Last night was the banquet for the year end award and today was a buffet luncheon at a meeting. I did not do good with my choices

Everything here is frozen......except the grass still looks nice and green. I'm thinking about moving the garden for next year. I want to do all raised beds. I sold my round pen and I think that would be a good spot for it. The guys said they could make the beds out of pallets and we have a big pile of topsoil. We have a well right near where I want to put it so water won't be a problem.

Have a good Monday!

Discovered a leak under my kitchen sink so had to fix the leak and clean up the mess. Not a big deal. Weather was nasty. We had some sleet then rain then the sun came out.

Enjoy your Tuesday!

Glad you discovered the leak under your kitchen sink before it caused major damage. I had a water problem in my dining room tonight, only because I watered my Boston ferns too much. ha ha ha.

I think I have problems with portion sizes too. I get so hungry that I overfill my plate. Today I tried getting only only the square piece of Eggplant stuff. I got full from it, but only because it didn't have much flavor. I was hungry again later.

I will have to figure something out.

Thanksgiving is coming right up!!! Next week it will be here. I need to start planning what I want to do for it. I saw a lady last weekend with a overflowing cart buying stuff for Thanksgiving. She was smart getting it early. I bet you already have all your ingredients too.

My dog sure is frisky with this cooler weather. Just a ball full of energy. Plus he has started scratching again, so that is either from him getting ready for his winter coat or due to the heater running in the house. Probably the heater.

Have a nice Wednesday!

You're right I do have everything for Thanksgiving except for the turkey , which I will pick up this Thursday. My grocery store ran a promotion - if you spend enough at the store, you get a free frozen turkey.

My horses are frisky too, but because the gnats and flies are gone. They love the cooler weather. They look like a bunch of yaks with all the heavy winter hair.

Tomorrow night I have a horse themed meet and greet at a local restaurant. It should be fun and something different to do.

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Hope you have/had fun at your horse meet & greet. That sounds fun! I am getting excited for the season. I am looking forward to seeing what events will be going on in our local area to attend to help keep in the spirit of the season. I saw on TV that ION will start showing Christmas shows on Sunday. I think they were the station that played them all day last year too. I am looking forward to that.

Well I guess I should plan a walking event this weekend and see if I can get anyone else in the local area to join in. Got to keep this body moving. Ha ha.

Hope you have a fantastic Thursday!

Nice the sun finally decided to shine today. It warmed up nicely by noon too for a little while. Hope the rest of the week will be nice like that.

I have walks or jogs planned for the next 3 days. So I hope to find someone to join in. If not, I'll still have my little buddy. He is happy to go. So I won't be alone.

Need to get back on track with my elliptical machine. It will do a great job, but I have to use it to get to that point.

Have a nice Friday!!

It was very windy with some rain this morning, then the sun came out. Got my free turkey today. It's a 17 pounder. I will have lots of leftovers

On Saturday I decorate my church for our Thank Offering service. We take a special offering for the local food pantry.

Enjoy your walks!

Was cold and blustery out, but Chris was home and I wanted 2 burning bushes removed from the side of the house. He could pull one out with the tractor, but the other was too big and we thought it might break up the foundation of the house so he got the chainsaw and cut it off. I had lots of branches to clean up and a hole to fill from where he pulled the one out. Then we had a couple of yews that need trimming. The sun was nice but the wind was cold.

Have a great Saturday!

Beautiful day today, still cool, but nice. Spent time walking and time shopping at Lowe's for house improvement stuff.

A 17 lb turkey!! That is great. You will have to freeze some to have meals later too. Definitely a great deal!!

Today's weigh-in shows.........down 1 lb. Yeah! I will take it or any small amount. I hope you have some loss too!
Just need to get myself going and I need that bit of motivation.

Have a good Sunday!

Another nice day. Started off walking in the rain, but it turned sunny later today. However, it was very windy all day. Started to get another migraine headache today. Fought with it all morning and it finally went away this afternoon. Perhaps because I didn't eat something before walking or maybe it was something in the Tofu scramble. I don't know. I just know it started on a Sunday once again. Oh and then there is the weather too. Ha ha. Once more thing to figure out.

I went to Church today, but didn't stay for the bible study class afterwards, because I wasn't feeling well.
I hope your Thanks Offering Service at Church turned out well today.

Well this week will be a battle in eating healthy for sure or even in portion sizes. I will have to come up with some good healthy meals. Still haven't looked through my recipes and cookbooks. I will probably get to it around Tuesday night. Yes, I know that is really planning for it late, but we will be okay.

Hope you have a nice Monday!

I'm glad your migraine went away. You sure got in a lot of exercise.

Yes, my church service was wonderful. We raised a good amount for our local food bank.

Next, we're having an all you can eat pancake breakfast with Santa at my church. I'm taking flyers around to the elementary schools tomorrow. We usually have a good turn out and lots of fun.

I'm sure you'll find some good recipes. I find many online.

Have an awesome Monday!

Sounds like you are doing a lot of good works for the season. That is terrific! Sounds like a lot of fun.
Tomorrow we have a chili cook off at work. I was going to make something, but no one was very excited about eating something without meat in it. There were also no Tofu messages placed in my office, so I definitely got the hint. So I will just bring in some tortilla chips and some guacamole, that way everyone is happy.

I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

I wanted to trim down my butterfly bush today, but it was so windy and cold I changed my mind. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow. We had a dusting of snow last night and it was so pretty when I went outside this morning.

Nothing else too exciting around here. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
