Hi Kim,
Great news about the house. Where is it located? (not that I know my way around New York. Just know what the coffee shop prop looks like that is in Seinfeld.) Sounds exciting. After your bad luck you will sure enjoy this and it will bring your spirits up. I hope everything is good with your husband now. So after tommorrow you will be able to relax about the house but frantically get everything packed and ready to move out. At least if your teaching partners are crabby on Friday you won't even notice because you'll be to happy to even notice.
You must be a very caring and trusting person is what makes people special and that is to bad that you have had some people who have taken advantage of you. How come that old saying is so true "Hindsight is 20/20"?
I seem to have alot of things that annoy me lately. Driving is a big one! Although I live in a small city so driving is probably nothing like it is there. Oh and the other thing is when people (my mother in law tonight) thinks that I am dumb.
She wants Mark to make sure that I found a good babysitter and maybe he should check up on my choice.

At the stable where my daughter rides they are selling a horse for $50,000.00 and she thinks that we should make payments on it. Yeah not in this lifetime. So my question for the day is if you had that much extra money around what would you do with it for yourself? Not pay bills or kids college education because this is extra free money!
I think I would hire a housekeeper and a personal chef for a year. Maybe add a personal trainer that would come to my house and kick me off my butt to do some working out. Do you think that much money would just about cover that? If not I would just hire a limo and a driver to chauffer my kids around to everywhere they need to go.

Well I'm off. Enjoy your day tommorrow.

The house is REALLY mine - closing is done with - if I had all that extra $$$ I would buy all new furniture for my new house. We move in another week because the contractors are painting the entire inside and putting in new carpets and floors and an outside deck - so now I really am out of $$$$ LOL Who cares! i got the house - lucky you have a good day! Where is everyone else these days??? Fondly, KIM

Hi everyone!

Way to go KIM! Congrats on the new house. I am so glad that everything worked out for you!

The thing that really annoys me most is our cashier at work! She is a chronic bragger and she never stays at her desk. I always have to stop what I am doing and cover for her! She is quite a talker and you can never get away from her. When I am in deep thought in a medicare claim, or researching new laws on the web, I have to stop and take a payment or answer her phone. I am going to tie her to her *&$@ chair one of these days!

If I had $50,000 to spare I couldn't tell you right off hand what I would do with it. I do know that it wouldn't go very far this day and time. I am going to look at another horse Saturday, and they are asking $1,800 for her. Boy, I thought that was a big price!

Oh by the way Kim, I have a 7 yr old boy that is starting to drive me bonkers, too. He has always been so loving and attentive towards me, but now he is starting to have awful temper tantrums. He will scream, lie in the floor and kick, throw things, or whatever! I was starting to think he had emotional problems. I am glad someone else is going thru the same thing.

Well, I have done really well for a few days on the eating, until tonite. I made choc. chip cookies for the kids and I must have eaten 10 of them. I have no willpower when it comes to sweets!

Well, I gotta run. E.R. comes on in abut 10 mins.

Have a great Friday!!!!

Good evening everyone,

Kim - this is super. How is the air way up there near the ceiling?
That is sure a great way to get through a Friday with your grumpy teaching partners.

Happy - Are you able to leave your desk for a minute or 2 when she leaves her chair? I use to go hide out in our storage closet at work for a few minutes and dab a little sunscreen (the coconut kind) on my wrist, close my eyes and think of what an exotic holiday would be like. Would she then have to do her job? Or would anyone notice.
Kristi is trying get us to let her buy another horse also. They want $1500.00 what a difference!

Hi Tracy glad to see you had just a little time to pop in. Hope everything is going ok.

The kids were sick with the flu today, so I just spent time getting them this and that and running to the store for gatorade and gingerale. My 12 year old boy who is going through what now sounds like "boy behavior" said to me "Thanks mom for everything you did for me. I really love you" I said your very welcome that is my job and it always will be.
How come kids can drive you up the wall one minute and you think you are going to lose your mind and then the next make your heart just melt and think I have the greatest kids ever? Is it going to be like this throughout all their teenage years?

