Hi Melissa and all you red people! I came to say hi to my former teammates from the last blue team. I miss you all! But I'm sure red team is lots of fun too, esp. with such a cool leader!

Tina, I wrote to you on black team in the beginning and then got busy with sick kids, etc. and then found out you were over here anyway! ha!

Hi Utah, how have u been? And hi to everyone else here. Hope you all are having a great OP week. I never get to post much anymore so I guess today I'm taking the chance I have and telling everyone hi!

Hugs, Selina

Well hello. Nice to hear from you.

Melissa
Hope you have a nice time. Nice going on no snacks at school.

Ambie
Oh don't be silly. The DOT time can be a killer for some people. I know I can fluctuate up to 5lbs during that time. Thank heavens I was at the docs office yesterday so did a weigh in there instead of today at home. I started today lol.

Cassie
My daughter brought home those cadbury caramel filled eggs. I use to love those things. Took one little nibble and told her, " oh my gosh, those things are sweet." gave it back to her, way to sweet for me.

Utah
Glad the baby is getting better. You take care of yourself. All this moving you have done and the illnesses going around you could be next to get sick.

Okay, I just have time to make a quick comment. I hope everyone is doing great. Thanks to everyone on this team that has been so supportive. I hope every has a great day.

As for me! Well, we started running two mailboxes for every five. I know that may not sound like a lot, but I am so proud of my boys and even my self. Next week, will be three mail boxes for every 5. I don’t remember if I mentioned this, but I want to do something special after we run our mile without stopping. I am thinking of a special trip, maybe to Stone Mountain. My husband was thinking bowling. Ha, ha. My boys and I have other plans.

Hello RED Team! Happy Valentine's Day (and Bah Humbug on behalf of all of us singletons - just kidding.....sorta )

I'm going to make it quick today. To Tina, Laura and anyone else who may be interested in the Beck Diet Solution - I have always been an emotional eater with virtually NO willpower. (Tina-everytime you post about your struggles and being an emotional eater, I think of how much this book could help you and others like you and me). I started back on my journey a few days after Christmas this year with the drive and determination that this was the time it was going to stick. I didn't start the Beck program until several weeks into my journey. I'm not sure it I'm doing so well because I already had the determination or if Dr. Beck has made the difference. I have added confidence and willpower that I haven't had the many other times tried to lose weight.

Her book is a 6 week program to train you to think like a thin person. You use your own diet plan (you actually pick 2 so that you have a backup if the first one doesn't work). You don't actually start your diet until 2 weeks into the program, however since I had already started, I kept with it and completed the first 2 weeks anyway. I would encourage anyone who struggles with their eating to pick it up and take a look. I would think a library would have a copy for you to review instead of or before purchasing. I really do sound like a commercial, but I really would love to see you all (and several of my friends who I've already told about it) to succeed. And I promise I'm not working off commissions!!

CountingDown - your Mom and min must be related. I have to schedule in at least an hour if I call.

Well, it's been a very busy week but I am still getting in my workouts every day. Today I was in training from 9-3 then i took an aerobics class at 3:30. I am feeling good and I can't wait until I can add swimming into the mix. I just have to be patient until my 3 year old's name comes up on the list for daycare (he's currently in an hourly care facility so I have to go get him right when I am done with training). In a few weeks when I start working, I can go either before or after or both if I am feeling good.

I had some candy today But I didn't binge. I had a Tootsie Pop. Oh well, sometimes I have to give in a little or else I will have a full blown binge freakout.

Tomorrow is more training, this time from 9-4 and I am going to go do upper body at the gym after work. Saturday is a run day, and I am still sore from Tuesday's big 3 miler so we'll see how far I get. I have a full schedule on Saturday (soccer opening ceremony, a soccer game, and Playhouse Disney live in Seattle) so it's going to be a busy day. Sundays are typically low-key and I think I will spend a majority of it on the couch (just no snacking lol).

Keep up the good work ladies! I am hoping to maintain my loss for W/I. I am one pound from my end of the month goal, so any more weight this month is great.

Just wanted to say hello. My daughter has been using my computer so I haven't had a chance to be to involved here lately. Hope you all had a happy and healthy Valentines Day! I am trying to be careful what I am eating but I feel like I am often hungry. I wonder if I am just used to eating more.

Karen I think the same way sometimes when I am telling people about something I really believe in. I feel like I am being paid to sell it! I will check out my library to see if they have it.

I have been doing alright the last week, I havent been excercising though. I still am being super lazy about that. Dietwise I am ok, being a Vegan there really are not any such things as comfort foods to me anymore.. I guess that is comforting in a way.
however I did just get a cookbook for my birthday "Joy of Vegan Baking" so I will possibly be making some treats....but eating sparingly. I plan to bring them to work to share and see if the Vegan versions pass the taste test with everyone else.

Valentines Day was good for me! Got a dozen beautiful roses

Good morning ladies,

I hope everybody had a great valentines day!

Valentines day was my 48th day OP and it was a GREAT day! I had a great NSV at school staying away from all candy and cake and cupcakes. Although I didn't get to go to the gym I saved 20 of my daily points for my Valentines dinner. I went to one of my favorite restarurants....Carrabba's. It was sooo delicious. I was a little stuffed afterwards, because I ate 20pts at one sitting, but I paced myself....drank 3 glasses of water with lemon and, had a few pieces of bread with the olive oil dip and a huge salad. Then I ate green beans, cavatappi pasta - about a cup, and half my chicken and half my garlic mashed (saved the other halves for lunch today..YUM!) and I ate exactly my daily points! No ap's and no wap's were needed. YIPEE!

I weighed myself this morning and I thought I would be up with the bread and pasta but I was still down .8....and i've been constipated. (TMI) So I took my mild laxative like my doctor recommended and i'm hitting the gym tonight to get in my last day of week 3 - c25k and then I have to push it to get my legs, abs, shoulders, back AND biceps in since I didn't make it yesterday! I can do it! Hopefully after working out and hopefully being able to go to the bathroom (TMI - ) I can have my 2lb loss that I wanted for tomorrow mornings weigh in! ****fingers crossed*****

No time for personals again since i'm at work but I promise to get some in tonight AND I am on vacation this week coming up. TGIF and it's my last day of work for 9 GLORIOUS DAYS!! I will be able to post a little more frequently next week being home! Have a great day everybody!!

Good Morning Red team!! I hope everyone had a great Valentines day! I was not so good! I had burgers for dinner and indulged in the valentines candy. Somehow the scale showed me being down alot today so I'm not going to question it. Just gonna get back to doing my thing!

I've got a meeting with the principal this afternoon so I need to push the gym to before classes instead of after. Puts a krimp in my morning time but thats okay! The gym has to be priority right!

Okay I need to get coffee going and the car warmed up! I'll be back to check up with everyone!! Have a fantastic morning!

Hey ladies-
Having a rough week mentally- just not feeling into it this week, ugh! I still did my run on Wednesday though and felt great about it seeing as how I really just wanted to write the week off. Kind of feeling the same about today, we'll see. We are going out of town for the long weekend (dh's dad's birthday). I've been neglecting my house too this week- - maybe if I spend a couple hours cleaning I will feel a lot better about everything. ANyway- I will be back in the game for Monday for sure...I'm not about to let this little mood slip affect me long term!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
