Good morning ladies~ Well I'm happy to report that yesterday was a 100% perfect day eating, exercise, and water wise for me! That is a first in a long time It feels great. I think making that phone call for the OA meeting really set my mind at ease. Just knowing that I'm going to get the help I need. I woke up feeling great this morning and did a nice 20 min. stretch video. Today I'm helping out at the school book fair. Today is my gym day. I've planned M-Wed-Fri home strength training days and Tues-Thurs-Sat gym cardio days...Sunday OFF!LOL! That's about all that's going on with me though.

Melissa- I'm really proud of you for not giving up on C25k just modifying it to work for you. Keep it up girl. I hope you were able to come to a decision on TBL....that's a tough one.

Danielle- I'm still in dream land at 4:30 am...God love ya! Ahhh a down comforter. Those things are like a little piece of heaven. We had one in our hotel room in San Diego along with down pillows...I didn't want to leave the bed

Melissa73- Let's see your on vacation, you went shopping, you ran like a rockstar yesterday...your living the life girl!LOL! Keep it up

Laura- I'm with ya...I'm a number person all the way

Tera- Great job on getting that walk in...hope your daughter has a great trip

Andi- These gals seem to love to C25k, so I'm sure you'll do great.

Have a wonderful day everyone~

TINA: Great job on staying 100% on yesterday! Keep up the good work. Also, great job getting a planned schedule for your workouts. I plan mine as well and try to stick to it as closely as possible. cardio and weights Mon, Wed, Fri , 2 hour cardio with biggest loser on Tuesdays and cardio on Thursdays and if I can't workout on the weekends I dont' worry about it. If I can it's a plus, if not, it's my break! I can get used to this vacation stuff! LOL....now I can't wait until summer!

Last chance workout for during the show!! You can either:

1) workout while you watch the show in a matter of your choosing

and/or

2)
a - do as many squats as you can for an entire commercial break

then
b - shoulder press for as long as you can during a commercial break

then
c - plank pose for as long as you can hold it during a commercial break!

And then make sure you come tell your team how great you did!! Good luck!

Girlygirl: That is great. I still really don’t know. I sprung it on my husband, with the idea that I would do it myself. I have always wanted to do this kind of stuff with my family, and I never thought that he would want to do this. He said, yeah I’ll do it. Well, this floored me. He even said he will train with me. I don’t know how he will fit this in, but it would give us a lot of quality time in together, which after three kids, we really need. Then I told him about the $2,200/person. He said I had him until that. Then about an hour later, he said if I really want to do it, he would do it with me. So, now I am torn. I’ll keep you updated.

Scenestealer: You’re always such an inspiration.

HuneB: Thanks for the info. About the fundraising. You guys are making it hard to say no. I may have to go out and buy myself a hula. I used to have one, but my son bent it.

Melissa73: Congrats on your running.

Andi18: Great job on your decision. My only advise is to believe in yourself.

Tina30: I just wanted to say hi and good job staying on plan. Have fun at the book fair.

Good Morning Ladies!

I'm so tired this morning. I'm not sure why. I think I could have used a few more hours of sleep! Well, last night I decided to have a couple of pieces of that Valentine's candy at my second job. I'm not sure why I gave in, I just did. I had 3 pieces. The first one was a cheapy caramel (my fav) and it just wasn't very good at all. I then had 2 pieces of name brand candy. They weren't all that good either. I'm not sure if that is because I still had the bad taste in my mouth from the first one or if because I haven't had much sugar in the past 2 months, my tastes are changing. Anyhoo, I was not tempted to go back for more (which in the past I would have binged and had a couple dozen pieces). I did have quite a bit of water trying to get the taste out of my mouth. And with that water I ended getting my 64 oz in afterall.

Okay, for the last 2 1/2 months, I have been getting up in the mornings to exercise (most mornings anyway). For a little background, my big dog LOVES to eat (just like her owner/mama!) and will whine for me to feed her at the crack of dawn. I try not to feed her too early so that she doesn't have too long to wait for her night meal. On the weekends I get up at 6:30 ish to feed her so that she'll shut up and let me sleep some more. Well, since I've been exercising in the mornings, I decided I would try to wait until after my workouts to feed her. I've done WATP for several months and she will lay on the couch until I'm done with no problems. This week I have switched things up and have been doing a toning dvd instead of cardio. On the toning dvd there are several times throughout the workout that I have to lay down to do my various exercises. My dog finds this too irresistible and has to come down to check it out. There's nothing like a dog in your face when you're struggling to do an exercise or to see the tv for guidance. No matter how often I try to explain to her that she is not a window, she just doesn't seem to get it! I may have to start kicking her out for my workouts although that would lead to excessive barking and probably waking the neighbors.

Have a great day RED Team!

Hey Red Team!

I'm so sorry I didn't get around to making a Week 4 Winners banner for you all last week. Things got crazy with me going out of town

I'm making some banners after lunch so I'll make sure I make you all one!

Hi Red Team -

I have been so inspired reading all of your posts. You are all doing great! This challenge has been great for me. I have tried new exercises, new foods and met a lot of new people.

Hun E B - Thanks for the update on how everyone is doing. It was very motivational reading through all the losses. I hope there will be plenty more before this competition is over.

Sorry I have been out of the loop lately and not posting as much as before. After a month of being in a coma, unfortunately my cousin has had a second brain hemorrhage and has taken a turn for the worse. We have all been at the hospital saying our final goodbyes. Very heartbreaking. I probably will not be around much for the next week or so. I am still going to try to stay on plan and get some exercise in but no guarantees.

I just wanted to let you all know the update since you have been so supportive with your prayers and well wishes.

I will check in later and in the mean time, keep up the good work.

Rennie: That's funny about the chocolates, but hey, if you didn't like them and it saved you from a binge. That's a good thing!! Too cute about your dog getting in the middle of your workouts! Their just like kids!! LOL

DK: Sorry to hear about your cousin. Your family will be in my thoughtS!

Andi: You're welcome! It's hard work but very rewarding! Can't wait to hear how you like it!

Chellez: Thanks!

Good morning teammates! I hope everyone has a great OP day!

DK--I'm so sorry to hear the bad news. My thought and prayers will be with you and your family.

Tina--Great job on being 100% OP. That's fabulous.

Karen--I know how you feel. I have to kick my kids and animal out of the room when I exercise with a DVD. Otherwise, they are either climbing on me or standing in front of the TV.

Mom23BC--I'm so proud of you for seriously considering the Breast Cancer 3 day walk. My mom is a 2 time breast cancer survivor and my grandma is also a breast cancer survivor.

HI Ladies!

So I had a huge loss last week and now I had a gain today. I am sooo bummed. I know I wasn't perfect during the weekend and that is the reason. But it is sooo frustrating. I apologize in advance.
Hope you all have a perfect day. BF wants to go for sushi tonight so hopefully I can make some good choices... ugh!