Good night,
Lucky

Good morning ladies, how are things. Things here are quite well. I went to GNC yesterday and got some metabolism enhancers-hoping to gain some energy and loose a few pounds. My husband came home from work yesterday, after being gone for 15 days, he claims he saw a difference in my body so that inspired me to keep at it. Too bad I caved and had Mcdonalds at Walmart. But "New Day" today so back on the wagon. I wasn't on yesterday so here's my answer to the question of the day. If I could have any job I also would be a nurse. Hubby and I have talked about me going to school to get it but I'm afraid to leave my comfort zone and try something new. Also I know the schedule of a nurse doesn't work for a mom with a husband that works out on the road. So that holds me back too. A couple years ago I went and complete my first year of insurance broker, enjoyed it but when in came time to register for the 2nd year, hubby had also gone back to school and we decided that I would hold off until he was done so the household had one income. And now that that time is here it doesn't spark my interest anymore. I DON"T KNOW WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP!! Thought wedding coordinator could be my calling after I planned my own, but then watching Bridzilla on TV, kinda changed my mind. However watching the girls that work at curves-that seems to be good. I was thinking about maybe presuing that when I get more educated on diets and the machines. You get to wear comfy workout clothes ALL DAY. Hope everyone has a great day.

Oh Lucky, I am so afraid of the teenage years, too. I have heard some real horror stories! They say that when the hormones hit, you just have to ride the rough waves and it will pass. I will be 44 when mine are 15 and 16 ...I'm just not sure I will have the energy (mentally or physically) to make it through it.

Fluffy, I kinda crashed yesterday, too. I gorged on choc. chip cookies last nite, then ate frozen yogurt at 4 am. What is up with that? Today, my boss bought a seven layer chocolate cake and I ate two generous slices of it! What a dummy!
Like you said, tomorrow is a new day....I will promise to do better!

Well, I gotta run, I have a seven year old trying to read over my shoulder.

See you tomorrow!

Hi everyone

Its Friday. I only have 2 more days before I have to go back to work. I have to get all my work clothes out and hope that some of them still fit me. I have to figure out what I am going to do with my hair. I am such a wreck. But at the same time I am excited also. I could sure go for some cookies right now but I don't have any in the house and I don't want to make any. Hubby took a week of holidays because he didn't want the baby to go to the babysitters yet so that will be great bonding time for them.

Happy, I am 34 right now and starting the teenage years. Then I will finally get through them just to start them all over again when I am 47. Maybe by the time we are in our 40's there will be pep in a bottle that we can use. All natural energy!
What fun you get to go look at another horse tommorrow. Hope the price seems more reasonable now.

Fluffy, Have you heard anything of Herbal Magic? We just got one here and I was trying to find out a few things about it before I go in there. Is GNC a health store for all health products or just weight loss and body building? Maybe after a few months you might feel like going back to finish your insurance broker course.

Annie if you have time to pop on I hope things are going well for you.

Tracey hope that your hanging in there and you can make it through the next month when things calm down for you.

Kim I am thinking of you and all your excitement that you will be having for the next month or so. Will you be going in to check on them as they do the contract work or will you wait to go in until there done and be surprised?

Well goodnight to all.
Lucky.

Hi Everybody!!! Its Saturday and I have a ton to do!!! I woke up laughing hysterically - I felt like I was drunk!!! Hubby woke up pissed and yelling so I was glad that he took my youngest to hockey practice! God, I hate when we are not in sync. We have a ton to do today - picking out flooring and carpeting, buying the little stuff for the house, etc. and it is pouring out - not to mention that we have to bring the little stuff to the new house before the movers show up on Monday - not to mention my 3 wild ones that have to come with us because my mil decided to go on vacation and that leaves us with no babysitter! LOL Anyways - he will NOT ruin my good mood - I have waited 14 years for this house and I am going to enjoy every minute of it - BLAH on him if he wants to be cranky!!! Talk about fear of the teenage years - I will have an 18 (going off to college-boy), 16 year old girl (dealing with boys and driving), and a 14 year old boy (dealing with puberty) while I probably go thru menopause - I think that is beyond scary!!! LOL That will teach hubby to be cranky in the younger years!! LOL Lucky, will do just fine going back to work next week - what a great idea to have hubby stay home the first week. What do you do again? You should get your haircut this weekend - even if it is a trim. The clothes - here is an idea - try on everything and the things that don't fit right now - take right out of your closet and put away until another time - things that you do not like - just get rid of - don't give it a second thought just do it. This will cut down on choosing time and confusion (Miss. organization here at work LOL) Half the battle of going back to work is picking out the clothes so that you feel good - make it easy on yourself. Leave ONLY the clothes that fit and look good. Tracy - good to see you again - you really are busy doing lots - how did you get to this point since the last time we chatted? I need details!! LOL Fluffy and Lucky - at least you are at a point in your dieting that you can say you crashed one day - I still can't get off the 6 month binge I have been on. I am so disguisted with myself - I went out last night to buy furniture and a washer and dryer and I stopped at Taco Bell - had one taco was fine but No I ordered two more burritos for later then went down the street and bought Krispy Kreme donuts and ate three none of which I really needed or wanted. How bad is that? But, you know what, I am going to lose weight - really soon - I can't stand being FAT - and that is exactly what I am - I loved the feel of being skinny ( I lost 88 pounds in a year about 18 months ago). They (whoever they are) said it usually takes two tries to keep the weight off - well this will be my second time so look out world here I come. So what is everyone doing this weekend? Anything fun? Well, I will write more later - Oh by the way hubby just called from the hockey rink to apologize for being rude - guess there is hope for today!!! LOL Fondly, KIM

