Happy late easter to every one we had an awsome weekend alot of family came over and i got to see my grandma she just got back from texas so i missed her alot. i weighed myself yesterday and i was at 203-202 the needle was right in the middle so um i guess 202 1/2 ha ha but im super duper excited about that

we went to a quinceanera on saturday and i loved the way i looked i was able to put on a really nice skirt and shirt i looked good and felt good its been awhile since i have felt good about myself i also got a really cute hair cut that i love i was feeling down and depressed i know i have lost so far 18 pounds but sometimes i feel so much bigger then when i was 220 i felt so fat and down i needed a change so i went and chopped off my hair and got some new clothes that was a huge pick me up i feel so much better now

so over easter my dad cooked bomb food and i had some of course but i jogged and did extra excersise and still managed to get to 202 im stoked makes me want to jogg more

so hope everyone had a good easter sunday !! happy dieting!!

Hi all, I hope you all having a great day.

Yesterday went very well. It's a downer of a day here, grey and cold! I have a bit of a cold and don't feel like doing much of anything really. Maybe if it clears up this afternoon I can head out for a walk.

Lytricia, how is it over there? I heard something on the n ews about a snowstorm but it was in reference to the eastern section.....so I hope you missed that storm.

Beautiful4me, congratulations on the 2 lbs. and also on your exercising, that's great. I was looking around in the forum. On the main forums page, at the very top, click on where it says announcements and forum help.....then click on the 3rd sticky down which is titled , adding a weight tracker to signature. THere is a link given there as well as directions. Hope this helps, good luck.

Regarding updating the tracker, I am not sure how they do it? I think they go back and plug in the new numbers, etc.

Hisskitty, I looked at the pics again : ) The kitty we gave to MIL became tame, though she hisses still sometimes. She is very content being the only animal in the house (she didn't do well with other animals in the house). She is my DIL shadow and very happy and well fed

Mygirlsmommy, ty and I am glad you had a nice time As for the few days of eating a bit more not needing to turn into more, right I agree, we just brush right past it and keep on truckin. What your MIL said, that is super : ) and dh was checking you out! I'm glad keep up the awesome work.

Hi sunshineeee, congrats on the 5 lb. loss : ) that is great! You mentioning eating over the weekend and maybe putting it back, I would not go on the scale if I were you and just get right back with the program and wait until next weigh-in. The weekends can be tough. I would recommend checking out Chile's restaurant, they have a healthy food section called the guiltess grill menu. I get the chicken platter and I love it! They even provide you with calorie information , carbs, etc. You might want to consider looking into it if there is a chain near you, this way you can still go out and have fun but with a healthy meal : )

Hiiiii buttermom : ) I'm glad that you had a great time and got to see your grandmother again, that is so nice. Ohhhhh, congrats on the loss andd your new haircut and clothes and just how you did that for yourself, how nice!!!! That is terrific! 18 lbs. is a very big accomplishment, keep reminding yourself of your accomplishments and keep it going......You make me feel like jogging now too! lol Bravoooooo for doing your exercise over the holiday weekend. I was a slacker over the weekend but got right back to it yesterday. TOday , I still have not done any exercise yet....so lazy to start and now you isnpired me to get a move on, so thanks : )

Well ladies, I better get a move on. It's so nice to come in and read your posts, your Easter stories and inspiration......: ) Have a great day and let's make it a good one.

Well I decided to brave the scale today to check out the ultimate outcome of my weekend splurges..I figured today would give my body long enough to figure out what the heck I did to it. Welllll Happy Easter me..I am down another pound to 214. That really made me feel good..even though I splurged I guess I did it in enough moderation to not pack back on a couple of extra pounds.

Whhewww. I was really worried about that.

I hope everyone is having a good week. Let's move those scales ladies.

Default Happy Tuesday :)

Hi everyone,

Just a quick report in that I'm basically just following phase one for the second week and looking forward to Monday's weigh in. I think that making my weigh ins on Mondays keeps me more careful on the weekend. Purely psychological Congrats to everone on their workouts and weight loss! As long as we keep moving forward we will make it (like sharks )

Full Steam - Thanks about asking about my screen name. I hadn't looked at those pictures in quite a while. It made me smile to look at her cute face again. Right now I have two big dogs at home one a pure black retriever mix (adopted) and the other a wolf/shepherd mix that I found in the middle of the night (94 pounds of pure love). This fall my bf is moving in with his cat. I'm thinking she is going to be very shocked and need some quiet space for herself in the beginning. I'm happy to hear that your feral kitty is happy in her new home and your husband sounds like a peach. You both have such big hearts to give up your vacation for the new kitty! Not too many people would have done that. Lucky kitty. How does your Pomeranian get along with the cats?

Good luck to everyone as we reach the middle of the week. I love reading everyone's posts. Gives me faith and reminds me that I am not alone in this struggle.

