Welcome Susie! We are so glad to have you. I am feeling your pain with the sick child. My 2 have been sick with one thing or another for 4 weeks now. They both started a round of penicillin for strep throat Friday, and now DS is breaking out in little bumps

I don't know what is up with that, but I do know that I am ready for everyone to be WELL

!!!!!
Cathy, the horses, oh the horses. Well, the mare is very, very spooky and a little too much for me right now. Scout is a total butt-head and is very stubborn!

He refuses to gait properly. He is worse than riding a quarter horse.......so terribly bumpy that you can hardly stay in the saddle and does not neck rein, so you have to have 2 hands on the bridle. That leaves no hands for the saddle horn

Fancy (the McCurdy) is so sweet and extemely loving on the ground, but is not exactly what I would call dead broke to ride. She has chipped a piece of her hoof off on the bud sometime last nite or this morning and we had to call her former owner to come and "doctor" her up. She was bleeding pretty good for a while, but we got it stopped and medicated and vet wrapped it. I hope she will be fine.

Both these horses need an awful lot of work and I am not sure that I am the one they need to give it to them. They need someone more experienced to work with them. Oh well, I will do the best I can. I just hope I don't get hurt. I am too old to take those falls anymore.
Kim, where are you, honey? You can get off the treadmill long enough to post you know

. Just kidding, I hope things are going well for you. I know you are busy planning the big T-giving feast.

Are we invited?
Oh Susie, by the way, we are neighbors....Georgia/Alabama. Another southern gal. Hope to hear more from ya' soon.
Well, I gotta run. Tomorrow is Monday...............again.
