Boutique GT? SusanB, ours only has a small selection of foods. Are you talking frozen?

The snow is melting, the wind is drying up the water and my snowdrops are in bloom! 'Tis Spring!

Yes, frozen. I go to one in a little bigger town down the road for my fish. When I buy uniforms there, they put them in a bag that actually says GT Boutique on it.

Oh wow . . . this is just like listening to a bunch of Yankies . . . I've never heard of Giant Tiger, GT Boutique, or Boutique GT. Oh what a sheltered life I lead. . .

Maybe it's an Ontario thing ...

I checked New Brunswick is the only Atlantic province with GT boutiques.

Meowee, glad things went well and that you're doing ok. How come you have to wait so long to get the second eye done?

canadian mom, that sounds like a cool program your kids have to do! I wish we had had more stuff like that when I was a kid. How long does it run for?

Susan, never heard of Giant Tiger...

I'm having a pretty good day... It's BEAUTIFUL here -- +4 and SUNNY! I have tomorrow off - WOO HOO!! I'm going to have lunch with a friend and then after dinner go to another friend's house and STAMP and gossip all night!

RA . . . Guess they just want the first one to be completely healed and settled down before they do the other one . . . apparently six weeks is the normal interval at least with this surgeon). . . I go back for another check-up in four weeks, maybe I'll ask him.

SusanB . . . I'll have to look for one the next time I'm visiting relatives in Ontario. Or maybe the next time I happen to go to Moncton. I feel so deprived.

Ahhhh yesss, the GT boutique...We have one here on the prairie. Quite exclusive. That's awesome!

Going out for lunch today. Vietnamese!! I love the soups and noodly stuff. I missed the gym but for the first time in months, the weather will allow me to go for a quick run after school. I posted on the 30 sumthins board today that I have this stress - the BF's exwife is coming over for dinner.
Holy mary mother-a -Gawd.
She is very nice - I'd be friends with her if I didn't live with her ex- husband. Crazy - I know. Their son just moved in with us and she wanted to come and see the living arrangements. Any my weiner of a BF invited her for dinner!! I said I'd try not to sweat profusely and drink a box of wine over polite dinner conversation.
I'll post tomorrow and if it's gone well, I won't be single and hungover!!

Everyone sounds like they are doing so so well. This makes me happy.

Anyways have a grrreat night folks.

Oh, geez...sending strength your way! My boyfriend is still close to his ex (as a friend only), and she's the last person in the world to judge others, but a part of me still gets stressed out when she's around. So, to some extent, I feel your pain! I hope everything goes well for you.

Have a great day, everyone!

I love GT, you can get great deals there. There is one in Smith Falls, and I think Kingston had two, Napanee has a big one. Ottawa has some good ones.

I wish I could say that we only eat fresh everything but alas ... that is not our income bracket. I do the best I can so ... GT it is. There is lots of processed stuff but you can't fool much with fish filets. We really like them and you can't beat the price.

Ah, yes, GT boutique, love that place, which reminds me I haven't been there in ages... Unlike Cosco, I've been there so much lately I should own shares...

Sorry I've been MIA but I really haven't had much to babble about...

Snow is melting, I have no flowers to say that are growing but I do see grass and that's a great thing... I'm really really anxious to get on my new bike for a ride... I think for the first time ever I will be out on my bike in April weather or snow permitting... I usually wait till it's shorts weather to go on my bike but not this year...

Good day today, made it back to aerobics! Feel much better. I've got to head back to the though, because I've got another midterm tomorrow! whee. Is it wrong to call it a midterm when there are 3 weeks of class left?? lol

Hope y'all are having a good week!!

Morning, gang . . . this is not shaping up to be one of my better days . . . finally read the pet-food recall details and discovered that I've got 4 varieties of Special Kitty that are on the list (although I haven't fed them any of it sinced the problem was first discovered, and nobody is showing any symptoms).

They eye is still doing fine . . . Can't say it hurts, but it does feel a little funny. The sun is coming out . . . and the temp is supposed to go up to 11 today; so everything is not bad.

Anyway, I'd better get a move on so I can get some stuff done and then make a little trip to WalMart to throw this tainted cat food back at them. See you all later. Have a good moving and shaking kind of day everybody . . .
