just thought I would pop in here while I can.....

we went to the pool yesterday afternoon....Brandon got stung by something and he kept telling us ow! so we were watching him for the rest of the night. He got up this morning and his hand was swollen, his forearm was swollen and warm, and his eyes were puffy! So, I had him sit and put some ice on it.....then I got Tommy up at 4 this afternoon, and the two of them went off to the ER. The doctor gave him a prescription for a two pack Epi Pen (one for home and one for school), two other prescriptions and told Tommy to keep his hand elevated with ice on it, and to give him Benadryl.

sorry to cut this short for now....but time for bed for Logan and Marissa.

Whoa where is everybody? Did Ya'All melt away?? LOL! Seriously it is SO HOT outside! Like almost 100!! INSANE!!!!!

Just found out today that we have to change pharmacies! LOVELY! Called up the new pharmacy and gave them my info but didn't have the new membership and group numbers yet, so called up the insurance, they called up the pharmacy gave them the number. Do u know they won't give you your membership and group # over the phone? Ah well I guess its a security thing. Their sending us new cards. Anywho so the insurance lady conferences me in with the pharmacy they wanted to know my old pharmacy's number. Um Seriously dude, you have access to the flippin internet and you can't look up a number?!!! PATHETIC! Also I called the new pharmacy earlier and GAVE them the number! DANG! So far I'm not impressed by the new pharmacy.

Ok so moving on........ran to the store to get some stuff to try making home-made Whole Wheat Rolls. We usually get some from our Grocery Bakery but they are expensive so I figured I'd try making them! I also got Cane Sugar vs the Regular kind, so wish me luck on that! HA!

Then came home ate lunch and been running to the bathroom! UGH! I swear I'll probably lose like 10 pounds if it keeps up!!!! HA! And I really don't wanna take anything as I'd rather um let things flow through so it gets done, ya know? Sorry I know TMI! HA!

Other than that I've been feeling pretty good. Dunno if its the new Prenatal Vitamins I bought a couple weeks ago that I've been taking or what. AF is still here. But not as bad so I'm hoping she leaves SOON! HA. Went to the dr yesterday they drew blood and the hag to drew me had a really hard time with me and kept digging to find my vein! OMG I hate that! IT FING HURTS! Why not take it out and TRY AGAIN!!!!!!!! UGH! Anywho no news yet on the bloodwork. (They drew for my A1C and if its 6.5 or under, its a go for the fertility meds if not I have to keep eating healthy + exercise + taking my meds to get it down)

I also applied to a callcenter. The job description sounds exactly like what I used to do at my old job so lets hope I get it! Because I probably can get at least what I was making and I can SIT! YAY!

Haven't heard from Michaels and frankly doubt I will as he told me they were making a decision at the beginning of this week and not to sound not thankful but I'm glad they didn't call! I am very thankful that they did give me a chance but I really really didn't want the job. Because I knew I'd be on my feet all day and I just can't hack that anymore. I could BARELY hack it 12 years ago before I was married, let alone now. (bad back)

Anywho..............I've been trying to keep the house clean. My cat has been "helping" me in that dept. One night she decides to push off my husbands rootbeer off the shelf and one can exploded on the floor. So I had to clean that up so I went ahead and swept/mopped the whole kitchen. Also happened to land right on my husband's chili pepper rug. So I threw the puppy in the washer! It came out just fine. Didn't put it in the dryer, so it was fine.

So now I've been a drill Sergent on the kitchen floor. The other morning my husband comes home and drags in some leaves from outside and I am like, "YOU DRUG IN LEAVES ON MY CLEAN FLOOR!!!!!! U PICK THEM UP NOW!" LMAO! Poor guy he looks at me like holy crap batman! lol

Now I wanna clean our office/my husbands room. Its driving me INSANE but I know since its his stuff in here that if I move it he'll have a conniption. But its driving me crazy. I should do like my mother used to do me, put it all in a big garbage bag and say if you don't' put it away its going out to the trash! HA!

We organized our hall closet, used those space bags. Holy Cow! You can put like 10 comforters in 1 bag! Then just prop it up! I am amazed ya'all! lol. I think I wanna space bag everything! lol. Call them up and be like um do you make a space bag that will fit my 6'8 husband? LMAOOOOOOO!

Ok so maybe I've had a little too much caffeine today, its ok. Honestly. It truely is. I swear. lol. Just ask Suzy Q she'll vouge for me! LOL!

OMG I watched 2 movies yesterday, one was Slaughter which was pretty disturbing considering it said it was based on true events!!!!!! Then watched The Uninvited and it was AWESOME! I highly recommend it if your into Thriller/Suspense movies!!!

So I will go now before you all declare my post an official novel! HA!

Hola Mi Amigas!

I have EXCELLENTE' news!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best news EVER!!!!!!!!!! R U READY???

My drs office called this morning and told me what my A1C Level Is (Tests your Sugar Level over 3 months) and ya wanna know what it is??????? 6.1 BABY! YEAH! It WAS 7.1!!! The Dr wanted it under 6.5 and I EXCELLED!!!! I am offically AN OVERACHIEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEE-HAW!!!!

