Whew, I'm sorry I missed this! Ok, it has been said before, but I will feel a load better saying it again myself (sorry, I get a little puffed up when I see people get attacked!):
We have a LOT of different plans on this site. We have specifically set it up to accomodate different plans, for different people. This is as much a low fat board as it is a low carb board as it is a low glycemic board, etc. Suzanne and I are working around the clock trying to expand information on different WOE's for everyone's benefit. We will continually strive to reach outward to more eating and nutrition plans, so we can pass this information onto others. Having the info at our fingertips for those of us that choose to explore it is invaluable! I think it is great that one click of the mouse and I have SugarBuster info, another click and I have WW info, another for SS, etc. !
99.9 percent of the time we all live in harmony together, and I can't say that for most websites! We have one of the friendliest weight loss message boards on the internet, but sometimes the boat gets rocked. The key principle here is respect for our fellow members.
Personally, I would never condone going to another forum to shake things up. Suzanne and I put those forums up so people following that plan could support each other, not so they could be discouraged. I'm sure nobody here would like it if the low fat followers came along and gave us artery clogging lectures, right? It goes both ways! Mrs Jim does a wonderful job moderating her forums and I have complete respect for her, especially for the way she handled this. Ruthxxx has had to deal with similar issues herself and she is a gem as well!
I'm glad we can all move on. I vote we start another SS thread and have a fresh start. This has been for the most part a great thread and I don't want to see it end!
