Today was a nice day. I had off. Took the dog for a walk in the morning. Went to the dentist. Then went and ate at a new restaurant and got a mixed salad. Visited a friend for about 30 minutes. Then went to the river and Jack had a good swim/fetch session for about 45 minutes, then we went for a two mile walk, and fished with some ice cream by the dock for us both. They have ice cream for dogs now too. Then headed home and ordered a veggie pizza from Papajohns, and saved half of that for tomorrow. Finishing up some laundry now.
Tomorrow morning, I am headed to do another walk in the morning in an Aboretum. They have a designated trail for dogs, which is good, because I wouldn't want to have him pee on the wrong trees. Reminds me of the time we went to my brothers house at Christmas and they had two dogs in their house that came to meet mine. Dogs being dogs.....he had to pee on their Christmas tree just to say "Hi I am a male", and not once, not twice, but three times. Oh so very very very embarrassing. Now when we visit, I keep him on a leash so there is no peeing on the trees or anything else in the house. He is a good dog now.
Tomorrow is weigh-in Hope we both have some success this week!

You had a busy, fun day. And tomorrow sounds great too. Enjoy!
Finally got all the peppers picked and in the freezer, then took the supports for the tomatoes down. The gnats were awful! Chris mowed everything off and we put the garden to bed till next year.

I am sorry to learn that your mother-in-law had a stroke a few days ago. That is so sad. She is having a rough year. I hope she does well at home. You must have a very busy schedule tending to the farm and her too. I am sure she appreciates it even if she doesn't show it.
I hope your weigh-in today was good. My Weigh-in surprisingly showed no loss. Perhaps my body is just toning up right now.
Just had a bug run across my neck and chest, ugh, and then it ran down my arm after I tried to knock it off. So thinking I was fine, something just flew on my ear. Perhaps it was the same bug, I don't know, but I am really getting bugged out. Probably picked them up when I was washing my screens on the porch. I definitely will be taking a shower soon to feel clean again.
Walked with my dog at the Aboretum today. It was nice winding through woods and meadows. The trees are starting to turn colors too. Saw a deer, black snake, a turtle, and some goats in a pen. We had a fun day.

1/2 hr. evening barn chores
1 hr. housecleaning
Meals
oatmeal with blueberries
banana

Rained a bit this morning, then got very hot and humid. I decided to do some housecleaning while the house was empty. Sam was working and Chris was out. I really worked up a sweat! More rain for tomorrow but we really needed it. The grass was getting very dry and crunchy. Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow.....
We only got a misting yesterday morning and a light sprinkling in the evening. Very very humid though.
Spent the day cleaning house and doing bills. My husband is back after his trip away visiting family for about a week. He arrived back early this morning and went straight to bed. He had been traveling all night. I can't do that. I like to see things when I drive, and when it gets dark, my body says sleep, sleep. Now I have some extra laundry to do too, compliments of the hubby.
Meals
Slimfast
Grapes
Veggie Soup
Tangerines
Bean and cheese burrito
I hope that rain is headed our way. We need it so bad. However, got enough of that humidity. I am sweating like crazy this evening. Last night too. Have to take showers twice a day.
What did you read? I started reading some books by James Patterson. Something different, and I like them. Guess he is pretty popular, and has been for years. Never heard of him before, but just picked up a book in the library by chance.
Exercise
1 1/2 hrs. morning barn chores
1/2 hr. evening barn chores
Meals
oatmeal with blueberries
banana
pancakes
salad, stuffed pepper
It was beautiful out today! Did some housework and laundry, then headed outside. I want to redo my flower beds around the house. The shrubs are overgrown and I have a hard time pulling weeds. I want to remove most of the plants and either put mulch or stone down. I'll replant the shrubs down by our big equipment building. I'll wait until the burning bushes change color and we have a frost.
Meals
Slimfast
Grapes
Veggie Soup
Tangerines
Hard boiled egg
Bean and cheese burrito
Sounds you look have the Fall bug to get things set up for next year. Burning a lot of calories in that yard work too.
Today I had to pick up some dog food next to the Giant Grocery store. I thought about heading into Giant to pick up a cookie, but didn't have really any other reason to go in there. Thought about my bulging belly which has already had too many cookies, and that prevented me from going into Giant. One day at a time.....

1 1/2 hrs. morning barn chores
1/2 hr. evening barn chores
Meals
oatmeal with blueberries
banana
egg sandwich
fruitcup, chicken cacciatore
Did a few things around the house, then it rained.
Tomorrow I have my yearly eye exam. I have early stage macular degeneration, so we need to keep an eye on it, though there's nothing you can do about it.
My eyes aren't too bad. I use the readers you can buy at the drugstore.
I haven't been reading any books, just catching up on my magazines.
Exercise
15 minutes elliptical
15 minute walk
15 minute walk
Meals
Slimfast
Veggie Burger, Fries, and Tea
Peach
Macular degeneration...I am sorry to learn about that. I hope the Doctor told you today that your eyes are staying stable. I hope it doesn't get worse for you.
Well it finally decided to rain today, just a slow drizzle and mist all day.
Was a busy day for me today so didn't get to exercise as much as I like.
The Humane Society has an event this weekend, but it will probably rain. It is suppose to go on rain or shine. I may go to that with my dog for the walk. I think there is a Fall festival that I will go to as well.
Good news from the eye doctor. No change in my eyes so I don't need to see her again till next year.
What a change in the weather! I was cold all day. Going to a friends house tomorrow for lunch. I told her I would bring dessert so I'm making an apple crisp.
Hope the weather is nice for you and Jack this weekend.

1 1/2 hrs. morning barn chores
1/2 hr. evening barn chores
Meals
oatmeal with blueberries

Had a very nice lunch and visit with my friend. Lots of good conversation.
It was cloudy and chilly, I hope the sun shines tomorrow. I want to trim back my wisteria tree. It's gotten out if control. It's rather invasive and really grows quick.
I doubt I'll see any good news with my scale tomorrow. Hope you do better than me.....
