I have seen quite a few pass through Freecycle and CL, yes, but my issue has been space - there is NOWHERE to put something right now. But you know what, when I move again in June I'm pretty sure I can find space for something in the new place....... Hmm, something to keep in mind. I've always wanted a machine at home...

I know. I know. You all warned me.

Indeed ;) But I'm glad to hear you're exercising.... that's fantastic! I hope you and Paul have a good time at the gym together, and hopefully get in a little cardio at home too ;)

Well I got about 20 minutes of a walk in yesterday before it started raining. Boo. So 50 minutes total of walking yesterday, which isn't too shabby. Nothing compared to 7 mile runs or nothin but it'll do for now!

Today's plan -

B: oatmeal, blueberries, black tea
L: turkey sandwich, strawberries
S: apple, peanut butter
D: black beans, rice, tomato, avocado

Fat Chick B Gone 04-23-2009 11:31 AM

I'm doing this quick like today so no personals but I am glad to see us all posting again! My tooth is still hurting but it's helping me keep eating in check!
Today's plan
breakfast - coffee, I've just not been hungry in the am this week
lunch - pad thai
dinner - something quick and easy and light

So since I've not had a real date in oh like forever I'm freaked a little and noticed that I really need to dye my hair and do some waxing tonight. Bah humbug. Probably should take a look at the cruddy fingernails also. I so fail at all things girly.

Hi CHicks!

I had a long run planned today but I rearranged my day so I could help out my neighbor. Her needs for childcare changed and she didn't tell me not the end of the world but frustrating as I went out of my way for her.... Then I visited a friend who had foot surgery and now I really need to get off the computer and gogogogogo!!

I will use the gogogogo vibe from this thread and leave. now. well, after I put on my sneaks.

Have a good op day, chicks!

ETA: Sheeeeeeit, no run and no more babysitter. flock.

TGIF!

This is a busy work day and looks like a busy weekend ahead. Tomorrow, I'll be at an Earth Day event with my youngest for Girl Scouts. I'm hoping to find time to finally plant my two trees this weekend and put up my flower boxes. Hopefully, the nursery will have received their shipment of wave petunias. Of course, I'll also be scheduling some treadmill time in there somewhere. ;)

Today is a 1600 calorie day:

Breakfast - Two scrambled eggs, ww toast, lite vanilla soymilk
Snack - Tangelo and cheese stick
Lunch - Lean Cuisine/Veggie Pizza
Snack - Yogurt
Dinner - veggie pattie, sauteed yellow squash and onion, ww couscous
Snack - Weight Watchers Key Lime Pie

Good morning, run done today :)

Heather, what are you wearing and were are you going?
Rhonda, are you a troop leader?
Jamie, aren't you in a new job? How is it going?
Jo, keep those bananas dancing!!!

Fat Chick B Gone 04-24-2009 10:20 AM

Kitty - Sorry about the run. I'm getting back into running and I know how much it sucks to miss one when you really want to go. I have an event before meeting him out so nothing super special. We're just meeting for drinks. I'm a lowkey low pressure first date kind of girl.

Today -
Breakfast - bagel and coffee
Lunch - pad thai, I'm glad this is the last of it
Snack - pear
Dinner - something quick and easy
After dinner - probably too many drinks

It is SO flippin' hard to drag yourself back out of the depths of feeding a sugar addiction. Over the past two months I've accustomed myself to instant gratification - I want something sweet? I go buy something to satisfy that desire. And, of course, I pretty much always want something sweet. So being that I'm starting to feel strong enough to pull myself back up onto the wagon of healthy eating, I don't want to give into myself anymore -- but it's HARD! I was sitting out in the sun at lunch and wanted something sweet, of course... I walked myself over to the store... picked up a diet pepsi and was about to head over to the bulk bins of chocolate-covered almonds, when a coworker walked in and started to chat. Well, that threw me off. Somehow it's ok for me to pig out as long as other people don't know about it. So thanks to the timing of that coworker, I walked out of there with the diet pepsi and an orange. Because I'm ashamed of what I do to my body, and won't do it in front of other people.

I'm not sure whether this is success or defeat. On the one hand I've avoided junking up my plan for the day. On the other hand, I didn't do it because I realized I shouldn't, but because I was too ashamed of my behavior to do it in front of someone. Bah. It's a mixed bag over here today.

Jaime obviously lives in my head.

pintobean 04-24-2009 02:02 PM

Sadly, I can totally relate there Jaime.

kittycat40 04-24-2009 09:49 PM

Gotta tell ya, I have been accomodating those sweet urges with healthy choice no sugar added fudge bars. 100 cal each. weird stuff happening during potty time (sorry for tmi) but I put it all together and it is the alcohol sugar in the fudge bar. huh.

GirlyGirlSebas 04-25-2009 08:07 AM

Kat - Sugar alchohols are evil!
Jaime - Keep trying. You'll find yourself back where you want to be.

Sorry to do a flyby, but we have the Girl Scout's Earth Day event today and my family is moving around like a herd of turtles this morning! I am proud of myself though because I pre-plannned my food for the day and am taking lunch and snacks with me. Lunch is included with this event, but I have no idea what they will provide.

Today is a 1600 calorie day.

Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs, ww toast, light vanilla silk soymilk
Snack - Tangelo and cheese stick
Lunch - Hummus and Lowfat Triscuits
Snack - Yogurt
Dinner - Spaghetti
Snack - WW Key Lime Pie

pintobean 04-26-2009 08:00 AM

Good morning everyone :)

I'm hungry so a quick post. Nothing much going on today except that we're going to our friend's house for din din. Rest of the day is pretty quiet. I do have to do some prep work for next week's breakfast. I also made oatmeal last night and I think I may have screwed it up somehow. I'll find out next week. Workout wise today is a rest day (thankfully). Food wise, I'm OP.

Today:

Breakfast: Fruit smoothie
Lunch: probably Fruit smoothie again
Snack: TBD
Din Din: TBD

Have a wonderful OP day :)

I feel better this morning. I had been watching DH play Atlantis on PS1 last night when I started to feel sick. It was the driving portion so I'm wondering if maybe I was getting motion sickness. It would be weird because I love playing racing games. But I guess if I am playing I am focusing more one what I am doing rather than just watching everything quickly go by. Sorta makes sense.

B - oatmeal, flax, strawberries, agave
L - either Mac Daddy leftovers or snobby joe and a salad
S - hummus and veggies
D - veggie of some sort, a fruit, the either from lunch
D - fudgebar
