well, I am thinking a big pot of chili to get rid of all those canned beans I have around here! then I am going to try to make a big batch of dried black beans at some point to try avoiding all that sodium!
Tonight we are grilling shrimp, chicken and pineapples (none for me, thank you) and veggies.
I'm also grilling a bunch of chicken for the upcoming week.
Tonight I'll have meatloaf (3 for my stash), sugar snap peas and sliced tomatoes. I'd thought of pepper squash but there's oatmeal in the meatloaf so.....
I always rinse them... that is probably not the culprit of me not losing lately(although I still wanna cut back on the sodium, so I am cooking my own from now on!) the culprit is ME. Not sticking to plan! ugh. I am back 100% tomorrow starts my two weeks of p1!
Thanks for the tip though
May be the yummiest squash known to womankind I just slice them into small strips & spray with oil then bake at about 400. Nothing like fries but really tasty.
Thanks cyndi- i will have to try that soon! Is it p1 friendly? going back to that for two weeks... looks like it may be similar to a sweet potato? does it taste anything like it? I have been baking those as "fries" lately but am giving those up for 2 weeks too!
It's a winter squash so P2. I've heard it called sweet potato squash. We don't eat sweet potatoes much and delicata is the one winter squash we have a lot. It's got a lower carb count than most winter squashes for some reason and living with a diabetic we watch that
Our anniversary is tomorrow, so I made our anniversary dinner tonight (easier than a monday!). I think you'll tell he's from the south, and I lived there 8 years...
Ham, baked sweet potatoes, turnip greens, and homemade applesauce. OH! And whole wheat rolls from the grocery (they were good!).
And the REALLY bad part I indulged in!??! This is my first REALLY bad thing since I started 5 1/2 months ago....
