont be too hard on yourself, I too gave in last night and had a mini payday and a mini kitkat...those darn halloween snack sizes are too good....actually it only took me over to 30 points though, so just one over, not too bad I guess...like I said my TOM is probably Thursday and the chocolate craving is horrible so I am just bracing myself for the binge...I need that candy out of my house, but then what would the trick or treaters get?

Kathy - I dont think that WW still has the program that you can have the weekends off....but if that is the way that you want to do it, just do the program M-F and then eat what you want on the weekends, however I dont know that you would see good weight loss from that...on WW I pretty much eat what I want anyway just in normal portions and not super fatty...
Okay so like I said only one point over yesterday so I dont feel too bad about that, I will eat one or two points less today...

Good morning girls! No Carrie I am off today WAHOOO!!!! Then I work the rest of the week from 730am to 330pm. I don't mind those hours but soon I will working some really odd ones. I guess they don't do the chant Kathy because we are a 24 hour Walmart and everyone comes in at different times. I honestly don't know.
Ok today I vow to get back on track........I can do this I know I can it is just a mind thing for me I think.......I am not really hungry sometimes when I eat I just do it for something to do I think. But I will do this one step at a time!!!!!

I Have lost about 3.5 pounds in the last two weeks, about 6 in the past 3 1/2 weeks...so I am proud of that...but like I said I wont be doing any dance until I am in onederland, as they call it...
I cant wait....!!!!
Michelle you will get back on track...having to write in here what I ate has helped me alot, it makes me more accountable...now we have to slap you on the hand for being off program and tell you to get back on it...TODAY!!!

4.5 points total 19.5 left for the day...having a big dinner tonight so I am trying to be point smart and eat light till then.
I don't mind the 730-330 shift but next week it gets all jumbled up different times like I have a noon till 9pm. That is going to a pain in the butt!!!!! I don't know why they just use the same schedule week after week people would perform better I think.
I have to run out to the grocery store this afternoon to get my baking potatoes and some soups for work for the rest of the week. Carrie did you try that velvty potato one yet? I really liked that one alot!!!!!! I heard they have a chicken & stars one for 1 point same thing the soup at hand. I have to check that one out too!
