Thanks Valmorel hopefully when I get to maintenance I'll actually be able to maintain ... Enjoy your holiday Valmorel I repeat weights a lot also. I was stuck between 158-161 for a long time bouncing through that range drove me nuts

Mad Donnelly, not doing better is what I get upset about. I have finally as of this week decided that I will eat like I am supposed to when I get home (with the exception of yesterday ) TOM started and I wanted everything but back on track today

Thanks hiddenstar LOL that pizza is interesting, the option I would use for crust is oopsie bread so I get more protein. I haven't made any in a long time. I'm so so happy for you Keep up the great work

Syckgirlsfv, I've been around, just not checking in as often as I'd like. I started working in July. I work a lot. But I'm trying to check in more because this site and the friends I've made have helped me bunches these four years. You're doing great as usual.

I reached a new low this morning of 154.8. I was so surprised. I stepped on the scale twice to confirm.

151 again today. I anticipate a couple water pounds later probably, but planning a bike ride.

I'd like to join this thread! I spent most of my adult life in the 110's and 120's. At a point I went up to the 130's, but I lost that relatively quickly and went back to maintaining my usual weight. Over the last year and a half I've gotten up to 150. I struggled with the 140's for a while, but somehow ended up continuing to gain. I have several health problems and that may be responsible for my stubborn weight, but I really feel like I need to find a way to get this off. I feel very out of shape. I have a hiking date tomorrow and I worry that I'll be out of breath immediately.

I logged in at 151 yesterday morning. I'm aiming to eat about 1300 calories, mostly vegetables and protein.I'll be checking in here regularly. I hope to get back to the 130's by the end of the year and 120's by Valentine's Day.

I sometimes don't check in for a while, because I am more in maintenance, but it does really help to have this thread!

152.8 this morning - drinks and Cheesecake Factory yesterday BUT I burned 1250 calories on a 25 mile bike ride with DH. But the drinks always cause water gain, and actually its less this morning than usual. I'll get it off in the next day or two, as always

Syckgirlsfv, thank you for the warm welcome!

I took a challenging hike today (it wouldn't have been challenging for me 2 years ago). I went with a man 11 years my senior and he breezed through it while I huffed, puffed, and had to take frequent breaks. It was really a wake up call to how out of shape I've gotten and how much better it felt to be in shape. I don't enjoy exercise, but I do like how my body feels when I'm fit. Today was definitely motivation to start working out more.

I'm here, I'm here, I'm here!!!!! 159.6 today and 159.8 yesterday. Finally! The 150s are making it feel real that goal is coming.

150 was my first major goal and it seemed so far away. As soon as I hit 150 we are replacing our peaks and valleys king sized family bed with a new kids-are-in-their-own-bed queen. I can't wait.

I'm 152 today, that's 69 kg. Exactly half of my starting weight of 138 kg

Goal is 150, normal BMI. Next goal will probably be 130.

151 today - I haven't ridden my bike all week because of the presentation I had to do in Operations Management, and my Corporate Finance midterm last night. Gonna do at least 16 tonight - because it will be dark we don't want to go TOO far.

Thank you Syckgirlsfv!

I'm 158.6 today.
I'm still trying to convince my body that I'm supposed to be eating 1200 calories instead of my usual 1700. It'll get the message eventually, I hope.
