All the junk is officially out of my house. Sadly, instead of exiting via the garbage can, most of it exited via my tummy. But it's gone. And now I can work on making the conscious decision not to bring any more in here. I think that test I took yesterday was stressing me out more than I realized... I'm not worried at all about the one this coming Saturday. Even if I am, it's no good excuse to drive me to eat.

Today's focus is on "what can Jaime eat that requires minimal heat to prepare?" Which means a good amount of fruit and veg...

Sunday plan:

B: yogurt, granola, strawberries, honey, iced coffee (5)
L: blueberry-peach-spinach-vanilla smoothie (2), veggie burger on an english muffin (3)
S: rye crackers and pb (3)
D: TBD - if I go out (if the boy calls), I will choose wisely. If the boy does not call (or if we never make it to the restaurant... rawr), dinner will most likely be spinach salad with sliced apple and walnuts (3) and another veggie burger on english muffin (3) - because they don't require much heat to cook.

Billie - I get motion sick when I watch the kids play Mario Cart.:dizzy:
Jaime - When do you get an air conditioner?

Today is my housecleaning day. I'll be staying indoors as I think the high pollen counts triggered last night's migraine. Yesterday was my rest day for working out, so I'll be on the treadmill for my wogging today. I get to increase from 30 second runs to 45 second runs. :carrot:

Today is a 1400 calorie day.

Breakfast - scrambled eggs, ww toast, light vanilla soymilk
Snack - Tangelo and cheese stick
Lunch - Hummus and pita chips
Snack - Yogurt
Dinner - Tofurky kielbasa and steamed broccoli
Snack - WW Key Lime Pie

I'm changing my mind.

D - red beans and rice, brussels, mandarine oranges

under 1800 calories

Dunno. Depends on when the landlords come back into town. I'll be fine after today, as I'll spend the bulk of the day in my airconditioned office. Just the homebound weekends that are hard.

Fat Chick B Gone 04-27-2009 07:19 AM

Well I had an interesting weekend and logging calories was the least of my concern. I did okay food wise. Not really overly healthy choices but there wasn't a ton of it either. Drinking calories - eek I'm sure that did me in. I need a new battery for my scale (side note, why is every damn thing in my house running out of battery power right now?) so can't weigh this morning.

Breakfast - smoothie
Lunch - Quinoa and stuff thrown in it
Dinner - dunno, things are getting bare in my cabinets, we'll see

Morning everyone :)

Things are going good so far. We had a low-key dinner at a friend's place last night and it was fun. During one of our grocery shopping runs we found ice-cream for dogs (we didn't know they made any) and we decided to get it for our friend's schnoodle. Yesterday, when I fed him ice-cream he not only ate the whole thing but licked the bowl clean :D. OMG, it was amazing to see him like the ice cream so much. The rest of the evening he was my stalker. He followed me everywhere, tried to lick my legs, looked at me with his round brown eyes...basically, I guess he was trying everything he could. He is a doll. Usually, I feed him broccoli and cukes whenever I go there but last night was special. It was interesting.

Today, it's back to my exercise. Yay! more pain.

Jaime, glad the junk is out.

Have a wonderful Monday girls!! :carrot:

Well I weighed myself this morning - had to face the music. It was not pretty! Back up to 187... dangerously close to the 190s, and sadly very far away from the recent low of 181. Nose to the grindstone, gotta stop this before it gets out of hand. If it hasn't already.

Yesterday was good, though. Wasn't perfect (that 2nd veggie burger at dinner? not necessary).

Today's plan:
B: strawberries, blueberries, plain yogurt, granola, honey (5)
L: spinach, rye crackers, tuna, apple (6)
S: orange (1)
D: veggie burger, broccoli slaw, potato (8)

=20/25...

Hiya, Senoritas,

Yesterday, I cleaned house like a crazy woman. I didn't make it to my date with the treadmill, but I don't feel guilty. I was wiped out!

Jaime - It doesn't have to be out-of-hand. This is your choice to end the upward spiral now.
Anjuli - ice cream for dogs? Okay. You know that I'll be looking for this stuff! My dogs will love their Auntie Anjuli.
Heather - time for a new set of solar powered scales?

Today is a 1600 calorie day and the start of week 2 of my beginning running program of 45 second wogs with 4:15 minute walks.

Breakfast - Scrambled egg, ww toast, light vanilla soymilk
Snack - Tangelo and cheese stick
Lunch - Butternut Squash Lean Cuisine
Snack -Yogurt
Dinner - Yellow curry with mixed veggies over quinoa
Snack -Weight Watchers Double Fudge cake.

Billie -- I get motion sick during various games too, it sucks.

Well, I've lost 2 pounds in 14 days. I should be doing much better. It has definitely been booze and snack creep that has affected me. I need to get more strict.

Today's Plan -
Exercise: Ran 5.30 miles
Coffee, slice of toast
Portabello mushroom and veggie sandwich, soup
Apple
Indian samosas big salad

Fat Chick B Gone 04-27-2009 09:46 AM

Quinoa fail. Burned it this morning. Having chickpea curried pasta instead.

My dogs LOVE the doggie icecream. PSA - don't give your dogs regular dairy based icecream btw.

Mrs Snark 04-27-2009 09:56 AM

Is it just me or is plurk being a slow mofo?

pintobean 04-27-2009 10:01 AM

It is slow.

And thanks Heather, I'll pass on the info. I didn't know.

Rhonda, we got it from Safeway if that helps. Also, would love to be an auntie who brings treats :D

Jaime, you are on your way to a healthy you. So keep moving forward.

Fat Chick B Gone 04-27-2009 10:16 AM

I'm feeling a little plurked off.

suitejudyblueeyes 04-27-2009 10:18 AM

Glad it's not just me. I can't deal with it being slow, I need instant gratification!

zinkemomx2 04-27-2009 01:03 PM

B - oatmeal, flax, almonds, strawberries, agave and a hot cocoa
S - CF granola bar
L - red beans and rice, fried brussels
D - not a freaking clue

It is wonderfully warm outside. 78* last time I looked. Makes the 67* in the house feel cold.

DH just came home from work. I might try and sneak out for a wog.
