Melissa - I've had bad reactions to flu shots - - severe, flu symptoms, aches, fevers of 102+. But, they lasted less than 24 hours instead of a week, and no lingering weekness after fever broke. Feel better.

vivian, i was wondering where you were. sounds like you've figured out what works best for you. how much have you lost now? i'm thinking it's quite a bit.

I am in Florida, where it is only slightly cool. I have lost 73# so far. Of course it has taken almost 2.5 years, but I am trying to keep my eyes on how far I have come not how far I have to go yet.

Sandra, I wondered what was going on with your tracker. I think it's just great that you are down 3.5, even if it is water weight. It's a start, right? I'm like you, and tired of bouncing around with the same 5# all the time. I'm ready to get rid of it. My schedule has been kind of haywire today but I'm still pretty much op. I've actually split my meal combinations up because I didn't have time to eat it all at once. So now I am just constantly eating today. But that's fine by me. Good luck with the CB. It sounds like you could do either option that you mentioned. Or you could have your dinner meal at lunch and then have a sf bar meal combo for dinner. Just a thought.

Vivian, you're doing great. It seems like core is really working for you.

Frouf, I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well, especially on party day! That's just not fair. I hope that you feel better soon or at least get to go home and go to bed.

Kathy, I forgot to say congrats on Shaun getting a job. I hope that this one sticks. Oh and you are working much more than me. I don't know how you do it!

Well I'm off to go chauffer clients around. I'm getting ready to pick up someone who is hypomanic and I just don't know if I have the energy for her.

I missed a whole page there!

Italy, skim milk is unlimited on core. And everyone's weekly weight loss is different. Of course WW recommends that you don't lose more than 2 pounds per week.

Danny, thanks for the input. I'm thinking that I might have been coming down with something before the flu shot as well. I don't remember having symptoms last year when I got it. I was actually hoping for a fever this morning so that I could stay home from work!

BTW hi all!! *waves* I'm on the net at work (bad!!) but I wanted to check in... it's great to see everyone!!

Sorry I've been off... it's a *very* hectic week here before everyone takes time off for the holidays and I've been living in my office. Hopefully, there will be enough inclement weather here to cancel work!

hi there. we are back home now and i've made 3 batches of sugar cookies. i baked them for the cookie exchange but i had to make more because curtis has the nibbles. i iced some of them and dusted the rest with colored sugar. i'm staying out of them. i just had a stalk of celery with pb and craisins on it. i was surprised at how good it is. it would be very few wpas on core. and what a treat!

steph congratulations, girl. you're doing great. 15 lbs! awesome!

melissa, we visited a friend today who offered us each a chocolate piece from a box he'd gotten from his daughter in alaska. i ate one piece that had blueberry cream in the center. it was good. what i'm proud of myself for is--i got right back on my plan. i even used the calories with my cb calories and am still on target for today. life is good.

now i need to close here and go do a mile on the treadmill. have a good evening, everyone.
