personal goal 252/800

Group Total = 4700 + 132 = 4832

Hi everyone,

I can't remember if I posted my exercise goal on this board or another. Anyway, February was abysmal, didn't make my target. I believe I set this month's target at 600 minutes, and I am doing pretty well so far:

3/4 60 minutes walking
3/5 60 minutes exercise class
3/7 60 minutes exercise class
3/10 30 minutes walking

Personal total: 210 minutes
Group total: 5167 + 210 = 5377

I also take 5 minute walk breaks at work about 2-3 times per day (usually when I have to go pee ). Does that count? If so, then my personal total should be ALOT higher.

booklover-- Great job with the exercise. Because you can do the longer sessions, I wouldn't count the 5 minute stints. If you were just beginning and couldn't do more, I'd probably say you should count them. Does that make sense? You should definitely keep doing them (moving is good), but the point isn't to try to just inflate our minutes as much as possible but to challenge ourselves.

When I first started I counted any walk with my dogs that was at least 10 min long. Now I need to push myself, so I only count walks that are 20 min long and where I keep walking, even when the dogs stop!