Hi Kim,

Wow what a day. Its a great thing you woke up so happy. That will sure help you deal with the day and a cranky hubby. Shopping, oh how I love shopping. That is my main source of exercise.

I manage a clothing store. I almost think I should go down today and buy a new outfit for work. My hairdresser is booked for the next week but maybe I can bribe her to come to my house tommorrow.

I love Taco Bell. Good thing we don't have one here. My hubby who is the better cook figured out how to make tacos that taste better and are better for us. I think they are better for us. That is what I tell myself.

What ww sytem did you do before that you were able to lose so much weight on? Because wow that is great. And yes with your new house and feeling so great It will give you something to feel great about and you will be so busy you probably won't notice it comming off. You'll look in the mirror and be amazed. I was on the fruit and fiber diet that ww came out with q few years ago. I was thinking of trying that again. Might work.

Nothing fun planned for this weekend. Just getting the household organized for my absence. Going through the closet. Thanks for those tips.

Have fun today, and will ttyl.
Kathy.

Hello ladies. Well this weekend went tot he dogs. I had to work a double shift on Friday and decided since I have to work 13 hours I get to eat whatever I want, well Saturday morning work up with such horrible tummy troubles that I spend every 1/2 hours in the bathroom. I haven't figured if my tummy problems are from all the crap I ate Friday, the flu, or the new Metablism pills I bought. If anyone knows anything about GNC Pro Performance CUTS and if they cause bad tummy problems please let me know so I will stop taking them. It's now Sunday, I was up every couple of hours with my tummy, and decided not to take the pills just to see if things subside.
If I'm feeling back to normal tomorrow but to the diet and no more crap food.

Hi Ladies, I posted Saturday on here but must have put it under the wrong thread. So the diet thing over this weekend I guess you could say I did great. I
haven't been able to keep anything inside my body since Saturday AM-I have had the flu. The worst flu I have ever encountered-must have lost 3 piounds easily. I'm feeling better now, food isn't appealing to me yet, so ginger ale has been my pal. Hope it's low in carbs. I'm getting antsy at curves they won't measure or wiegh you under your mark day (once a month). Mine is the 15th of every month, can't wait to see what I have done or not done. I have a question for the evening. What is your Favorite Disney movie. I bring this up because Lion King is coming out on DVD and that my favorite. Close to it is Beauty and the Beast.

Fluffy - are you sure it wasn't those pills? I have heard they can make you quite ill - flu like symptoms. Be careful!!! If they are not the cause - how are they working? The contractors started today - that means I am one day closer to actually living in my new house Work was hectic today - I finally got a chance to talk to my student teacher's supervisor and let him know what was going on - it was hard to read him - whether he was believing what I was saying or just going thru the motions! I just don't care anymore - I have tried to work with her but she thinks she knows it all - so I guess she has to fall on her face to learn anything! How is everyone else? Fondly, KIM

Hi everyone!

Just a quick check-in. I don't have a lot of time right now. but wanted to pop in and say hi.

I have been sooo bad the past couple of days. My co-workers are sabotaging my diet!!! Not on purpose, it is just that I have absolutely no willpower against sweets. I went to the chiropractor and he gave me a supplement that is supposed to help my body fight the sugar cravings. Today is my first day on them, so I'll let you know if they work later one.
Well, I gotta run. See ya later.

Yeah, it was the flu. Hubby took me into the hospital Sunday afternoon. After 3 bags of IV, a shot of gravel and one of demoral, I was feeling better monday. Doctor said they have been seeing alot of it lately. Tuesday today and feeling almost back to normal. Went to the gym, work and had a GOOD supper (potatoes, steak etc) before going back on the diet tomorrow.