Hi All

I have calmed down now and I am typing my post in a word document so that I can copy and paste it so that I won’t lose it again. (I wish losing weight was as easy!)

Everything is really good here, FSA – We did get a heap of snow over the weekend. I was traveling to my mom’s which is about 2 ½ hours north of Toronto and the roads were snow covered. We managed alright and the supper was worth the drive. I did really well though, filled up on salad and water before the main course and completely stayed away from the potatoes! She had baked a ham and I must admit that I did have some of the crackling but not enough to worry about.

I am so locked into my focus now that I am on fire!!! I am seeing the weather turn and it is really lifting my spirits. I am going to Buffalo this weekend to do some shopping with my 17 year old daughter and I have vowed that I will not by anything for myself unless I love it…and I am buying a size smaller than what I am right now!! I will just have to work diligently to fit into it for the summer. I have never been to the outlet malls there…does anyone have any good suggestions or knows of any stores I should especially hit? My daughter is looking for a prom dress but other than that it is pretty much a free for all for us.

My goal is to be down 30 lbs by mid July – about 14 weeks from now so I have to keep moving! VegasBabe come on!! Challenge is on let’s do this.

Sunshine25, I know that weekends can be hard, but one of the things that I learned when I was doing hypnosis to help me lose weight, is to always keep your goal in the forefront of your mind. If you wake up late on the weekend then start your day with a healthy bowl of high fibre cereal and skim milk, make sure you get all the water into you that you can, and maybe don’t talk yourself into qualifying your decisions for blowing the hard work you’ve done all week. If we change our thinking from ‘I deserve this cheat’ to ‘I deserve this fat loss’ we will all be at our goals in no time.

I have to confess that sometimes when I am determined to have a cheat (usually chips) but know I shouldn’t…I literally take a ¼ teaspoon of salt from the shaker and eat it. It’s probably really bad for me, but at least I only get the salt and not the fat as well!

There you go…confessions from a fat chick!

Talk to you all soon

Good afternoon everyone. I loved your advice to Sunshine Lytricia. Changing our attitude and self talk is helping me. I have my moments to. Last night I did'nt get any excercise in. I got off work late and that is exactly why I try to excercise in the morning and get it out of the way. I have 20 minutes of my 60 minutes left today. I am eating pretty good so far. I was wanting Chinese food last night but my husband had already eaten so I ate a bowl of cherrios. I am glad I did. I am praying for that 8lb weight loss this month. I would be so excited. Keep up the good work ladies.

Hi again! I am having a great day. I have really stuck to my guns and refused any junk today.

I made a terrific bbq tonight – even though it was snowing out! If summer won’t come any faster I will just have to pretend it’s already here! The steaks were perfect and added to my energy levels. I am just so happy that I have my attitude turned around…finally!

I can't believe we are having another blizzard here. As I sit here and type I can see the ground quickly being covered by snow!!!!! God please make it stop!!!

Until next time.

hi all, did well the last couple of days, eating wise. And i've been to the gym both tuesday and wednesday probably wont make it tonight though, it's freezing rain here, and there's been alot going on with the family...in laws people who comment about things that they have NO CLUE about. My husband and I are just going to relax together tonight, hopefully the kids will go to bed a little early, and we're just going to spend some time good luck with your day ladies.

Hi everyone! Just a quick check in. I'm down two pounds! Woohoo!!! I guess I didn't totally blow it Sunday and Monday - whew! Not that I want to test that again. Everyone has such great suggestions, I love seeing what you all have to say. Lytricia, I may have to try that salt trick, especially around that TOM! Onward and downward, all, have a great day!

Mygirlsmommy - woo hoo on the weight loss!!

Jellybeanz - are those your kids in your avator?!They are adorable! Have a nice evening in with your hubby tonight.

Lytricia - LOL at your bbq in the blizzard!!! Im always wearing my flip flops when its still far too cold, blue toes so not a good look!! LOL!!

I had a bit of a speed wobble yesterday, almost binged, but managed to stop half way through and still go the gym. Phew. Hopefully it hasnt completly ruined my weeks efforts. Im off the gym again tonight, I really want the scale to move this week. I have to work so hard it seems to get the weight off, and im only 24!! In a way that spurs me on, if its hard now, its going to be very hard to get the wieght off when im 40, or 50. So i had better get on with it and get it off NOW! I dont want to spend the rest of my twenties fat and frumpy.
Have a good day ladies!!

hey all,
wow, it has been a crazy week... i haven't even been able to post my weekly weigh in (i weigh in on Wed.)... but that was good news @ 158... but that day i had a minor procedure to remove something on my leg that could be bad in the future (nothing bad now and i'm fine) it just puts me out so i can't exercise for 2 weeks... and that's hard for me. and so the past couple of days i have been eating a little worse and feeling a little down... how can you still feel healthy and strong if you can't workout?