SO when I start my next cycle next month I call the dr and they call in my fertility meds!!!!!!!! It will be a combination of both Oral and Injectables. She said they can Overnight my Injectables. I dunno how expensive they are but frankly I don't care. Now that I know this info I will work OT to get a job, anywhere, I don't freakin care where and I don't freakin care if I have to stand for 24 hours a day and walk with a cane I don't care! That means I can be preganant by my Birthday, actually before my birthday that is AHEAD of schedule! I am SO SUPER EXCITED!

I can't believe that it happened so quickly! I went to the dr the end of April and that is when he told me to diet, exercise and upped my meds. So in about 2 months time I have lowered my A1C to UNDER what my Dr wanted! You know how much that means to me? That means more to me than losing weight! Which I frankly can't understand. Ok if I have lowered my blood sugars that much, then why the **** am I not melting fat off like butter? I don't get it. I remember when my old best friend was diagnosed with Diabetes and she changed her whole lifestyle and the weight FELL off her! Now I know that I have PCOS along with Diabetes so I Guess that can complicate things. But at any rate at least I achieved one goal! Now off to the next! Becoming a mommy! This only motivates me more to do even better with my eating/exercising! I CAN do this! I CAN be successful!

I also wanna say THANKS ladies a bunch for all your support! You all are the best!

the house got sprayed this morning to get rid of the rest of the fleas....and we took Brandon to get his eyes checked. He has a slight astigmatism in each eye.....and so he is getting glasses....which he is super excited about!

Hello to everyone else

Not a lot going on so haven't checked in. Eating has been soso but the walking is still going strong so...guess one is better than none. I did finally wi but won't be official until Monday so...not as bad as I thought after the 4th.

Today just taking it easy and watching tv and doing some reading. I made a goal of 3-4 books a month or 60 for the year and I am slacking in the reading dept. lots of catching up to do so going to read while I can.

Happy Saturday ladies. I haven't had a minute to call my own for awhile. I think we will slowly get back to normal (or what passes for normal with us)
Took mom for a hair cut, then home for a nap. Everything wears her out, but she is still doing really, really well. Jerry put in a grab bar for her and a hand held shower head, so after getting her staples out she had a shower. That wore her out, but she said it felt really good.
Fixing food for my daughter's best friend whose mom just passed away. Trying to keep ahead of the housework and not hover too much over mom. (but be there for all the times she needs help...fine line between hovering, smothering and being helpful)

just thought I would pop in to see how every one is doing.......

we went to my parents house on Saturday and ended up staying the night. it was a lot of fun, and we all had a blast! it was a much needed escape and we, or at least I, feel relaxed and ready for taking on this week.

Quick update...After doing so well and feeling good mom started running a fever yesterday. I was told to call the home health nurse with any problems,so I did. She said take her to the ER.
We got there at 7ish...they admitted her at 2 a.m. She has another abscess in her abdomen and after a day on IV antibiotics she is feeling much better, the fever is down and her BP is back up to normal. BUT...they don't know what they are doing about the abscess yet. They thought the radiologist could drain it, but he said no due to it's location/nerves, etc.
Soooo...prayers please and I will keep you posted.

Hey Chicks.

Well I lost another 1/2 a pound. By this rate I will lose all my weight in about 20 years! HA! But I guess its better than gaining!!!!

I have been in a funk lately. I guess probably due to being stuck in this house. But I feel better now. Talked to DH about it all, well he kinda forced it all out of me, but still. I'm thinking of looking into volunteering somewhere. I've been still applying for jobs, but still nothing, yet.

My Dad passed away yesterday..it makes me a little sad that I have been so mad at him these last few weeks but I am glad I got to see him and he knew I was there.

Sorry it has been so long since I was here. Seems I am always doing something...never enough time.

Mom only stayed in the hosp. two days, but on anti-biotics still. The abscess was maybe not an abscess, the drs. are having trouble deciding that one. They will check again in 4 weeks.... She has done so well at home. Both of the therapists discharged her last week and the nurse will release her next week. It was nice to have someone checking in on us to make sure things were ok. Mom still tires easily and I think she did too much this past week, but she is resting all day today.

Daughter and grandson are here from CA, so we have been eating out and visiting. They stay at my other daughter's house, so we do have times of quiet here. My grandson never stops talking..lol.

Today I made macaroni salad for DH to take to a card party tonight. Sewed bean bags for DD's cornhole game for her cook-out tonight, did laundry, cleaned bathrooms and swept the floors. Now I am resting before I have to iron. We are supposed to go to the farm for the cook-out, but I told DD it is too hot for mom out there, so we will stay home and relax.

Hate to see the kids go back to CA tomorrow, but hoping when mom gets back to 100% I can leave her for a week and go out there to visit. I really feel the need to get away, but if not for a week then DH and I will go to French Lick for a night or two...when the weather cools down.
