Another beautiful day! Hope you were able to get out and enjoy it. We spent most of the afternoon at the flea market. I didn't buy anything, but had a good time looking.

Took the air conditioner out. I guess that means cooler weather is on the way.

Have a great Monday!

Sunday was a gorgeous day. I also walked for 3 hours like you, but in the afternoon at the State Park. Had a wonderful time. My dog loved it too.

I had Stanley Steamer come in and do our carpet when we first moved in. However, they did nothing for the area next to the walls. Told me that there was nothing they could do for it. Probably just making the job easier for themselves. Maybe I should rent a motorized carpet cleaner/scrubber so I don't wear my arms out, and it may work better and quicker.

No air conditioner!?!?!? Yes, I believe the cooler weather is headed our way. Suppose to get rain after midnight and tomorrow. That will drop the temperatures too.

I did a great job today avoiding all the candy at work. I just didn't look at it. One day at a time.

Have a great Tuesday.

I have a Hoover steam cleaner and it does a great job.

I put away all the garden gnomes, frogs and turtles I had around in the flower beds. Then I had some big bags of old potting soil and dumped it in the garden. We're supposed to get some heavy rain and high wind tomorrow. It will probably knock the pretty leaves off the trees. My maple tree is still green. It usually is one of the last to turn a golden yellow.

You did good resisting the candy!

Have an awesome Tuesday!

Rained hard here this morning and was real windy, then the sun came out. Chris brought home a basket of apples so I made a big pot of applesauce. I'll freeze some of it. I went out to lunch with a friend and just had a nice day.

Have a great Wednesday!

Hope you had a Happy Sunday! It was a nice day here, a little overcast, but perfect weather. I spent it catching up on laundry, groceries, and bills. I was so glad to have the extra hour today. I took my dog for a nice walk this morning. I love going for walks with him. It starts my day out just right. This evening I baked some butternut squash and then added some gluten free pasta (brown rice/quinoa) and sage. The squash was little a little overcooked for what I wanted, but it still tasted good. Just not in pieces, more a spread. A quick alternative to ravioli. I forgot to add the toasted sliced almonds, but maybe next time.

I didn't lose any weight since my last weigh-in. I think I may have gained 1/2 pound, however, I won't count it right now because I was partially dressed. So I plan on weighing in officially next Saturday. That way I can work on this extra weight I feel I really have gained.

Hope you have a fabulous Monday!!

I avoided all the Halloween candy today at work. There was a bunch of it too. Suspect it will be there all week, since there is so much of it. I think my will power is stronger today though. First days are always good. Second days are harder.

Guess we need to get ready for temps in the 30-40's coming up. That will be a shocker to my body tomorrow morning. This morning was so nice I had to roll up my sweatshirt sleeves. Tomorrow I bet I will be wearing a coat and hat.

My husband painted my bathroom for me and put up a new shower curtain rod. It looks so much nicer now. I really like it. It is a shade of pale green, so it looks good with shades of green or brown. Just right for my green and tan stripped towels I bought at JC Penney a few months ago.

Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

What a rainy, cold, and dreary day. I hope you are doing okay.

Avoided the candy and cakes at work today. Still doing good. Need to work some of these extra fat layers off my body. I can feel them adding up around my middle. Ugh!

Have a holiday on Friday! Got to start planning for something to do. I guess it will be in the blustery cold weather. Ha ha.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Hope you had a nice trip. It must have been nice to revisit your former country. Did you get free time to tour around? Did Mark go with you?

It's snowing here!!!!!!!!!! And cold! Supposed to go down to 19 Friday night.

I stayed the same. Not doing very well with my portions and I have a lot of banquets and parties coming up. I'll keep trying....

Snow! You have snow!! Wow that is cold. We are in the 40's here, but suppose to go down to the 20's on Friday and teens on Saturday. So guess you will be much colder there. Hope you stay warm and your babies in the barn too.

I traveled by myself. I did get a few minutes free to visit with my former neighbors. It was nice to see them again.

Your food choices are good I see. Mine were lousy today. I should have brought a lunch with me. Didn't have a chance to exercise like I wanted. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Have a nice Thursday!

Have an awesome Thursday!

You are so good doing that Fall House cleaning! Sounds like you got a good workout too. Some people still do it. Not as many I think though as earlier years. I started on my a few weeks ago. Still have half a house to do.

Got a new shower head in my bathroom. Will see how well it works tomorrow.

Hope you have a fabulous Friday!

Congratulations!!! Another year of Grand Champion!!! Yippee!!!

Today I was bundled up for my walk. It was a lovely morning. Did some bills and then headed to Wal-mart to get a pre-lit tree for our bedroom. We have one corner of the room where nothing really goes, so thought about putting a plant or small tree in there, but not enough light. So just decided to get something with lights instead and we can use all year long. Hopefully it will not be too bright and will work more like a night light. I will find out soon when I set it up.

Stood on the scale today and saw the numbers change......but in the wrong direction......Up 2 lbs. Yup! I was upset about that. After doing some stretching exercises (by myself), I dragged my husband to the scale too. He was surprised to see his numbers were up too. So hope that gave him some encouragement to work a little harder on this together.

We were both good when we went to the grocery store tonight. No free cookie for me, and he didn't buy chips/soda. Now I just need to figure out how to get him walking with me again. We did talk about moving our TV into the exercise room, but decided against it. Perhaps we can find a cheap tv somewhere to put in there.

I hope your weigh-in was more successful than ours. Good job getting the house cleaning done. Hope you had fun at your banquet. Once again, congratulations.

Have a sensational Sunday!

Slept in to 6AM today. Probably because I was awake from 3-4 AM. At least I was able to get some sleep. Squeezed in a walk and still made it to church only a few minutes late. Clipped my Boston ferns today and brought them in the house. We had frost this morning, and I knew they wouldn't last much longer outside. All the rest of my mums and other flowers have wilted from the frost. So I will need to cut them back next weekend or so. Nothing much else going on here. Hope you had a nice Sunday and a better Monday.
