So who took the Monday Morning Madness Stretch Challenge?
I did! And it felt good, course I always stretch after working out.
Just wanted to pop in quick, my kids are home, no school today or tomorrow. I will try to catch up here in a bit, just got back from the library and Lane wants me to watch Old Yeller with him.
I had a gain at weigh in today, +2.4. I think it's cause I went on a saltine cracker binge this weekend, well not really a binge since I stayed within my points, but still. They're low sodium too, but I think that's part of it. Sorry.
I did measure myself and have lost 3.5 inches since the start of this challenge so that's a good thing. Anyways, I know to stay away from the crackers!!
Well my kiddo is yelling for me, so I'll will catch up with ya'll later.

LOL Rennie!! I swear they can find ANYTHING to scream at each other about. I think I spend more time wanting to box their ears off than not! Glad you are getting some peace!

Cathy...not to worry, we all have our ups and downs. Congrats on the lost inches!! Those are the losses I LOVE to see!! Because they cant change day to day like the scale can! Keep up the good work!!

It is SOOOO beautiful outside! The sun is shining and warm I want to be out there!! I'd love to go for a bikeride. But, I've got so much homework that I put off all weekend long so now I'm stuck! I did open all the blinds and the windows and I'm letting that beautiful air in!

My girls have taken over my hula hoop! LOL! I'm going to have to make more just so we can all have our own. So funny how that has caught on here. Man do we laugh when its the 3 of us doing it together.

Okay off to fold laundry then back to the books! Hope everyone is having a beautiful day!

I want it to be warm and sunny here, instead it's cold and windyLOL!

Cat- Hey the scale is not the only indicator of weight....3.5" is great! Focus on that and not the number

Rennie- Mine kids aren't driving me crazy today, I better check to make sure they are feeling okayLOL!

Hello Teamies......has been a very busy weekend....wow....almost four pages of posts since I was not able to get on at all this weekend! Good to see that we are still chatting away. My energy level has been really down and I have not had much desire to do a lot. I know as soon as I can get my apt together I will feel much better! Just hard to keep on top of things when you have 3 others staying with you in a two bedroom apt! Oh well if I keep going I will eventually get on top of things. Well got to go do some more stuff! Have a great week everyone!!!

Happy Monday everyone!
I'm forcing myself out of my funk, lol. Even though I'm not feeling it 100%. I forced a workout- eating has been just ok- but I am off fast food and junk for the rest of the month!!
My weigh-in was pretty bad...(like up 6-7lbs!)- which I know is mostly bloat, but I took a freebie this week. I'm re-focusing and aiming for a good loss for the end of February and again through March.
I'm declaring myself done with the C25K official program...I'm going to try to up my runs from 3 to 4 or 5 a week and do a minimum of 2 -10 minute runs with perhaps a couple minute walks between if I need to and work myself up from here on my own.
Congrats to everyone else who is staying focused and losing!
I'm making tuna steaks and broccoli tonight so at least the eating is cleaned up a bit, lol.

Girlygirl: I'll let you know what I decide. Other than the fundraising of $2,200, the only thing that scares me is the training for it. I know this would be so good for me health wise. I also think it would be good for me mentally. After doing for everyone else, I think this would help me. It is so easy to loose confidence in self, so this would prove to myself that I can do anything. I also think it would prove to my kids that anything is possible. That would be cool if we both decided to do it, that we could hook up. Are you considering it? I did e-mail them and ask for more info. They said I would get it in the next 2 weeks. I would be really surprised if I did this. I have friends that want to do the 5K run/walk. I would be more like walk with a few burts of runs. As fo the 3 day walk, there is a pretty good website that has the training for it.

SkinnyVibes: Good job on the total gym. I have always wanted one of those.

Jasmine: Wow! You can tell a big difference in the face. Great job!

Cassie: Congrats on the pounds lost! Have fun at the BD parties.

SceneStealer: Thanks for the info. I read through a couple of those post. There is a lot of info on www. Very motivating. Also, great job on the food choice.

HuneB: Yeah! The fundraising scares me too. But if you don’t get it all, you don’t have to do it.

Catsgettinghealthy: Congrats on the inches lost.

Hello Shymoment, Utahgirl, Idealmuse

Jlyn: Congrats on the the running program.

Tina30: Just wanted to say hello. Thanks for all the support you have given me.

Okay! I cried when I read this. It is from the following site:

http://http://www.squidoo.com/michigan3day

Quote:
On Day Two we passed a little old man sitting all alone in a lawn chair in his front yard right by the sidewalk. A sign he'd made out of a cardboard box was sitting at his feet. In scribbly black letters it said, "THANK YOU for walking-my wife died of breast cancer." He held a 8 x 10 picture of her on his lap and smiled at walkers as they passed by.

I still cry when I think about him!

Utah- Moving is stressful, and unpacking is no fun! Hang tight though things will get better once you get settled in

Emily- Good for you for shaking the funk!!! Sometimes we just have to go through the motions until they become natural again

Jasmine- I can for sure see a difference in your face....keep up the hard work

Roni- Thanks for sharing that....how are you doing this week girl???

Kari- Hello...hope your day went well

Mom23BC- Okay that made me tear up also....how sweet is that! When your training and it feels like you want to give up remember that story, it will help you push through
