Oh well, that's a relief. I wouldn't want you to be cramped.... That should be big enough for stray dogs and cats as well.
I have spent the entire day on the computer. My monitor is doing well. I am getting used to the gigantic-ness of it. All that white space. I had to turn off the lamp we usually use in here, just too much light.
The only other thing I have done all day is look at my garden. Two of my tomato plants are getting way unruly. Too voluminous for the stakes I've been using. I have 2 cukes almost ready to eat. Isn't that exciting? Also my very healthy looking pepper plants are starting to flower. In this neck of the woods, we don't expect much from vegetable gardens before August. I don't think I'll see too much in the way of tomatoes or peppers before September. There's exactly one tomato that is looking like it might be ready in a couple of weeks. All the rest are niblet sized or still in the flower stage.
Well you've been moooooving around a lot this weekend, y'all.
LoLo-- so sorry about painful cortisone shot... any hope of PT so you can get your drivers and woods back in the swing? I don't really "get" golf, but I'd love to have a "sport" where you get to walk and it's green, preferably with good looking, nicely dressed guys hanging around. (Better than pool, billiards or snooker, which I love to play, but can't stand the smoke, smokers or shaggy hangers on.)
OK. I'm living in a virtual desert here in Tx... what is a GFI plug? and how could an inspector tell if you had one from the OUTSIDE?
(It reminds me of a joke I heard this morning on Prairie Home Companion:
Q:What did the Maxi Pad say to the fart?
A: You are the Wind Beneath My Wings.)
Kiwi... congrats on big new monitor. DH and I went and looked at Gateway's today... I can replace my whole set up (if I get the Pentium wannabe) for under $600. Not bad... And' I'd have a DVD player and CD read/write. Don't know how much I'd use it, but I might just have to learn. For how much stuff is stored on this one, maybe I'll have to get a zip back up, too in order to transfer everything. What a plight.
Had to put new tires ($) on car Friday... so I'm not sure where computer money is going to come from. I don't see any $20's hanging from the crape myrtles. And I'm wanting to go to MA to see DD's new place sometime this fall. She's quite the adventuress and it will be a challenge to keep up with her.
Gotta see if DH is asleep, hungry, or what. Tomorrow, ladies!
(Insert deity of your choice here) be praised! After 15 years we FINALLY bought new living room furniture. A puffy, fluffy giant sofa with tons of pillows and a little two-seater to go with it. Usual waiting time 8-10 weeks, but they happened to have both of them in the warehouse and voila! No more depressing dark brown chosen-by-dh-before-we-got-married sofa!!
Miraculously down to 154! Probably because it's impossible to eat in this scorching heat. Did you know that skinny flab looks even worse than fat flab? I think I need a few muscles.
Cherry! Do I see you're down to 179? Woohoo! You must have some muscles!

i love weird al.
i've taken a muscle relaxant. The dr said it would help. Am I going to collapse due to no muscle control?
I've won a shirt on ebay. DS is thrilled.
Sugar, new furniture? How exciting. I love those fluffy, cushy couches with tons of pillows. Now you'll never go out.
I have to address the dump...so do my kids. This place looks pretty bad because DH won't be home till 8. When will I grow up? I hear some people have standards.
I think the muscle relaxant is working. Do you think it's all in my head?
Here is what I'm going to do:
1. Get DD to wash dishes...DW is broken. Can you imagine? I hate to wash dishes, and she likes it. Whose child is she?
2. shift wash
3. put my sheets in
4. trash out
5. get all the dirty socks and old mail out of the living room...do other people's kids leave their dirty socks all over the house?
6. fill out two forms to take to bank tomorrow.
7. gather mail
8. dust first floor
9. vac first floor
10.windex first floor.
Here's something else I'm mad about. DS starts a new school on Thursday. It's in the next town and he will ride a bus. The bus is supplied by a private school that picks up kids to take to the private school. DS's school will pay them to pick him up. THAT'S IN TWO DAYS and they have NOT YET told me WHEN or WHERE this picking up, letting off will happen. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrpt
hey fattubs,i went golfing for all eighteen holes and my score was so high we didn't even try to count it------my baby is back from IT{phish festival] and she had a grand time, but she was weirded out by all the drug pushers and the people who were totally out of it=====this was a major druggie fest----yuk----very creepy===i am sure that soulfest was MUCH more sane, dear kiwonkers-----SOMEONE TELL ME WHY MY DEAR STEPDAUGHTERS HAVE BEEN IN THE ALBANY AIRPORT FOR NINE HOURS WAITING TO GET TO NEWARK AND THEN TO DENVER=====THEY SAID ALL THE NEW YORK AIRPORTS WERE CLOSED DUE TO BAD WEATHER ALL DAY??????? WE ARE VERY UPSET THAT THEY ARE STUCK THERE ALL ALONE IN THE BIG CROWDS!!!!!

You sound very relaxed to me
Yes, my kid leaves her socks all over the place too. I've never understood it either. I do take my socks off in the living room sometimes, but I actually toss them in the hamper shortly thereafter (which is only a few steps away from the LR). My family likes to pile their dirty clothes on top of the hamper, instead of putting them inside. This hamper doesn't even have a lid!! So they drop them on top, and eventually the hamper falls over. It's ridiculous.
I'm contemplating Peaches #1 problem. Around here the bus schedule is published in the paper, so I have no opinion on #2 problem. I do think she should move to a state where August is part of the summer, so I'm going to start a new topic with that in mind!
Bagz, I assure you that waiting in the Albany airport is preferable to waiting in Newark or Denver. Albany isn't all that big, and I would guess their airport isn't as scary as some. I hope they get home soon.
